One of the worst dealership in the Union, NJ. The management is the worst, especially Aaron and Brandon. We were looking for 2018 Prosche Macan S, the price online was $22,999, however the car was not inspected, we had to pay for our own PPI and found out all 4 tires and the oil valve gaskets needs to be replaced. The sales manager first agreed to cover the repair and then asked us to buy a warranty if we wanted same price. They are very dishonest and seems like a fraud. Some time after the purchase, while driving to an Eagles tailgate, the vehicle's rear axle suddenly failed at a toll. The car became immobile, and I had to have it towed to BMW of Turnersville in New Jersey. The repair estimate from BMW was $24,000. Before proceeding with the repairs, I sought a second opinion from another mechanic. This mechanic provided me with an accurate Carfax report, which revealed that the vehicle had, in fact, been involved in a significant accident and sustained structural damage prior to my purchase. I have been working with my attorney, Mr. Silber, for the past month to seek a refund from the dealership, but they have refused. They would not give me the number of where it was being fixed, nothing. Turbos were leaking, coolant was leaking, oil was leaking, just a complete utter disaster of a car. I live in California and I tried buying a car. Asked multiple times for break down and OTD price because I needed it to go get the check from my bank. They insisted on me talking to finance and I told them I just need the breakdown for my bank. Gave them my info and they said okay. Finance guy still called and I knew he wanted to ask me to finance with them. I said I have navy fed and all I need is the print out of break down and OTD. He said okay I'll get that to you no more than an hour. Well that was this morning . They called me again to ask how they can help .. clearly they are all over the place because they didn't know I already spoke to finance. I reach out to see what's going on and they said they are too busy . I am in sales and it takes 5 mins to send a break down . And this is what one of the team members texted me.. " I understand but it's difficult to work with customers that aren't in person as we put priority to the customers who make appointments and come down to the dealership or customers that walk in. Whenever the finance managers have the time to get back to your inquiry, they will get it done as soon as they can or even better, they can explain everything over the phone!" I give Autopia Motorcars a 0 rating. My review on their website is not what I wrote. They ripped us off more than once in the purchase of our vehicle. The car was advertised at $29,999. When we said we were paying with a bank check that we had processed by our bank, we were told that the price advertised was only if we financed it. We agreed to finance it but I told them I was making one payment on it then paying it off. They said I needed to go at least 3 payments. They came to me with a pile of papers to sign and it was time to close. The salesman kept pushing and flipping papers at me to sign with no explanation. I ended up paying $4800 for a custom Edge warranty. It was never explained to me how much. Also payed $1200 for a gap program which only works for you if you are making monthly payments. I have been calling a certain finance manager, who keeps feeding me lies, telling me he will call me back (never does), tells me to call Capital One Auto Loans, etc. He has been blowing smoke up my ass for 2 months now. DON'T EVER BUY A CAR HERE! I wish I would've seen all these reviews before going there. They only post good reviews. The review that was posted by me, I didn't write it. Those were not my words. The 2 salesmen shoved I pads at us as we were going out the door. All I want is my money refunded for these 2 warranties. Horrible Experience!!!! Try to sell me a Ford Fiesta 2013 THAT WAS COMPLETLY DESTROYED!! When I took it for a test drive it was shifting rough through all the gears. Transmission light came on and engine light came on. I put down $3000 to buy the car straight out. But when I finally took it off the lot it barely made 3 miles before it was bucking really bad!! I asked if there were any hidden charges. They said no. I told them that I was driving almost 3 hours to come see this vehicle and to please be honest with me. Again, the reiterated no hidden fees. I arrived at 9am. There was no one there. The employees meandered in by 9:30am. I took the car for a test drive. They car had a grinding noise in the steering. If I could give a 0 star, I would. Very disappointed with the way these people make business. It's 2024, no one wants to be pushed into buying a car without being 100% sure about it. These people do business backwards where they run your credit score first before taking a test drive. Wasted 3 hours of my time in trying