Every time I go there, I always tell myself I'm not going back. Well yesterday was my final confirmation. A car wash that's only open 8-4 Monday-Saturday is ridiculous. Most people work 8-5. Such a bad business model for customers.

The website says they close at 5:00 so I left work early to get there in time. I pulled in at 4:26 and they told me they were closed. More than 30 minutes before the posted closing time! Judging from the number of reviews that speak to this and the fact that when I call the manager line, it goes to voice mail, I can only assume that they don't care. I have gone to the auto spa since it opened. This may be the last time. First, I was told there was no longer a dazzle club discount. Then, after going through a central avenue wash, my wheels were poorly cleaned and the tires were not dressed. How can you simply ignore the wheels and tires? That is what I paid for! read more

What an expensive waste of money. The line took over 45 minutes and that was just for the outside. They barely dried my car so there were marks all over, probably could have gotten a better wash for $6 at a gas station. Also, the owner was standing outside being totally rude to his customers. He even banged on my window and told me I was holding up traffic and to move my car. Would never go back there again. I have been going to AutoSpa for a VERY long time. I have always appreciated their attention to detail and the level of customer service. WHAT HAPPENED! Went there today to have my car cleaned for $35. OK, get the inside cleaned and vaccummed, worth it. Come to find out when I get home they didn't even clean the back seat! Well same on me for not checking. So, I called to tell them and they offer to reclean it today or tomorrow. Sorry I don't have time and I needed it cleaned for an even tonight. This place is horrible i went twice just to give them a second chance. I got the $20.00 exterior only wash. Both times my wheels are still dirty they didnt clean the lower part of the car. Both times i went home and had to clean the wheels and all the spots they missed. This place is more concerned with getting you out quickly rather than doing a good job. Paid $41 for full interior and exterior package and left with bug residue, foggy windows, water spots, dusty dash and only half of the tires shined. I pulled in and was directed the wrong way because they were closing an hour early (which they do often even though they advertise staying open till 5) so I drove the way the guy told me and a worker called me a jackass because apparently he directed me the wrong way. Do not go here. I've been burned three times by this place. They do a terrible job. $30 and the cup holders were not wiped, still bugs on the front bumper and dirt on the rockers. If you're a soccer mom with a car full of cheetos it may be worth it but it you want a good car wash it's a waste of time and money. Go get a $10 gas station wash and vaccum your own car and you'll get the same result in half the time for 1/3 the money. I should have known by all the other people asking for stuff to be re-done. Well to start with, I used to work here and even then I didn't let any of the people inside the tunnel touch my car, I would rather do it myself. Don't bother wasting your time unless you get the full service and even then there's not much difference. The only difference is that at the end of the service there's a guy who will touch up on the car and you can tell him what you need. The manager and cashiers are liars, they've told customers that the box concerning the tips are all split up evenly; however, I know its not true. Cool, so now not only have the customers been lied to, I have to pick up after 20 people who refuse to do the job properly even when repeatedly told. If you keep going to this place its because you don't care much for quality of work. That or your car is already clean. Also, if you go anytime around lunch, don't expect anything at all unless you're gonna tell the guy who hands your keys back to you what you wanted done. I've honestly never felt bad enough to leave a bad review anywhere, but I had to make sure that this word got out because I have never been this disappointed in a business. read more

I like to get my cars washed about once per week and have been to many of the northern Baltimore County car washes. Auto Spa is the best I've used. The concept of moving the car via conveyer floors makes the process relatively quick. When the workers in the tunnels are on the ball, you probably cannot get a better car wash. However, sometimes they rush, but the job is still good, just not as good as it can be. I usually get the "Shinning Tire" wash package which includes inside and out and tire shine. When I splurge on the "Wax Works" package (same as "Shining Tire, plus an application of hand rubbed wax), I ALWAYS have to ask the person I turn my keys over to have the person applying the wax to spray the entire car. If left unchecked, the guy applying barely puts on the wax, and never gets the roof. Aside from that, the only other complaint is that their hours are sometimes inconsistent. Bottom-line is that they do a better than average to a great job and I would recommend anyone get their car cleaned here. read more

Just got back from the auto spa and I paid 29.00 to wash my minivan. The woman in front of me was called to pick up her van. As I wait for my van I notice her grab some cleaner and start cleaning the inside. There was a rush of employees and grumbling and they started to clean her interior. I was a bit apprehensive to see the inside of my van. My mats still had sweet and sour sauce stuck in the mats. The back seats had not been wiped down and had dust in the seat belt areas. The drink holders were still dirty also. I thought about stopping them as well but there was so much anger over the last woman I decided to finish the job at home and promise myself never to go back. read more

