I have 2015 GMC Yukon Denali. Somehow my 9yr old placed the vehicle in "valet mode"! Obviously preparing for his future as a Treasure Hunter! However, I am not and never will be good at undoing codes or locks. First of all I did not know my car had a "valet mode" probably because I'm too cheap to use that service when available! Side note- when your vehicle is in valet mode you can only operate the vehicle up to 30mph and you have no power steering Yes, it was humbling to drive down I-205 in the slow lane being flipped off and passed in annoyance! This however Does remind me to be more patient with slow drivers! They may be suffering the same sentence handed down from their child! Ironically we were taking the vehicle to be detailed. I'm sure the owner thought we did not trust him or that I worked for the CIA and had an incredible amount of classified data on my media console.JK we were hurried and after a mini attempt to master "The unlocking of valet mode" I surrendered defeat and vowed to unlock it after it was detailed. The following day I picked up my car. I pulled out my owners manual to research valet mode. After an exhaustive futile search I admitted my powerlessness and called the dealer. They told me to call the general GMC customer support. As I am making calls I'm simultaneously trying to google my way into a code breaking revelation! After 4 department transfers Finally GMC suggested I call on star (no I don't have "on star" activated to answer your ?) but they assured me they could help as they oversee that portion of the vehicle. So I call "on star" and I am trying to hit the right number to get me to a human so I can have a 2-way conversation! Yet, all options seem to lead to a 1sided conversation and me being the only breathing option. Finally I am sent to a customer service agent and I'm like 8th caller in line! So I wait and keep googling and reading trying find the answer. Suddenly The hold music ceases and I began to hear an open line (yeah! ) and then click! I'm hung up on! Ughs! So I repeat this process. Finally I get to an incredibly helpful empathetic rep who tried earnestly to find an answer for me. Until finally I am the one saying "it's all ok I'll try a dealer again! I'm sorry you are are so sorry we don't have an answer!" At this point I'm beginning to realize their is obvious reasons they don't just give you this valet code! Dah! So I see most people had to take it to a dealer, wait for an appt and were charged around $200!! So I call Michael back at Auto Buick GMC dealership in Gladstone. First he says You are still working on that???? Yes it had been hours of my Saturday! He said bring the vehicle by now and I'll have one of my guys take a look at it. So I do and Michael literally gets me into and out of service in like 10min no charge! That service department is amazing! Thank you Michael and the service department, sincerely! You were my hero's on Saturday! read more

After I filed for bankruptcy, Auto Town GMC sent me a letter claiming they wanted to "help" me. At the time, I was deciding whether to keep my van or surrender it, and not one of my accounts was delinquent when I filed. Bankruptcy happens for many reasons. Mine was caused by serious health circumstances, not because I was irresponsible or unable to manage my credit. I own a credit repair business, so trust me, I understand exactly how credit works, and I will rebuild mine faster than most people would expect. Apparently, Auto Town's idea of helping was trying to put me into financing with an interest rate in the teens. They saw the word bankruptcy and assumed they could charge me an outrageous rate without considering my actual payment history or circumstances. This is where they made their mistake. Do not try to bamboozle someone who understands consumer rights and whose complaint game is strong. Do not send people sympathetic letters pretending you care and then present an offer that feels designed to take advantage of them during a vulnerable moment. That is not help. It is opportunistic, insulting, and some straight punk behavior. I kept my van, and I am glad I did not accept their so called assistance. I will also be filing complaints with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the Better Business Bureau because I believe this offer was predatory. Know who you are trying to play next time. read more

Title: Dishonest Service Department - Misled About Recall Reimbursement. Acadia . DO NOT trust the service department at this dealership. My experience with their service manager has been defined by broken promises and outright dishonesty regarding a safety recall. After paying out of pocket for a recognized manufacturer recall repair, I was assured by the service manager that the reimbursement paperwork was being handled and processed. Months later, GMC still hasn't received anything from this location, and the manager lied about actually submitting it. Instead of taking care of customer safety and honoring official recall protocols, this dealership takes your money and ignores follow-ups once you walk out the door. Save yourself the stress and deal with a location that operates with basic integrity. I will be escalating this directly to GM Corporate Customer Care. read more

