Giving a 5 was tough... But the quality of their work and extra effort when I found something not done after they charged for it, made up for it. Arrived unannounced to get an estimate done on a simple collision with light damage to my front fender and aluminum tire rim. Initially I was told to come back with an appointment. But Dino made time to squeeze me in which I appreciated. So Dino created a worksheet and took pictures. Within a few days, my insurance sent them approval to disassemble and advises with any supplementary damage. So Dino scheduled with me a day, almost 3 weeks later when they had an opening to begin which was fine since my car was perfectly safe and legal to drive. The damage was cosmetic. So on the scheduled drop off date, I dropped the car off and picked up a rental. Expecting that the care would then be disassembled and a supplement al estimate would be sent to my insurance within a day or two, much to my disappointment, that did not happen until about 6 working daysd later, 8 days including the weekend where I was paying for a rental care with limited number of days covered. So that was a bit irritating. But after that, Dino kept me well informed as to the status and progress of my repair and finished up with only 2 days left on my rental car allowance. All was good right? Not so good. So I reyturned the renatsl car because I am told my car was redy to be picked up. This was only to find out that after I was dropped off to pick up the car, someone forgot to remove the damaged rim and repair that! Sigh. So far this isn't looking good for Autobahn since its not fixed, I just dropped off the rental, and it will take days to get fixed which is more that what I have remaining on rental should I go get another. So, Dino worked something our where he could obtain a temporary wheel of the same size and car maker so I could drive on. that until my rim was fixed. In the end, it all worked out and Autobahn did a very good job and Dino did some creative damage control. So I kept them at 5 stars . I would have no reservations returning to both Dino or anyone else at Autobahn in the future although I pray I don't need to. But I can trust these guys, I just need to make sure that the start on the day or next day I drop it off and not days later and I check out the repair before dropping off the rental. Guess I'll start at the beginning. Set up an estimate for some damage to the back end of my vehicle (other guy was at fault, his insurance was covering). Estimate seemed fine, so I went ahead and set up an appt about a week or two out. A day or two prior to my appt, I get a call from the shop. They want to push back my appt because they'd overbooked themselves. I would've been fine with that, but it had already been a headache to get the insurance and rental set up for that date. I asked to keep the date and the lady at the front desk said that'd be fine, as they were able to move some other things around. Great...drop my car off and grab the rental. I don't hear anything from the shop for almost two weeks, so I reach out to get an ETA. The guy in charge of my repair says that the parts should be in on the following Tuesday, and that they hadn't begun any repairs. I think to myself, "that's odd, why not order parts and have me bring my vehicle in when they arrive, rather than have me paying for a rental for 2 weeks?". After checking their reviews online, it seems as though they've flat out forgotten to order parts for previous customers. Wow. Okay, I ask that the guy that's in charge of my repairs reach out with an ETA on the following Tuesday when the parts get in. Nobody calls, texts, or even emails me. I give it a day, then I call on Wednesday. Guy isn't available to talk, so I leave a message for him to contact me. Never calls. I call back on Friday and again he's unavailable. He calls me the following Monday to let me know my vehicle is ready ($875 for the rental and another $700 in additional coverage later). This is where it gets silly. He pulls my vehicle around and the new bumper clearly doesn't match the paint. 3 weeks and couldn't get the paint matched. Not only that, but he literally tries to convince me it's just the lighting and that they had, indeed, matched the paint. I'll include photos. At this point I have to ask for the manager to come take a look. I guess we need a third opinion. Manager skates around it a bit until I ask, just to be sure, "everyone here has eyeballs, right?". Now he confesses it doesn't match. They offer to keep the vehicle longer, and this is where I decline. After having little to no contact from the shop for the past 3 weeks, arrive to a job not even done, and having not only Dino, but Scott, the MANAGER, lie through their teeth about the paint matching. They NOW want to offer to fix the mistake. I told them I would feel more comfortable going with a different shop at this point and that I'm happy to pay for the bumper, but I'm not paying for the paint. I'll get an estimate for the paint somewhere else and we can deduct that from the total bill that they have for me. They agree and say they'll deduct that from the bill. 20 minutes later, they change their mind and tell me if I want my vehicle back, I'll pay the total. At this point, I reached out to the Non-Emergency line to see what my options are legally. The dispatcher tells me it's illegal for them to hold my vehicle for payment. They send an officer out to the shop and have me meet them there. I'm not sure what changed, but the officer said that I would need to pay first and then press charges later if I wanted to get refunded some of the money. Paid the shop, I have my vehicle, and an estimate to get the paint done right. Now I am filing a civil suit against the shop for the amount it will cost to have it re-painted ($1,100). At this point, it's not even really about the money, but principle. I will now dedicate a lot of extra time to be sure this team of clowns pays for this mistake. Worth it in my opinion. Great experience. Shop elsewhere, unless you love chaos and a team of unprofessionals lacking severely in customer service as well as technical skill in the shop itself. read more