Today i went to Auto Spa to have my car cleaned as i have done for the past several years. Waiting for an hour which is the norm on a busy day was not a problem. I had paid to also have my tires cleaned. When the person who was finishing my car called for me he told me i had a nail in my tire. I found it odd that he would clean the tires when the nail was sticking in the sidewall about an inch out, it was dangerous. I left and drove directly to have my tire looked at. By the response from the experts that looked at my tire they said my tire would have to be replaced, they also told me the nail just happened because very little air had come out of the tire and they originally weren't sure it was leaking until they tested it. Auto Spa was the only location i drove to today which is only minutes from where i live. I had not driven my car previously for the last several days as it was in my garage so if i had this nail in my car for several days i would have had a flat by then and i would have noticed it since it was very visible. The tire experts said it was doubtful that i ran over the nail because it was in the side and didn't hit the ground when it rotated. I called Auto Spa and spoke with the mgr. I was of course concerned and upset. I started by telling him i could not prove this and then told him the story. The manager was the most disrespectful person i have ever spoken with. He had no regard for my plight but instead went in to defense mode saying that he doesn't hire crooks and criminals. He told me his people don't have time to jam a nail into a tire ( the nail was not jammed it was poking out over an inch in the side). Based on his complete disrespect for my call i would not give him my name and i did not trust him based on his harsh manner towards me. I then asked for his information which he told me he would not give me then hung up. i couldn't believe that a business mgr would have such little regard for a customer. I manage a much larger workforce than this smaller operation and i understand that you don't want to tell a customer on the phone something about your employees which is understandable but it was his complete disregard for my problem as a customer that prompted me to write my first ever review. I have used this car wash since it opened like many new places it starts off great and then bag in the crapper the last three visits I have had to return first they did not get the dirt off the grill it was just a little mud then they are not completing the job I paid for the tires service today the only did the tires on the passenger side when I even rolled down the window asked the attendant and was told they were done I know I did not see them do them sure enough when I got home I found I was right so I returned only to be told to park in the front and someone would do them I noticed a few other cars there all with complaints I probably not going back to only waste my time it should have been done the first time the attendant said I should always just pull in park and check before I leave no thanks that is it for me read more

Paid for the top car wash for interior and exterior, didn't wipe down many of the spots I paid for, didnt vacuum trunk when specifically asked if it was done. Get home after an hour at the car wash and find all these mistakes and mgmt. could care less. Auto Spa used to do an excellent job, but the quality and customer service is going down the drain. Paid $41 for the Wax Works this past weekend, my SUV is still dirty and you have to stay on top of the workers on everything. They never vacuumed the trunk, and didn't clean the roof of the SUV. I didn't notice the roof until we got home and I opened the sunroof screen. When I called and spoke to a manager, she was dismissive and rude and acted like she was doing me a favor. Management/ownership used to be visible here, but customer service is now often a crap shoot. It's a shame, because I don't mind paying a little extra to get the job done right.... read more

Thanks Auto Spa. I paid 15$ for a simple wash and interior vacuum. Instead I got a half vacuum and a bad wash. Why couldn't you open up the rear hatch and spend at least a minute of your time vacuuming? Interior vacuum means all of the interior right? DO NOT GO HERE! They scratched the piss out of my car, both sides had multiple scratches down both sides, ridiculous. I am positive these scratches were not there before. Besides the scratches, I asked them specifically to clean my rims, they were still filthy, they have a pile of people cleaning my car all at once, you would think that it would be spotless. What a place; The Auto Spa. They have all of the right aspects of a top notch car wash, but lack execution at delivering the good. I have taken my truck here about six times, and each time I think they will finally get it, but they just do not. Today, my wash was a inside and out, with tire shine and wax in two seperate applications. The last two times, I ordered the same service, but this time, I actually watched the staff actually clean my vehicle. They never applied the wax that I paid for, and missed multiple spots on the car which still had dirt on it. Everytime I go here, I seem to have to finish the car myself once I get home, which should never happen at a place set up for success like this place. After my vehicle came through, the last cleaning crew, or finishing crew touched up my car and handed me the keys. I went back over and asked the manager on the floor where the wax ws applied to my vehicle. She stated at the begining of the final cleaning process. I told her that the wax was never applied, and she seemed to no care at all. Honestly, I cleaned my car for an hour today after I got back home from the Auto Spa. Needless to say, I think I gave my last dollar to this company. They look like a Mercedes, but drive like a Yugo. Unfortunately for them is the fact that I do not know anyone who likes this place if they truly value the cleanliness of their vehicle. This place is such a rip off. I don't understand why people wait in long lines for mediocre at best wash at high price. I paid $39 for what turned out to be a very basic wash. When I asked if they wipe down dashboard or Armor All it, they said they don't use Armor, but rather a conditioner. BUT, that only comes with a detail for more than $100. I don't remember exact price. When I pointed out areas that hadn't been touched, like around the inside where the back hatch door lifts up, they said that's done through a detail as well. When I said that the wash seemed overpriced, the manager told me "well, we have 15 people working on your car and have to pay them." Of course, my response was that I don't care about their payroll, I want a decent car wash for the money. I will not return to this car wash. Had the car washed last weekend. There was no line so there was no waiting. Asked for interior and exterior. After arriving home I discovered that one wheel on the passenger side had not been touched, it was as filthy as before and the panel on the passenger door below the molding was still very dirty. This isn't the first time I have been very disappointed in the Auto Spa but this last time was a lesson well learned.....I won't be back! I have driven here 3 times in the past week and they have been closed during their normal operating hours. When I called today to ask if they were open I was told yes but not sure until what time. Apparently customer service is not important to the Auto Spa manager as no one would pick up the phone or return a phone call. I paid $39 on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 to have the special of the day done on my CRV. The outside service on the CRV was fine. The inside service was poor. I bring my car in reasonably clean and totally clutter free. As I was away Wednesday through Friday, the CRV was parked on my driveway. Only when I drove it today (Saturday, July 1) did I become aware that the front window had not been cleaned at all and there was a leftover film all over it. I had already taken a paper towel and cleaned around the trunk door, but to clean the window is a difficult task for me as I am 78 years old with Parkinson's disease. read more

