Amazing service! Fair prices, transparency, friendly and honest service! Highly recommend!!

Family-run businesses are NOT dead. Oscar, his wife Ester, and their son proudly run this truly family-owned operation. If you're looking for a straight shooter when it comes to auto repair, Oscar is your guy. We were referred here by a reputable tire company over 25 years ago, and we've been coming back ever since--for oil changes, brakes, and everything in between. Cars, trucks, or any vehicle needs, they do it all. They have given us a great deal and now our daughter sends her vehicle there for service as well. Honest, reliable, and family-driven service like this is hard to find. It's Behind Chuck's Auto read more

Family run business Oscar & Ester, husband and wife and their son been there many years. I've taken my car there several times and Oscar is a straight shooter and very honest. Sometimes you have to be patient because a lot of people go to him and he's just a small garage. It's not in and out by any stretch of the means most of the time I saw a review on here complaining because they had to wait on their car part not Oscar's fault I would say. Can't say enough about this place. It's the only people I would trust, fair price's , great work ! He is very knowledgeable . read more

The only place we trust with our vehicles for over 10 yrs. No surprises or hidden charges. Quality work. Everything from oil changes and A/C flush to new engine, they got it covered. The owners Oscar and his wife Ester run their business with integrity. read more

I love this shop! I took my jeep into auto words thinking it was time for new brakes as i'm almost at 45k miles. I meet with Oscar, very nice man by the way, he says he'll inspect the brakes & call me with a estimate. So we head home & about 30 minutes later, he calls & says no need to do the brakes, you still have about 70% left. I'm shocked & really happy as money is so tight. This guy is so honest, another shop would have done the brakes & charged me & I would never have known. It's so nice to know there are honest guys like Oscar!! I hope this review will bring in new customers, this guy deserves all our support!! I walked away for 40.00 to cover the inspection. I was more than happy to pay! Thanks Oscar!!! read more

Went to have AC done on a Friday. Had my car a half day and said he needs to see if he can get a part. Will check now on Monday and call me with cost. Now I have to wait till Monday after having my car a half of day. . Monday came 109* day. Didn't hear anything . So Tuesday morning I call and get a women saying. He must be on a test drive. He will call you when he gets back. NEVER HEARD BACK AGAIN. Now it's Wednesday before I can get my car into another place. How he got 4.5 star is a joke: Thanks for messing me over. Wasting 5 days of my time before I was able to get my AC repaired in a 105-110 degree temperature. . Very POOR Customer service !!! read more

Autoworks is small garage run by Avery competent staff. I have gone there several times and the quality of work is excellent and at a very reasonable price. More often than not the quote is higher than actual. Focus is on quality vs fancy garage. I take my Audi A7 there and they take excellent care of it, read more

Very satisfied. I'm not used to getting quality care at an affordable price. As a BMW owner, I feel as if my auto care costs are rarely reasonable. Oscar (owner) seems very honest and quotes the job based on the work involved not the type of car one owns. Good experience, will use Autoworx again definitely. read more

We were also referred to this place by Discount Tires after the local Chrysler dealership said we needed four new tires (Discount said the tires were fine) and $1000 worth of repairs for leaking oil and transmission fluids. Auto Worx did the leak repair for less than one-third the cost, and it's been great ever since. It's a bit hard to find; it is next door but fortunately NOT a part of Chuck's Automotive. We will be back! read more

Recommended by American Discount Tire for alignment. Hard to find; the place is part of Chuck's but you have to drive around back. Then the comfy but Spartan waiting room is in Chuck's half of the building. Then you go pay in back at the other half of the shop. Whatever. It works. I had an appointment and spaced out. I showed up 2 hours later and still had my mini-van alignment done in just a little over an hour. read more

I was so surprised how rude this person treated me. I stopped by with an oil leak problem and the mechanic that helped me in putting oil refused my payment for the service he did. (adding oil) but he kept on ranting that my car was junk! I thanked him for the oil and told him I would be back. He answered: Not with this car! He sent me away like a stray dog.. read more

I've been taking my BMW's here for 4 years . Oscar and his wife are simply the best . Very fair and straight forward. A mechanic who is trustworthy and professional ! read more

My 2001 Ford Escape needs a lot of work, but Oscar is working with me, and seems like a totally honest individual, really glad I found him.