Needless to say I'm highly irritated to not get a call to let me know there might be a potential issue with my appointment. It took me 40 minutes to drive here. Autobahn collision is an amazing shop, my A4 was unfortunately hit while it was sitting in the school parking lot. I knew this shop would be great as they are certified for Audi and many more manufacturers. I had taken my car in prior to this incident because I was rear ended before as well and they did a very thorough job. This time the repairs were a lot more extensive than the previous incident. My estimator Ashur went above and beyond, he had our back the entire way as the person and their insurance did not want to cover the price for the original parts. The difference being $2,400, but after many calls and emails Ashur handled everything with their insurance and got the difference down! Let me start off by first saying that I didn't have my vehicle repaired here so I can't speak to that but I did deal with the staff and facility. My vehicle was towed here as it was involved in a rear end collision and the insurance company deemed it a total loss, which is unfortunate for many reasons, one being because I really wanted my vehicle repaired here. The staff, particularly Kelli, is nothing short of amazing. Kelli goes WAY above and beyond to keep things moving throughout the insurance adjusting process and communicates with customers frequently. When my vehicle arrived, Kelli sent me an email letting me know my vehicle was there and followed up with me regularly. She was extremely professional and a true pleasure to deal with. The facility is beautiful, complete with a comfortable waiting area, large lot, and plenty of parking for customers. I also dealt with Mike and Russ, the manager, who were both extremely professional, helpful, and courteous. It's nice to see businesses still caring about customer service! Way to go Autobahn! I hope I never have to have body work done on a vehicle but if I do Autobahn is my first choice. read more

Had to bring my 2015 BRZ here after someone ran a red light and smacked into the driver side. Curtain airbag deployed, rear bumper was nearly ripped off, the rear wheel completely destroyed. Was overall a pretty big bummer because the car was incredibly great condition and very low miles and not daily driven. It ended up being just shy of totaled, and I got to choose with insurance to either repair or total it out and get a check. I knew the vehicle's history and really loved it, so I decided to have it repaired. Let me say, I do not regret the decision at all. Autobahn performed some of the best (if not the best) bodywork that myself or anyone else in my family has ever seen (we are avid sports/performance car enthusiasts with quite a few vehicles). The work was not rushed and it was obvious from the quality of the repair and work that these people know what they're doing and care about taking extreme care of your car during the process. We were able to tour the facility, which was quite an impressive operation. Many incredibly high end cars being worked on, from new performance vehicles to old classics. As for my car, you would never know that this car was in the accident that it was in. No differences in drivability, even when pushing it to its limit. The bodywork and the paint blending was on point, completely perfect. Not a single complaint. We plan on using Autobahn for any future bodywork or paint needs for any of our vehicles. Four stars because ultimately services provided were completed as expected to repair scrapes on the flare above the wheel of my X5. It took three full days when originally quoted one full business day (or 5.5 expected hours of work). There was evidently some trouble getting some parts from the manufacturer, but that puzzled me since the repair appointment has been on their calendar for well over a month. I additionally had to reach out for updates on my own as they weren't proactively provided to me. For this smaller job I can deal with that, just not ideal compared to some other experiences I've had at other collision repair shops in the area. read more

Worst service ever. I had a "fender bender" and brought them my car for repairs, because my Subaru dealership recommended them. Among some other issues along the way, after I received the car back I drove for 5-6 minutes and the car stopped working. It was in the middle of the road at the exit from highway - it was very scary and dangerous. I couldn't move the car - the vehicles were passing past me at speed. I'm calling the Autobahn Collision- asking for their help - THEY JUST RELEASED THE VEHICLE TO ME 5minutes ago!?!? The vehicle that had NO PROBLEMS except of the small dent in the trunk area. A large rubber mat was kicked-up on the 101 freeway and impacted the front-right portion of the bumper, and proceeded to travel along the side of the vehicle in a whiplash-like fashion. The rubber mat caused significant damage to the front bumper, parking sensor, and fog light assembly; an entire new bumper was ordered from Tesla and painted. I was recommended this establishment by Audi Gilbert to fix my fin. I waited a week for a quote and then received my quote from Tim who quoted $2600 and 5-10 business days for completion. Unfortunately I would have to wait 5 weeks until the 11/29 to start the repair. I agreed to wait. When I went to drop off the vehicle, Tim was no longer employed so Jacklyn would be assisting me. I had her reiterate it would be 5-10 business days as we had made plans and worked our schedule around not having a vehicle for 2 weeks. Family was coming in for Christmas so we needed to ensure vehicle was back by the 10th of December. I was assured the quote was accurate. On 12/6 I called for update and was told Jacklyn was out but I would get a call by end of day. I did not. I received a call the following day that technician pulled car in bay and I would get a follow up once Jasmine, who was helping out Jacklyn while out sick. I did not get an update so reached out again 12/9, one day before completion date. I received a call back from Kyle who told me it would be done 12/21 or so.... You can imagine my reaction. I expected a call from Jason the manager to discuss. He never called. I picked up my car today, still not fixed or even started on so it clearly was not with technician on Tuesday. Jason is still MIA and 8 weeks was wasted on this poor excuse for a business. You honor commitments to your customer end of story. Please do not trust or use this business if you value your time or vehicle. My car was brought here after I was rear ended. They have had my car for two months and is still not fixed. It has been such an unprofessional business I have no idea how they are still Mercedes, Volvo and Audi certified repair shop. It has been mishap after mishap from wrong parts being ordered to damaged parts out of the box to not replacing a muffler that they billed insurance $2200 for. We have been lied to and avoided. I have even filed a claim with Arizona district attorney. Their customer service is nonexistent and quite honestly I am fearful of the quality and safety of my vehicle. These guys are great! Did work that most shops couldn't do so well and for an extremely reasonable price. Talk to Jim McCune the lead estimator there. He helped so much and communicated with me the whole way through. Repairs to my door and rims only took about a week. Looks brand new again! Other shops estimated me an extra $100 dollars or so when autobahn included the rims with the repair for a price cheaper then it would have been elsewhere. Will recommend to anyone and will continue to receive my business from now on. read more