Our salesman Nabel was great. He let us take as much time as we need and we finally decided on the 2026 3500 Denali Ultimate! We were so excited. Nabel went out of his way to help us transfer stuff and even unloaded our lumber into our new truck. It wasn't till we went to finance. That's where the deal almost ended. Kelli was pleasant until we declined the warranty. She offered it 3x but we just couldn't! We were already at the top of budget. Her whole attitude changed. Her snide comments and sighs were almost enough to send me over the edge. NO IS NO! Once I get. Twice maybe but 3x .. and then attitude.. We had a2 hour drive home that should have been exciting but it's all we talked about! Then we get a text. She sent us with the wrong paper. Now we have to deal with that! Simply because I think she was mad! Nabel.. he gets my 5 stars read more

Bought a pre owned vehicle from them. They decided to siphon the 1/8 tank of gas it had while" detailing" my car for pickup. Lol!

Second review two problems with this dealership work This dealership created 3 problems in one bad service cost just under 2,000$ to solve, couldn't just cost 690$ like the reputable dealership work ocean crest did, called the head manager of service said nothing helpful or useful wouldn't refund me it was spark plugs wire cylinder 3 which wasn't correctly installed after spark plugs, were finished with no reason for AUTO TIWN GMC to even replace them by miss diagnosis in the first problem with this vehicle ever But anyway cylinder 6 is not located near cylinder 3 its noT located near the same 6 misfiring which this dealership was saying it was spark plugs which cost 960$ at this dealership (which I felt fine to do if it fixed the problem) , the ignition coils are right on top of the spark plugs cost 690$ so the cylinder 6 misfiring(from ignition coils) was not from any bad spark plugs, it's even on a different side as 3 spark plug wire so the dealership that reputable did not AUTO TOWN GMC the work literally couldn't have touched the spark plug wire 3 cylinder because they are on opposite sides of the block So I had the same lights arriving to the dealership as I did driving back to the dealership passing the VP sigh turning around at the stop light before the VP gas station I had to buy my new ignition coils from a reputable dealer ship not the spark plugs like this dealership said and solved nothing but the spark plugs are what they recommend, for 960+$ then the problem was still this dealership unironically the dealership had put my spark plug wires in wrong then and one was loose to where it cam off so I brought it to a reputable dealership not this one, then told me the spark plug was loose then it was 260$ to diagnose then it was that I had a loose spark plugs and they did the repair for 8$ so this dealership when the replaced my spark plugs was the reason my spark plugs were installed incorrectly I then called GMC corporate then they said we can't do anything because anything improperly installed will or could cause a problem, but GMC corporate is also what keeps this dealership a dealership so after getting the run around about how GMC would only take care of warranty work not incorrectly installed parts by their techs I called the dealership saying they asked what's the problem I told them their techs didn't install my spark plugs wire correctly the spark plug have warranty, the wire incorrectly installed does not, asked for the 268 for the dealership to find out the problem then to charge me only 8$ over the diagnostic that most only GMC dealers have, They said they would pay for it and would do it for free but why would I take the car back to them! When it's done and why would I know that it's my spark plugs wire installed incorrectly!!! So they got my to spend 960+$ then managed to do that with all the lights still coming on the less then 5 miles down the road, then managed to even install them incorrectly then they, wouldn't chip into the other dealerships work for the 268$ of the plugged in correctly spark plug wire So the dealership (the reputable one)that fixed the ignition coils for 690$ was the dealership that fixed the spark plugs wire not this one AUTO TOWN GMC DEALERSHIP it was spark plugs wire cylinder 3 which wasn't correctly installed after spark plugs, its noT located near the same 6 misfiring which this dealership was saying it was spark plugs which cost 960$ at this dealership, and the ignition coils cost 690$ so the cylinder 6 misfiring, it's even on a different side as 3 spark plug wire so the dealership that reputable did the work literally couldn't have touched the spark plug wire 3 cylinder because they are on opposite sides of the block read more

