On May 14, 2021 we took our John Deere tractor to Dave's for repair. It was running for about half…read moreand hour and then shutting off. Dave's said it was an ignition problem, and the part would be $750. The tractor isn't any good to me broken, so I said go ahead and fix it. The parts were installed and the tractor was still shutting off, same as before. He said it was a fuel system problem and that the carb needed work. I again said the tractor isn't good broken, go ahead and fix it. $970.42 later, and the tractor is still doing the EXACT SAME THING it was before I took it in. They sent me home with the tractor and a huge bill for parts and labor that it did not need. Discussed this fact with them and they DID NOT CARE THAT THEY CHARGED ME A GRAND AND THE TRACTOR STILL WON'T WORK. Tried to ask them to work with me, and they refused. Therefore, be warned... if you take your equipment to them you could very well end up in the same boat I am. $1000 out of my pocket and having to take the tractor to someone else to fix.

I've used 24-hour towing places before and typically there is at least an operator or someone that answers the phone, or one time I remember a voicemail box that said if nobody calls you back in 5 minutes here's another number.
