The part that bothers me is the watery soap from the foaming brush. It's almost as if they do they to make you have to wash the car 2x. It's like a money grab. The heads on the brushes are small and circular. It's definitely some scam type activities from whoever owns or run this place. It's ways to just make you spend as much as possible while not really providing anything except a quick rinse off. I went here maybe 2x when I lived in Towson and stopped and started traveling all the way back to Dundalk to go to my old carwash simply because it's a better carwash and you get more than what you pay for. The team at this location is great, they run and maintain this car wash very effectively. I've interacted with two different managers and both have been very pleasant and professional. I go to this car wash 5 days a week because I have a membership, which believe me is worth every penny especially during the winter season. This location definitely does have its busy times, but overall I've never had to wait long to wash or vacuum my car. Vacuums are free, drying towels are free for use, and the stations for washing floor mats are free for members. The workers do a really good job of keeping the area clean. They also constantly walk to all the stations to keep the bins for clean towels full and keep the bins for dirty towels empty. As many times as I've been to this car wash, I've never seen any of the stations out of order, which is impressive with the high volume of traffic each station experiences on a daily bases. Took one of my classic trucks here (1977) and since it didn't have much to clean there wasn't a problem but my white car struggles everytime. There has been at least three times recently I had to go back through and the dirt still didn't come off, so an employee came out and assisted me with wiping it down. It was very sweet of the employee but I was wondering why this keeps happening. I was going through once every two weeks depending on the weather and possibly more if I was traveling far. The bugs on the front just about stay on even after going through. It's very discouraging especially since I always get the Super. The positive is they do have free vacuums. They have a handicap area for the vacuums as well. Be careful when you pull the vacuum out before placing on your carpet as I have found gum on it before. They suck up what is needed so other than paying attention before placing on your carpet these are very nice vacuums. They also have a mat cleaner that you stick your mats through to be cleaned. They seem to work very well just beware it does not remove pet hair which I didn't expect. Just warning you. Now that covid is here they have placed hand sanitizer spray bottles at each station and buckets for clean and dirty cloths. All in all this is a decent place but I think for washing I have to try out places to get the clean look for my whole car.

I was at Rainbow car wash Wednesday to get my car cleaned. Might I add that I have never had a bad…read moreexperience with this car wash at all Until today. Today, when I pulled into Rainbow, my car door was perfectly fine. When I went to get in my car after it was cleaned, my car door would barely open. I walked in and got the owner and he immediately said there was no way, but he will check the cameras. Watching the video with the owner, I didn't notice right away how my fender got damaged but now I realize that when he leaned over my car to grab the floor mats off the windshield, the other guy was opening the car door at the same time. Which pushed the fender wall back just enough for the door to catch it and bent it badly. He told me they "couldn't do anything about a pre-existing defect". There was no defect at all until I left this car wash and now I have to pay $1300-$1500 to get the dent repaired and the paint fixed. They do a great job cleaning the cars but when you leave your car with them they essentially do not care if your car gets damaged because it is "not their fault". After at least 10 years of getting my car cleaned here, I will no longer be visiting this careless establishment or recommending anyone to do so either. Which sucks because they do a better job than most car washes. If you are considering a car wash here, remember it will be at your own risk and cost. I would not recommend visiting Rainbow at all.
