The problem is all of their cars have unnecessary dealer markups for things that should be an option. We were looking at a 2024 Ridgeline and it had $3500 in tint, paint protection and other stuff the dealer put on. With the market like it is not sure this dealership is listening. Consumers don't want these dealer markups even if I did they are inflated. Perhaps since they are the only one in town people just pay it. The only option we had at Honda was to put down $1000 and wait for one to come as is from the manufacturer. Needless to say we wanted the Ridgeline but not all the complications. We left Honda and went to Toyota next door. We did buy a car and did not pay for a bunch of inflated dealer add ons I don't want. Sorry Apple Valley Honda you lost a sale because of these add ons.

Installation and checkout took about a week and a half. They were very thorough and kept me informed along the way. My service rep, Doug, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I took my RAV4 to Global Car Care because Slip Indicator Light was staying on ...traction control…read moreproblem. First, they said "rear plug" of transmission had come out and needed to replaced. Also, the battery was bad and needed to be replaced. The battery recovered overnight after I asked for my battery back to return since it was only 12 months of the 36 month of Interstate's warranty. Manager Jay told me a car's alternator does not charge the battery. Then at the end of the next day Global Car Care called to say after the test drive it was not shifting properly so needed to replace the Steering Rack and Tie Rods of a cost of $2,069.21. I declined and picked up the car, no improvement in problem. - cost of $456.31 I then took the car to Town Toyota, they quickly identified the problem as a loose steering rack bolt that needed to be tightened. They tightened the bolt and all other cradle bolts, reset all sensors, and front wheel alignment. The total cost for Town Toyota service department to resolve problem and improve drivability in a half day was $347.10.

While traveling through the area, I noticed the engine shield on my 2013 Ford Escape was drooping…read moredown on one side. Not a big problem, just a missing bolt. So I dropped by this dealership expecting to buy a bolt and replace it. The parts department wasn't quite sure which bolt it was, so I crawled under the car to take a photo of the remaining bolt. A man - the owner or general manager, I suppose, saw me and suggested putting the car up on the rack, which we did. The problem was bigger than the bolt. The thing it screws into was also broken. After 20 minutes, both sets of bolts and connectors were replaced AT NO CHARGE! I believe in rewarding goodwill. That level of service contrasted so sharply with the dealership in Olympia where we bought our Escape that next time we're in the market for a new car we'll make the three-hour drive over the mountains and purchase it there.
