Had an awesome time at Mark's Herb Chopper class! It was a very fun and relaxed space - perfect for newbies just learning how to swing a hammer. The instruction was excellent and I'm very happy with how the piece turned out. Would definitely go back for another round! read more

We offer blacksmithing classes for everyone. Come and learn how to forge red hot steel in a working blacksmith shop. No experience necessary - we will provide everything for you and teach you this ancient art. We have classes that will teach you how to make hand forged items including fire pokers, towel rails, knives, and axes. We are real live Forged in Fire blacksmiths

History

Established in 2012.

I started blacksmithing in 2012 and feel in love with forging hot steel. I started out teaching classes at different locations throughout central New York by driving my forge to different places - moving hundreds of pounds of equipment around got tiring! So in 2022 I moved to a new location in Kirkville NY to start teaching more classes. Now you can come to a working blacksmith shop and learn how to move red hot metal under the guidance of a blacksmith

A British born blacksmith who has been working in the USA for the past 25 years. I love teaching blacksmithing to new students and seeing the excitement when they forge steel into beautiful objects.

QI needed 4 special steel plates made with square holes . I brought them over to punch and die and…read morethey said no problem. They took care of it for me no problem.....They are the nicest people to deal with. I wholeheartedly recommend them for any metal work. Fantastic work.