I had my 15,000 mile service on July 1, 2025, on my little Buick Encore. I was beyond shocked to discover my minimal service cost $960.00 for service that took a little over an hour. And it only took that long because it had to wait to be washed. All that I had done beyond the regular maintenance tune-up service was to add new wiper blades. I can honestly say I will NEVER bring my Buick to this dealership again. The cost was beyond obscene. The clerk who helped me admitted it was due to tariffs. Also, the Buick Rewards program was a joke. When I amassed enough points, I ordered floor mats. They sent the wrong item. I took the mats, still enclosed in plastic with my name and order information on it. I took it back to the counter in the waiting room, and the man working at the parts counter refused the floor mats, said I needed the box to complete the return. He was very hostile and unhelpful. Much to his anger, I found the box and brought it in. Reluctantly, he said he would restore my points and reorder the corrects mats. He never ordered the mats and never restored my points. These are the worst in the business. I live near Seattle but I had called on a truck at their dealership and once they confirmed they had it, I said I was on my way. I texted three times on the way down, even asking if I could give them any information over the phone to speed up the purchase process. When I arrived, they were in the middle of selling the vehicle to another party, saying it was 'first come, first serve'. They weren't even apologetic. Awful people with zero character. I see from their other reviews here that this seems to be consistent. If you want an absolutely terrible experience, call Johnny Martinez or his sales manger Ahmed because they will make sure you get it. read more

If you're looking for a trustworthy dealership, go see Tony Runyon at Auto Town GMC in Gladstone! I bought a pre-owned vehicle from out of state and was a little nervous, but Tony made the whole process easy and transparent. He was super responsive and honest--no games, just a straight forward and fair deal. I flew into Portland, picked up the car, and drove it home without a hitch. Kelli in finance was also amazing--so kind and efficient, and she helped me with an extended warranty without any pressure. In all my years of buying cars, this was one of the smoothest and most pleasant experiences I've had. Highly recommend! read more

Ryan the sales man was very nice and accommodating, but his higher ups would not let my husband take the car on a test drive or scan for codes even if someone was supervising. The person that reviews my husband's car did not know how to drive a stick and lied to him about gear and sink row damage and ended up damaging the clutch. read more

I would avoid this dealership at all costs. On 9/9/2025, my employer and I purchased two new vehicles. He bought a 2025 Diesel 3500 at the tune of $80k, and I bought a 2025 1500 for $44k. Everything was great until the next day 9/10/25, I noticed a dent and paint blemish on the hood (see photos). The photo with my hand in it is the next day. Naturally, I was bummed out as this is a brand new truck with 70 miles on it. However, the picture with the whole truck in it was taken before I bought the pickup. If you zoom in, you can clearly see the dent. I contacted Brian my salesperson, and I brought the truck into the dealership. At that, they performed a subpar painless dent removal. It removed some of the dent, but in the process, it spider cracked the clear coat, which will cause the clear coat to fail prematurely. I reached back out to Brain multiple times because he kept blowing me off. He finally followed up yesterday 9/24/25 after talking to his boss, and they have taken the stance that they won't do anything else to fix the pre-dented new vehicle they sold. I called the dealership twice yesterday, asking to speak to the sales manager, and I was supposed to receive a call yesterday, but again, I was blown off. I'm shocked by this decision. They had a chance to be heroes and they are choosing to be zeros. I reminded Brain that on 9/9/25 my employer and I spent $124k on vehicles that day, and my employer had previously spent $109k on a Denali Ultimate there in 2019 for a total of $233k in sales between the two of us, and they still won't own it and fix the dent. This has also cost them another sale on a 2026 Denali Ultimate that my employer was going to purchase to replace his 2019. The logic behind this decision makes no sense. They have turned this $1000 repair into a $100k loss in sales. I will be contacting GMC corporate, and I will be filing a case with Arbitration of Portland. read more