to run numbers, hitting my credit score, keeping my driver's license even though I wanted it back and didn't want to take the test drive anymore... But the cherry on top is that they claim a $3k PDI fee (Dealer fee to inspect the car) and when you finally get the key to test drive the car, the car won't start because the battery is dead!!! Really? Yeah, that will increase your customer confidence for sure. Avoid at all cost!!! Insufficient cooperation with scammers!!! Very bad service and shady dealings!! I was so excited when I found the 2018 Nissan Versa for my mother! We purchased the car for cash for $7500 out the door since we were to pay our own taxes once we registered the car in NYC. Thank goodness we didn't let them take the tax payment I am sure they would have scammed us out of that money too!! After the purchase they told my mother they would mail her the title (first red flag but since this is a dealership we didn't think much of it). After 2 weeks the title arrived via regular mail but my 70+ year old mother didn't look over the paperwork and sadly it wasn't until she arrived at DMV that she realized the car wasn't able to be registered because it had a salvaged non repairable title!!! It was just devastating for my mom who was so excited to own this vehicle it was a gift from me to my mom because recently she had to junk her old car. Please avoid this dealership at all costs!! No accountability and had the audacity to only refund my mother $7,000 and kept the $500 administrative fee although they cost my mother a lot of time and money because of their dishonesty and shady practices!! Meanwhile on their website they promise that all of their cars are certified pre-owned...well obviously not! The absolute worst feeling is to give someone a gift and have to take it back... So many reasons for a zero (not one) star rating. The place is extremely dirty. The door to get in the establishment is covered in grime, the floor hadn't been swept in a while, and there was a used paper towel rolled up lying on the floor right in front of the receptionist desk. I kicked it under the red showroom car next to the seats I was kept waiting at for over an hour with not many other customers around. The employees working there seem depressed and look like they didn't really take their job seriously based based upon how they were dressed, the way they spoke to me, and their overall attitudes. The 15 year old kid who's there to greet potential customers made various odd comments throughout my time waiting. As the receptionist left for the day, her perfume lingered in the air. He walked past me, sniffed the air and said "ooooo you smell so good". It took him about 30 minutes or so to show me the car that I had an appointment to see. It's snowing/sleeting outside as he leads me to the car that's turned on, covered in ice and snow, and blocked in by two other cars. During the walk over, he muttered how I wanted to pay for the car. Check? No. I guess he motioned with his hands like he was swiping with a credit card. I asked him what he was doing. Card?! I couldn't really see because he was in front of me. I said yes, probably. He seemed annoyed and actually mocked me for a second. So the car is blocked in. I can barely get in to check it out, and I ask if I can give it a test drive. Again he makes fun of me a bit. You want to drive it?! Yes, please. 45 minutes later I finally climbed into the car with the salesperson. Not one person wore a mask while I was there. If they had one on, it was pushed under their chin exposing their boss and mouth. We're in a pandemic. Thousands of people are sick and dying each month. I'm the only one who wore a mask, and I didn't feel safe at all. They tried the good old fashioned bait and switch on me. All of the fun tricks of the trade were thrown into the mix. Even the "you look like a smart guy, so I'm not going to waste your time" line. The car was initially advertised at one price online, and when I got there it went up about $4,000. We went back and forth for a few minutes debating his process, all the while he defended the multiple fees that helped the price climb that far up. At one point, frustrated, he picked a similar car (similar make, model and year) and called the dealer to "show me" that all dealers did the same thing with the price. He added about $775. Then he repeatedly disputed the CarFax report of structural damage. After going through all of that, the salesman eventually told me that's what the car is worth and directed me to the general manager of the place. He agreed Yep. On one of my test drives the car was shaking and the guy said I was imagining it. When I kept protesting the owner said it was a wheel imbalance and they would fix it. Come next day same issue and they tried to get me to buy it saying it was fine. They lie a lot. They'll lie about anything in an effort to get you