The easy thing to do is to write a complaint letter, this one is a mixture of good and bad, brought my wife's car to repair after she was rear-ended and needs to be fixed, and the service manager did not make me feel comfortable but since it was recommended by Mercedes Benz of Gilbert I did it anyway. I was told verbally it will take about two weeks, I did not receive any call or email for two weeks so I went to the shop and was told it was problems with the insurance responding to them to confirm authorization to repair, but after I talk to the GM I found that the service manager forgot to order the parts and was not the insurance fault, because originally I give then check and authorization from the insurance, time and time I find the SM was lying to me always blaming the insurance besides their advertisement claim everything will be taken care including dealing with the insurance papers that's the bad part, the good one is that whoever was the body shop worker did an outstanding job in repairing the car and the Receptionist/ secretary SHE did the fixing of the insurance papers very professionally when I was very upset about it the service manager job, I stand to be this comment true to the best of my recolletion of the incident. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Just got my car back after they had it for 2 1/2 months. That is correct months. No real explanation as to why it took so long just we're sorry. Get in my car and the drivers seat rocks like a rocking chair and the check engine light on. They took back to tech and was told seat seams fine but if I leave it they would look deeper. No you had it 2.5 months and you will not touch it. Drive it to Toyota and guess what seat is broken from accident. Don't take your car to this shop very poor and to top it off manager hasn't even contacted me once even though the guy handling everything was told I had enough and was going to have the car pulled to another shop. read more

They were confident, experienced and did their job with ease. I had Nicole as my estimator and she answered all my questions like she would work on my car herself. I went to a big brandname competitor prior and the estimator literally told me he wasn't sure how the technicians fixed it and he would have to ask them . When I got my car back from Autobahn, I couldn't even tell where the damage was. Once the insurance claim was made, Autobahn handled it all from there. When the work was done I literally left my rental car there, handed the keys over to them and walked away. I will only use Autobahn if I ever have Auto-body needs. I had to get my on car while they got word from the insurance if they were fixing it or not. Original post: I took my wife's Outback here nearly 2 years ago at the suggestion of my Subaru dealer. I was so impressed that when I needed work on my own car, I took it back to Autobahn. Let me tell you about my visit this month. First, their building is modern and minimalist. It creates a great first impression. When I walked in, I was greeted by Noel, who has been patient, approachable, and super helpful throughout the process. Mike then took charge by walking around the car and explaining to me what he recommended. He had a printed quote to me in minutes. The necessary work involved painting a portion of the front bumper cover. When I dropped my car off for the work, I asked Mike how much he'd charge me to go ahead and paint the rest of the bumper (which would be a bonus since insurance was only paying for part of it to be). He said he had overheard me with my insurance company that morning dealing with an oversight from them, so he'd paint the rest of the bumper for me FOR FREE! I'm so grateful because this will eliminate the ugly rock chips on the rest of my bumper cover. And frankly, I think Mike would've done this for me even without the insurance company hiccup. That's just the caliber of Autobahn Collision employees. It's a relief to find a trustworthy body shop. Add the professional and personable employees into the mix, and you've got the best body shop I've ever dealt with. Update: repairs took 2 weeks; the original estimate was 5 days. Mike did not spray the rest of the bumper; said it was a misunderstanding. Several imperfections in the paint which will require me to start the process again. Called back and Mike was cheerful and said he'd open a ticket. Do appreciate that level of professionalism, but I'm not nearly as thrilled with Autobahn as I was 2 weeks ago. Hopefully they can recover. Update: The manager, Bob, called me the morning after I picked up my car to introduce himself and tell me he understood there had been issues. We discussed them, including the miscommunication about throwing in the free bumper cover painting. Bob apologized and assured me they would make everything right. He even arranged for a Subaru through Hertz at my request. Really above and beyond! Got my car back in 2.5 days. Everything is resolved and looks fantastic! Rating 5 stars despite the original issues because I firmly believe a company demonstrates their worth by, not being perfect, but how well they recover when there's an issue. I'm more loyal to Autobahn Collision than before. read more