Terrible service experience. They'll take your appointment, but will not honor it. I made a 10 AM appt for a simple "2-3 hour service", and after not hearing anything, checked back at 3:30 PM. It took an escalation and another employee to go check and sure enough- they didn't do anything. Avoid this place. read more

BUYER BEWARE I am interested in new a GMC... Looking at their website they say "... Prices do not include dealer installed Perm Plate $1295, Star Guard $495. $150.00 dealer doc fee. ... Subject to additional dealer markup, if any. ..." $1295 + $495 + $150 = $1940 in junk fees (industry slang for low customer value and high dealer profit add-ons). The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), the federal agency that protects consumers, says "Junk fees impede competition by making it difficult for families to shop around based on the actual cost of a product or service." Personally, I will NEVER do business with a company which uses excessively priced FORCED / NON-OPTIONAL add-ons like this, because in my OPINION, a reputable dealership negotiates their profit within the sales price of the car not low value forced items, making price comparisons between dealers transparent. In my OPINION, dealers like this give a bad name to car sales. read more

We recently visited the dealer and found them to be super easy to work with and relaxed. I appreciate the time Paul (salesperson) spent with us and feel like I had good value in my purchase. Dealerships that are casual and easy to work with reduce the stress in car buying and appreciate the conversation about what is fair for me while realizing that they also have to stay in business. This wholesome approach in the industry has long been lost and want to recognize them for being transparent and honest. Given my experience I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to someone who is interested in a GMC or Buick. read more

Not friendly to our active duty military. Less than impressed with there customer service and accommodations with active duty personnel. I've talked to three different salesman over the span of two weeks. The first salesman Marcos never replied to me after he reached out to me for questions. The second salesman Reymon instead of answering any questions told me to fill out a credit application and said after I filled it out he would answer questions. The last salesman Javi was the most helpful but when I asked if they would accommodate a tax exemption afforded to military members, his general manager refused to even consider accommodating. It's frustrating that this dealership refuses to work with our military members that protect their ability to have a business. ***Reply to Chris H.*** I never claimed to want a tax exemption through Oregon and was very clear with my intentions to register the vehicle in Washington from the beginning. The link below explains the tax exemption I AM entitled to but this dealership was unwilling to work with me on. I was very fair in my review and I am extremely disappointed that instead of apologizing to a military member for their extreme disregard instead attack that member for complaining. Buyer can read the below reference that was provided to the dealership and make their own determination. I see why Auto town has such a low yelp score. Took my GMC Terrain diesel in to have the transmission serviced, and to find out why the check engine light was on. They told me my turbo had a hole in it, and that it would be $6,300.00 to fix it. I had another diesel mechanic look at it, and it was the DEF sensor. I ordered the part, and its fixed. Was told the brakes were 4%, LesSchwab said I have about 50% left. I'll never suggest Auto Town to anyone. read more

After having a great purchase experience on a used car here it has turned into a very unpleasant waste of my time trying to get my extended warranty balance refunded. I've been trying for a YEAR!! I've dealt with at least 3 or 4 sales managers during that time too. Car was bought through their Bridgetown sister store which apparently they aren't affiliated with anymore but it was a GM extended warranty that I was told only they could refund by Bridgetown. Nothing but the runaround I've gotten trying to get a refund. read more

Be careful, the listed prices on Carfax and their own website are incorrect. 1800 in unadvertised add ons were suddenly there when we sat at the table after our test drive. I had a service appointment scheduled and the shop called to reschedule due to the heat. Then they called to reschedule again because they changed the hours of operation. On the third time, after I dropped off my vehicle, they called me 3 hours later and said they wouldn't be able to work on it. They didn't even look at it to diagnose the issue. All of this was to repair a job that they had done incorrectly 6 months ago. I guess since they had to stand behind their work and there was no income involved, the customer doesn't matter any more. 1st of all, bring a rape whistle because you are going to need it. I felt I could trust them, and that they were being honest and straightforward with us. I realize dealerships need to buy low and sell high, and that is how sales work. We were told over and over they would have to wholesale our low mileage Subaru as it wasn't "their market", they said they had gotten some bids and that they were X amount and they would have to sell it to another dealer. All B.S. this place is everything wrong with car sales!!! That evening, they had our car listed on their website for nearly twice what they paid us for it. They will lie up one side and down the other to you, and they're quite convincing and deceiving. The lady that worked the F&I desk is a grouchy piece of work, and maybe she hates it there as much as we learned to. If you go there to look, remember to go somewhere else and shop them both on your trade-in and your purchase. Most importantly, remember that if their mouths are moving, then they are likely lying. If this helps anyone looking to buy a used 2013 Forester XT with 27K miles on it just know that they have marked it up 10,000.00 over what they paid! read more

