Jack, David and the team at AutoAid are the BEST when it comes to auto mechanics. I was referred to them by others who had used them. We needed to get my husband's car serviced as all the electronics on the passenger's side were not working. It had happened once before back East. Jack's team were able to find the electrical problem and fix it. They then serviced my car for its 35000 mile check up and oil change. then my son's car had some major noise issues, we took the car to Jack and his team went to work and got the issues resolved. We found Jack and David to be very honest, knowledgeable, and respectful. They kept us informed about what they found that needed work. When I asked for some things to be done to my car, they wrote it down and later called me to tell what on my request list did not need to be done! WOW never have I had a mechanic tell me that something doesn't need to be done! After working with them I can see why they are certified female friendly, and why they have their AAA rating. I am not a fan of car problems. I am a fan of a mechanic who makes it easier when it's time to get service on my car. I actually found AutoAid on Yelp, and saw that it was approved by the AAA, so I decided to give it a try. Their customer service is top-notch, they run a very organized shop, and the waiting room is very clean and does not smell of engine oil or exhaust one bit. They even like to make sure you're comfortable-- "Is it too cold in here?" "Would you like a pastry with your tea?" They also offer all kinds of deals and coupons all the time and send you a cheesy joke by email just about every day. You get a little rewards card that racks up points for bonus service or other deals, with each dollar you spend there. Every time I go to get my oil changed, it does seem like there is some other service they want to offer you... but they do show you the evidence, and then you realize that you really had been neglecting that part of your car unawares. After all, it isn't good to go driving around with a filthy cabin air filter or nearly worn-down tires. Yes, it did end up being very expensive, but it will save me a lot of hassle and probably money in the long run. Per is the main guy I do business with when I go there. He's like an old-fashioned auto repairman, and he's serious about making sure the customer is happy. When I had to get a rental car, they helped me out by arranging for it. Plus, it was about 50% off Enterprise's usual daily rental price. I'd definitely recommend taking your car here for your next service. Matching my car paint color required a tricky three part process, using pearlescent and metallic paints, in addition to the base color. Needed to get my brakes fixed so a friend of mine suggested that I go here, as she had had a lot of work done on her old car before she got a new one. Made an appointment to get my car checked out (only "downside" to this place, for me, is that they aren't open on Saturdays, since my working schedule has weird hours), brought my car in, filled out some paperwork. David, the gentleman helping me out, was super nice and accommodating. Told me exactly what they were going to do and what would happen after they inspected my car. They didn't get around to checking my car until maybe 12:30pm (had dropped it off at 9:30am), but they were incredibly busy that day as it was the day before Thanksgiving, and I didn't have to be anywhere anyway so no big deal. They finally called me around 1:30pm and said what I needed to get fixed. Had to have my rotors and front brake pads replaced. They also mentioned the wear on my tires and advised me to get them replaced soon (just got the brakes fixed, though). They had estimated to have my car ready by the time they closed at 5pm, but actually finished it up an hour early and were even awesome enough to come pick me up to get my car. :) Total work done was around $450 (also had a tail light replaced and complete brake service [fluids, etc.]). They even told me they tried to fix my front license plate, but the part was broken, so...ha. DUCT TAPE! Overall, a great experience with Auto Aid. They didn't try to sell me on anything I didn't need and were very informative about the whole process. Would definitely bring my car back here for future repairs *knocks on wood* read more

A very professional and great body shop! Tony greatly exceeded my expectations for a body shop. My Scion look practically brand new as if I was never even in an accident. Tony was very helpful in explaining the whole process to me and how everything would be done along with doing his best to keep the price within a range that I could afford. He also kept me up to date with pictures and phone calls of how the car is doing and informing me what he'll be doing to the car the following days. All in all I have nothing but praise for this body shop. Yet another wonderful experience at AutoAid. I brought my car in and David got in the car with me for a quick ride so he could hear the squeaks and noises the car was making. While the car was being serviced, I broke out my laptop and used their wifi. Very comfy there. Squeaks Gone. Rattles Gone. Oil Change Done. Headlight lenses polished...and it all cost less than I had expected. Overall, a GREAT experience. David and company are preeminent mechanics. David, his father, and all of his associates are knowledgeable, communicative, and extremely personable. Best of all: They get the job done!!! I digress: I took my father's 1995 Ford Crown Victoria to AutoAid and Rescue after he had visited Vista Ford in Woodland Hills 3 times regarding light-dimming, voltage-dropping problems. Vista was completely unable to diagnose his problem. They charged him on his first 2 visits $80.00 apiece for failed diagnoses. They told him that no problems had presented, and that, therefore, they were unable to determine the source of his automotive difficulties. His car could not maintain lighting at night and on one occasion simply died while driving. On his 3rd visit, my father was met by a mechanic who couldn't even communicate intelligibly with him, so he (rightly) decided to leave. My father is 86 years old and really doesn't have the energy to go back and forth to a dealership which is so obviously unprepared to help him. During his first 2 visits, his car was kept at least 2 days at a time, and he had to rent a car at Hertz in order to transport my mother to the places she needed to be. Nobody from the dealership even cared to let him know how things were going. A lot of time and money were wasted, and my father was at the end of his wits. The car remained unable to be safely operated for over a distance of 5 miles without incident. On with the review: So, based on my son's recommendation, I intervened in the situation and took the car to AutoAid. I had no appointment, and brought the car to them at 4:00 PM on 12/29/14. They close at 5:00 PM, nevertheless the guys had the car in a bay and were looking under the hood by 4:30 PM, despite the fact that they had many other cars there. The next morning (12/30/14) they contacted my father with the diagnosis that he needed a new alternator, and a few other items that needed to be taken care of: dirty differential fluid, burned out rear window brake light, etc., all items my father always trusted Vista to find and point out to him. They finished all repairs that day. The car was fixed and runs like a champ. End of story. So, just cut to the chase when you have an automotive problem and go to AutoAid and Rescue. I will also be posting the text of this review on the Vista Ford Yelp page, so that others may benefit from this experience and my father's frustration will not have been in vain. read more

Well let me start by saying their customer service is great, but a little more than a week ago I took my truck to get inspected and left it there with them, We decided not to get it inspected by them the charge to get it looked at was $135 and I called David he said no worries come on in for your truck and so I did, my truck was parked outside on the side walk and latter on that day I realized my rim (wheel) was SCRATCH it wasn't a light scratch it was really scratched i don't park anywhere with a side walk I'm not gonna lie and say I've never scratched the wheels but dam that was a big damage done to my wheel I had just got hit S COUPLE MONTH AGO and that wheel was replaced with a new one so it had no scratch.