to buy their cars. Do not trust the google reviews because they write it themselves. They trick customers by offering a free gas voucher if you let them write a review on your phone. Anything with like "____ helped me out" or "ask for ___ they are super helpful" the sellers wrote it. They said they would provide a gas voucher for a full fill up. They only filled 1/4 gas. They sold me auto insurance that turned out to be crappy and the seller tricked me into zelleing him a "service fee". They tried to rush me to sign the documents without giving me time to read it. They lied about the mileage of the car. They lied about the auto accident history. They lied about the condition of the car. Every scammer trick that you think the usual bad car dealers will use, they'll attempt to use it on you. If you arent experienced with buying cars or what to look for in a car, they'll exploit that. This is not a dealer you can trust. They have failed to resolve my complaint submitted with the BBB. Would NEVER buy a car from here again. Not only do they try to add on way too many charges, but they also have terrible management and terrible follow-through after the sale. I purchased a vehicle from them on 7/7. The temporary tag expired on 8/9. They did not provide an extension until 8/25. However, on 8/24 I received a $100 fine for having expired temp tags on my vehicle. I have asked them to cover this cost several times. This dealer is refusing to compensate me for a charge I incurred due to their own negligence. When they did issue the temp tag, they issued it through another dealer altogether. My phone records show that I have called over 100 times in the last 3 months. The owner just does not care to make this right. When I call, Mickey (the manager) either refuses to pick up our call or hangs up on us. Save yourself the trouble and just buy somewhere else. Carvana is very similarly priced my experience with them has been much better. The headache with dealers like Autopia is just not worth it. read more

It stopped working the next day. after MONTHS of it sitting in a mechanic, with a blown engine (plus a warranty that they sold us that did not support the issue) and continued monthly car payments. Horrible customer service, sell cars with car fax that is NOT accurate. Submitted a complaint to BBB and the failed to resolve it - the car they sold to us with MINOR damage noted on car fax as (dents, scratches, scuffs) actually had a HOLE in the trunk (MAJOR) damage and the repair they did looks like a preschooler did it with a glue gun. It's been almost a month and I still don't have my registration card which was merely a transfer for which they charged me an outrageous amount to transfer my plates. The only person who ever returned my calls or texts was their shop guy, Tony. No one else in that place returns calls or communicates. The DMV girl, Rachel, has a huge attitude problem and yells on the phone because she gets offended when she is told that EVERY other dealer we have purchased from had us our plates and/or registration back within two weeks. They rack on an outrageous amount of fees, they ran my credit numerous times after specifically being told NOT to that we already had a preapproval with Capital One. The vehicle they sold me on February 3 was previously sold on January 20th to another customer who clearly returned it for issues probably related to the cameras which they claim they fix but the order they sent me clearly shows it was NOT fixed and the photo of they person who purchased the vehicle clearly shows it is the same vehicle with the same air freshener hanging in the window and the same exact crack on the front end - it's obvious that it is the same vehicle that was returned to them a week prior to me purchasing it and they are now saying they have numerous vehicles that are the same. Don't come here if you are unexperienced with first/new car purchases, i came here waited about three hours for the hole process by the time i was done, i didn't even know what i signed because the salesman, david i just zipped past the paperwork. They sold me a car that had a oil leak and then i then took it to my own mechanic to which i paid about 100$ for it to be ran by the computer, came back telling me it was a crank shaft leak. i returned it to them to get it fixed, they told me it was all good. So i took it to my own mechanic and there was still a couple issues that needed to be looked at such as oil pan and things related to that, even after they told me the car would be all good. On top of that they said it would be repaired with infinti oem parts never got a receipt from the auto shop that fixed it i just took they're word for it. Salesman tried pocketing 1k if i hadn't pointed it out. Before i could get it back i tried taking the car to get it inspected but it didn't even work because the dealership itself only have a 15 day warranty for full refund, which you cant even get done because the actual registration card doesn't come in till like a months in. Ended up losing my job and lost 3k which i had put down for down payment on top of them giving me a 15.99% rate for 76 months for a 2016 q50 with about 40k miles. Ended up losing more then they gave in return and received no compensation for any of additional costs i put on the car on top of what should have already been done . Although the sales man did say i had 3k in credit theres no way to tell if he's keeping his word for it. Moral of the story they walked all over me and won but wont happen again. read more