So the first time I purchased a truck I went to bridge City. It was easy peasy & Ben was super helpful. Which is why I came back to Ben to get a 2nd truck & he gladly helped me out. He ended up bringing a truck back from there sister lot (Auto Buicks) from down the street. I fell in love and signed the papers. Put half the down payment & was told repeatedly by the same people, that I'd have 28 days to bring the rest. Ok, cool. They kept it for the day to detail it etc since they had just got it that day. The next day I picked it up around 530pm and not even 15min down the street the engine light goes on and it starts shaking. I live in tillamook & they were closed (6pm) so if I had of gotten stranded, I would have been screwed. Luckily, once I let it rest it was fine. Brought it in a few days after since I worked & they took it from me to take to the dealership mechanic, brought it back and said to bring it in Monday since it was Friday & almost closing time. It needed a tune up, so I agreed & went on my way. Came in Monday & they pulled the codes AGAIN & told me they'd call me back for the results the next day? Never heard anyone pulling codes & saying they'd get back w/you.. but ok. I told them they had already said it just needed a tune up, but I was told they'd call. Fast forward to Wed & still nothing about my trucks codes, however my bank account ended up $300 in the hole because they decided to pull out the other half of the down payment before the 28 days we agreed AND signed on. I was not told anything about it before hand nor was I at least given a heads up. They refunded it yet told me they'd take it out on Friday. Then when I asked the same person who had told me about the 28 days why it was due Friday when clearly the 28 day mark is in Dec??? All she could say was, "it must have been a miscommunication error." Clearly baby lol.. clearly. Shout to Dawn for that "miscommunication". Fast forward to today & now my semi new truck is absolutely not running after I had repeatedly bugged and bugged about my truck having an engine light on. Every time I called or went in I either got codes ran with a, "Will call you when we pull the codes and know what's wrong." Or, "We don't have time to look at your truck cause we're booked out for 2 weeks..". I finally had had it and went to Ben to ask for help. He had called GMC to tell them to call me and set an appointment. She called and told me to just "put it on the side" and not drive it? Ma'am, then what can I drive? Because I got this specifically TO drive lol. Then when I told her I have work, school and a child to take places she said, "Run it to 106 and when it his 106k miles call and we'll fit you in????". Now it's not even close to 106 and my truck is completely out of service. Y'all need to get your shit together, no offense but offense. If I buy a new truck with low ass mileage on it. I expect it to run longer than a few months. Now I have a truck payment coming up for a truck that doesn't work. How does that even make sense? I'm definitely coming in to speak to someone about the shitty experience & am thinking about taking further action if I don't get any kind of help that I should have gotten in November of 2021. I'm never going to this place and 10/10 would never recommend. But good luck ! read more

I'm sad i can't adjust my review to zero stars. Some employees here need an attitude adjustment. They dont have the decency to return calls or follow through on promises- even when you call them politely and leave multiple messages for them. But when they want something, they have no problem leaving a nasty voicemail with a snarky attitude and veiled threats even when it seems THEY have been calling the wrong number for weeks. The owner should probably send some of these employees into timeout so they can think about what they've done. I'd never do business here again, and I'd never recommend anyone do business here either. read more