I hope I'm not putting this in to somebody else but I tell you what I have never had better service than what I've had with this mechanic. I would 100% love to say everybody needs to go to him but please make sure that he has time for me and the future. read more

We've been going to Oscar for nearly 20 years due to the quality of service received. The service has always been done well, quickly, and with honest evaluation. It's a family run business that treats it's patrons like family. It's important to us to have our vehicles well maintained providing a safe driving experience, and I know they are with Auto Worxs. read more

Took my vehicle here for repair. I knew the exact mileage on it before bringing it in and had this info written down. Picked it up two days later and noticed the low gas light was on which it hadn't been. Then I checked the odometer which showed that it had been driven 77 miles during the two days it had been at this shop. On top of this the repair was basically just bandaged over. The problem was not fixed and i ended up having to take it somewhere else where they actually fixed the issue and showed me what they had done. read more

Honest, decently priced, knowledgeable mechanics! I've came to AutoworX on several occasions for an alignment, changing out bushings, and routine maintenance. I'm super anal about who works on my car, and for me to be a return customer says a lot! Oscar is the man! He's straight up and honest in conducting business. His staff and office manager are also personable and friendly, working with a smile. The only Con for someone who's never been here is finding the place. Just like the other reviews state, it's located next to Chucks automotive, in the same building. Go there once, and you'll never have a problem locating the place again. read more

I've been taking my trucks here for years. Most honest and fair place. I once was having what I thought was a transmission problem. I was ready to buy and new tranny. I let Oscar ( owner ) know that I had the money in had and wanted him to find me the best transmission possible for my truck. I got a call 2 hours later telling me my truck was done and would only cost me 200$. Apparently my speed sensor was out. They could have took total advantage and made a good buck off me but they were honest and beyond fair. I've stayed a faithful customer ever since, and cannot complain about one thing at all. read more

Came here because I thought these people were honest and fair but I got the complete opposite. Over charged me for a service then came home to find there was something else wrong with it, a problem that didn't exist before. Took it back and said they weren't responsible for it. Wanted to charge me again! Said it was a big job and had to leave it another day. I left and took it to big O tires and they fixed it for FREE in less then an hour. Couldn't believe they wanted to scam me for more money after they were the ones responsible for the problem. Will never go back and don't recommend this place to anyone. It's hard to find an honest mechanic now a days. Regret going to them and paying that much n the first place. Don't let this happen to you! read more

Oscar and Esther run a great shop. Just had my van aligned with fantastic service. I could tell that Oscar has a lot of experience and I'll be back for my future auto needs. Thanks Oscar! read more

I have been using auto worxs for two decades. The work is done right the first time, and the prices are competitive. They work in foreign cars too! read more

This is the best place for car repair in the desert! I can't say enough about them. Yes, it's a bit hard to find, but once you do, don't go anywhere else! I was referred to Auto Worx by a friend, and I've told everyone I know to go there. Oscar and all the mechanics are fantastic. They are the most honest mechanics I've ever encountered. I've driven a lot of clunkers and a few great cars, too, so I've dealt with A LOT of mechanics over the years. Oscar always does a top notch job, for less than anyone else, and the work gets done exactly when promised. I've taken cars there when I'm considering a car purchase to get an honest opinion, and they never give bad advice. When one of my cars was about to croak and it was time to trade it in, they told me so. For minor problems, they didn't even charge me a couple of times. (They probably didn't want me to say that!) One time I was sure I needed brake work, so I took my car in and left it for the day. Within a couple of hours, Oscar called and told me I could wait another 5,000 miles or so and I could come pick up my car whenever I was ready. He took the time to explain what I had suspected, too. Other mechanics would have done the work and charged too much, even though I didn't need it yet. To me, that's an honest mechanic. read more

I'm pleased with the service we received when our car needed over $500 worth of repairs & replacements. I like supporting the local businesses rather than corporate so I'll be coming back here for sure. Thanks Oscar & crew! read more

In every encounter we have had they have proven to be honest and dependable. Work is always done in a timely matter and they have never over charged us. They offer us time options to drop off our car, if they are unable to do the work right way. We recommend them to everyone. read more

This auto shop was recommended to me from another business due to they were unable to preform the alignment needed for my vehicle. In and out in around an hour. It's an old school type shop. The young lady has her desk in the shop it self. Good price and fast. The employees are friendly and professionals plus courteous. She was professional and forward to the point and very nice. I recommend this place. Please support local and small businesses. Thank you. read more