He says he's "got me". Why are you saying 32000 is fine now you'll make sure I get 30000 for it is beyond me. He says he will get with finance for me and get me some numbers so I have a better mindset of what I can or cannot get into. Moments later he says he's not going to do that because he doesn't want to bother them. Huh? It's your job to bother them and get a deal no? But he just keeps telling me to go into the shop. I've had 6 cars prior to this one and I was able to get a deal and see all the numbers and everything prior to even stepping foot into dealerships yet this local dealership can't do what they said they would do and get me numbers and strike a deal? RUN AWAY. This place needs to be shut down! We purchased a car Feb 1 and on Feb 2 it was smoking and had to be sent to the mechanic! It was back and forth at the mechanic 3 times within two weeks until it ultimately stopped working on the highway profusely smoking! This place has been absolutely disgusting to deal with!! Including the "ladies" at the front desk. On 3/10 I asked for contact information for senior management at first no one knew who was in charge then I was finally provided a fake # (I called In Front of them). It turns out the disgusting "manager", Mustafa "Mikey" Laham is actually the owner!! He is a thief ! I was actually told by the cops that he has changed the name of his business several times and has numerous lawsuits! The sales person, Emmanuel, knew this was a bad deal.. but he proceeded to defend this criminal like activity...when I initially wrote a review I was offered 100$ to take it down! my experience here was absolutely HORRIFYING!! first of all, OUR SALESMAN WAS 18!!! he was acting like we were his first customers and i wouldn't be surprised. We drove here an hour and a half away from home to look at a truck, it was in great condition, the truck was listed for 24k and honestly the price did match the truck. We went on a monday to look at it, they wanted 6 down so we put down three and then we were going to come back on wednesday to put the rest of the down payment down. We were there on monday with my deaf grandmother who is my co-signer and who also takes care of her 90 year old mother, thinking we were only going to be there for about two or three hours. we ended up staying for SIX because nobody would speak to us, they were all running around being secretive and talking to others. So you can only imagine how my grandmother and great grandmother were feeling. After we left we called back the next day and they proceeded to tell us we had to wait to come back until friday because they didn't have the title. We were worried they were going to sell the truck out from under us so we came back wednesday anyways. This time we spoke with the owner and he outright told us he sent it to auction because the title was messed up bc some dude traded it for a hellcat, i think he's the owner (63 year old and scared of sharks don't remember his name) but he was the only guy who didn't run us through hoops and was nice enough to let us know what was going on. in conclusion just save your time and don't even bother going here, it was an awful experience unless you go straight to the guy who is scared shitless of sharks after watching the movie jaws. read more

Went here and bought a car that they promised was in perfect condition. It broke down that same night and would not run for more than fifteen minutes without turning off. They also slap on an additional $2000 fee for doing nothing. They claim it's for detailing the car but the car was dirty on the inside. read more

Received an offer through Truecar.com for a car at Autopia. We made an appointment to see the car a day later. We drove over an hour to the "dealership." As we walked to the salesperson's desk, he asked about financing. I told him we had our own. He then gave me the "cash" price of the car, which was $4500 more. I controlled my laughter and said "no way!" That was strike one. He took us to the car to look at and to test drive. It was not ready. It was behind a few cars, filthy, and the interior smelled like it hadn't been opened in months. Strike two. Then he couldn't start the car. STRIKE THREE! We told him forget it and walked away.