Went there to check out the new vehicle that's listed on the website. They have construction going on and parking is nowhere to be found. Finally found a spot, sales rep greeted us and asked what we were looking for. Told him what I was interested in, told me that its park in the back. After 10 minutes or so, he came back and said the owner's wife is driving the vehicle. He asked when I can make it back and I let him know that I'm not sure. Why list a "new" vehicle when someone is driving it. I understand that if a vehicle isn't register and the owner is driving with the dealer plates, it's still considered new. BUT really? We didn't buy a vehicle from Auto Town. We did a couple test drives and then sat down to negotiate our trade in for their vehicle. Have you ever noticed how car salesmen always price their vehicle at the top of blue book and the value you're offered is so low it's not in the book? That's what to expect from this place. Even Carmax offered to pay more in cash than Auto Town which we didn't need to do because there were a couple other dealers in the same area offering better trade-in values. read more

1.) The salesman led me to believe that having a "moderate" Carfax report on the truck I purchased was no big deal. But actually it makes the resale of that vehicle much more difficult. And I believe I paid to much for it seeing as that was the condition I purchased it in. 2.) I cancelled the extended auto warranties I purchased on this truck, and another car. On the truck warranty the finance team sent the check to me, so it then had to be cancelled and re-issued to my lender. This took about 10 weeks when they tell you 8 weeks in the max amount of time it should take. On the car, well it is now week 13, and I have yet to receive that refund. 3.) I've filed a complaint on the Better Business Bureau to address the missing refund check. read more

Talked to a salesman on Monday to look at what was advertised as a new 2017 Buick Lacrosse. We arrived at the agreed to time and he was on a telephone conference call. He apologized and said he completely forgot about the appointment. Another salesman helped us out, unfortunately the "new" car we were interested in was actually a loaner for the service department. The car had just left the dealership as a loaner. Their website offers four "New" 2017 Lacrosse's for sale, in actuality all four have been used as demos, loaners or personal cars for the owners. These "new" cars have between 11k to 20k miles. Either the car is new or it is used, either it is for sale or it is not. I understand if you could find that vehicle in your area for that cost than you would not be contacting me I have it here that is the cost of the car if you do not like the cost of the car what it is at right now then move along because no really rhyme or reason is valued at what made us car power and carfax and Kelley Blue Book says that it is. Derrick: If I do hear from you by phone I be happy to talk to you if I don't then good luck in finding your car Me: First mistake was to think I'm some idiot. FMV is not determined by KBB of carfax or any other one place and there is rhyme and reason to it. As a salesman you should know this. Second was to sound like one yourself, did you even try to read back your own message? Holy cow son! So yeah we're actually in the same area and market but whatever. Interested... yeah I'm interested. Whats the address of your store? I'll come down and have a look at it myself. I'll give you a chance to convince me it's really worth a thousand over top end fair market value. 2010 RaliArt go for 9700 to 9900 for a hundred miles around us. but there currently aren't any electric blue near by. Not much to see from the select few pix supplied other than a sagging exhaust system. and a curbed front valance. Also curious where the reverse camera display is located... If I don't hear from you than at least I have an interesting tale to post to yelp reviews. 3:04AM (note the time of his reply) Derrick: Sorry I have been with my family. And I would appreciate it if you didnt threaten me about my job sir. And please do not start something that you will lose at. I c as n do the s as m ed thing to you but I am not petty and childish to a point where if I dont get my way I am going to slam d.c. e someone like a true troll. Now I am sorry again but the price is what the price is. You dont like the price t gf an you dont have to buy it. That simple. And you want me to talk you into this car. Why you as re the one that contacted me not me contacting you. And you have alredy talked yourself out of buying the car. And I will not accept the offer that you will be low balling me. Unless you're offer is the price that was originally on the post. So again I wonder why sir would I want to help someone that doesnt want to be helped but just to start a posting match( and clearly out of the 2 of us I am the Alpha) I would much r as there h et l a person that wants to be helped with the actual help of buying s vehicle. New you can continue this little kid w as y of saying I dont have the money for the car or the credit for the car. And since I can't buy it I am going to throw a tantrum as nd lie on social media as bout who knows what you will fathom out of thin air. So again sit with all that being said I will still be willing to Help you with the purchase of your pre-owned Mitsubishi Lsnce Rali-art gorgeous car. .just call the number I gave you on the previous msg I wrote before whatever that reply was. I look forward to be haveing a phone conversation with you and possibly get to speak with your llife partner. Sorry th so late but first chance I was able to write back I am out of town with the family for a family emergency. Again sorry for the time frame of this but family comes before you Call me and I c as n answer all your questions. - End text - So now towards the end, there are so many grammar errors that I truly have no idea what it is he's on about but I did understand that he wasn't going to help me with my questions because he determined that I didnt really want help. I deduced from his text that I'm a liar and a troll without money or credit, incapable of buying this car. Referring to my partner inferring homosexuality is involved (that could just be my read but there's no room for that kind of unprofessionalism in any industry). And I'm out of room!!! read more

I take back my first review. This place is unprofessional. They will make you believe everything is cool, let you drive off the lot with a car and then call you later to say that the bank won't approve your loan. Then they will call you again to resign and then they'll say just kidding a second time and finally tell you that you need a co signer. Then you'll find a co signer and go sign a third time. And then they'll hire new people that will shred your paper work so then you'll have to go sign again. They'll blame you for all of it and threaten to re po the car they said you were approved for. Very rude, unprofessional and not very accommodating to people who want to build their credit. read more

I wish you could give negative stars. I bought a brand new GMC Sierra 1500 SLT at this dealership. It was a 2018 that I purchased in 2019. Great deal by the way. It started when I picked up the vehicle. They gave me a newbie to show the basics of how the truck operates (all the bells and whistles). he spent about 5-10 minutes and sent me on my way. No big deal, I can read. Then it was time for my complimentary oil change. i scheduled an oil change, brought it in for the appointed time and 3 hours later it was finished. That was a little irritating, but hey, sh#t happens. Brought it in the second time same sh#t different day. now I'm more irritated but decided I'll just assume they suck at scheduling and compensate by dropping the truck off riding with my wife and they can call me when it's finished. Thus avoiding the pitfalls of scheduling my day around their service departments ability to hold to a schedule. Then it happened, I started having transmission issues. (turns out GMC made a shitty transmission that year) . No problem I'm still under warranty. I scheduled an appointment and brought it in. Long story short they reprogramed the transmission, it's worse than it ever been. i also ordered the navigation upgrade ( a disk that upgrades the maps in the GPS) . Not only did they try to charge me 50% more than its offered for on the GMC website . they made me pay for it when they didn't have it in stock. I told the service manager I'll pay him when you finish installing it. He insisted I pay and that he would call me when it came in, he said about two weeks max. TO MONTHS LATER I call the service department and ask if the navigation disk is in, he acted as though he had no idea what i was talking about, and asked me if I thought it was in the parts department ( how the hell would I know. At that moment I made up my mind I was going to write a review about my experience at Auto Town Buick. He came back on the phone 5 minutes later and said it's here you can pick it up at the parts department. I paid for them to install it but it looks like I'm doing it now. There is so much more I could talk about but it makes me sick that I have spent my energy and time giving this brief accounting. I buying a new HD Denali this year and i promise it won't be at Auto town Buick GMC. They can suck a fat hotdog! read more

I'm at a loss here. We purchased a 2017 F150 in September, and just found out that the engine needs to be completely replaced. Luckily we did purchase the "warranty" which is through Ally. We initially brought the vehicle in because the check-engine light was on. Not a huge deal, as it was a vapor sensor that needed to be replaced. During their inspection they found that the head gasket was leaking. Their shop in not equipped to handle that, so they referred me to their sister location in Newberg. (I live in Gresham) brought that in on March 17th 2023, and they determined that the engine needed to be replaced. After weeks of back and forth with Ally it got approved, but now they can't get an engine for 6-9 months. I feel like I'm bent over a barrel here. Everybody wants to play the blame game, all the while I've been without a vehicle for over a month and now I'm told this. Not a great experience with this dealership, their warranty, and the Newberg Ford. read more