I have come here for years. It was once rated the Bestcar wash in the Baltimore area. Something changed in the last 2-3 years. They stopped using machine sprayed water as you enter. One guys walks around with a power washer. He never got the top of my SUV and I paid 2 extra dollars on exterior car wash bcz my new car is an SUV. Sometimes they have forgotten the rain X and once the soap. Today there was still dirt above my hatchback and a whole 5 inch section on the side body was not cleaned. You would think the 8 people who dry the vehicle after the wash would catch the missed areas and remedy the miss. I am so disappointed since I used to look forward to coming every two weeks. Brand new car, second visit to Auto Spa with the new car ... I never complain because nothing is perfect or maybe it was just a bad day and when I return everything is OK but, sometimes, I have no choice .... with Auto Spa there are many bad reviews and there is one in particular that said 5 years ago Auto Spa was a great place, which I agreed, but now it is a waste of money ... what happened ?? Well basically what happened was when they opened they had these individuals actually inspect the job before the car was returned to the customer. Now, there is no inspection. That being said, I have had very poor results for the money and this isn't a recent observation, it's been over several years myself. So Today I actually paid for the 30 dollars package because I wanted my window cleaned and since the windows are not included in the low end package, I buy the 30 dollar package and add an additional 8 dollar tip, why ... because I specifically asked for extra attention on the windows inside and out - I specifically asked for this ... specifically. Again, very poor job on the windows ... very annoying, so before I complained here, I navigated to their website and read there packages that are available. All packages that include the windows inside and out says they only "Wipe" the windows ... hmm ... basically tricked me!!! You see, I specifically asked for the windows to be cleaned NOT wiped and the intake person specifically stated that I had to purchase the 30 dollars package to get my windows ... had this intake person stated that they only wipe the windows inside and out then I would have opted out of the 30 dollar package and stuck with the low end package; very frustrating, very annoying. I would give zero stars if I could because you are tricked into thinking you are buying a service, paying extra for it, then not receive what you pay for. So why tip ??? Very annoying. I will make a personal visit today 9/27/19 and bring up my concern to management about value and money but it will be my last visit because I wanted to make sure that what was going on was what was going on. Also there is one person who makes these statement that if you want you car DETAILED to pony up the 100 dollars and have your car detailed ... obviously this person has no understand of the value of money. A 30 dollar car wash should yield an exceptional job to include your windows ( actually cleaned ) inside and out ... no exceptions. So I have to say goodbye Auto Spa and good luck. read more

I went to this car wash almost 2 years ago and was really impressed with the customer service and the price of the wash (they even put my car through the whole exterior/interior wash twice because they noticed spots that they missed!), but as other reviews have pointed out..this place is going downhill QUICKLY. I went here a month ago, paid $50 (with tip), and was extremely disappointed. They did such a bad job that I had to go to a carwash immediately afterward just to DO THE JOB MYSELF! Dirty spots all over the exterior (I have a white car, these things are noticable) and they didn't even wipe down the interior display! If I'm paying $50 you better at least get ONE spot in my car clean. Super pissed, never coming back. If giving a 0 out of 5 were an option, trust me I'd choose 0. read more

My family and I have been loyal customers here for years, but will never go back!!! My daughter took her car there last week and it came back missing two car mats!. We went to the manager to see if they had the mats and of course they were no where to be found! He even had the nerve to imply WE somehow misplaced them. After being trapped in the car wash line for an hour and 20 minutes, I was finally told that only exterior washing was being done. I settled for the $21.50 charge since I was unable to exit the spa. After entering the cloth wipe down area I observed the vehicle in front of me having the interior and floor mats vacuumed. I questioned one of the attendants and was told that I only paid for exterior washing, I said yes but I was told only exterior washing was being done and I would pay the extra charge to have my interior done. He took my receipt over to the same old grouchy, arrogant, impolite woman who I had problems with before. She came over and proceeded to lecture me and for me to get in my vehicle and leave. Upon leaving I saw the owner of the spa and he told me that they didn't have enough employees to do the interior, his attitude was the same as the grouchy old woman. I have two vehicles that I get washed at the spa, no need to say that they will never see me there again. First time for the works service today - had high hopes - but let down HARD & FAST - loved the lane sized mats that pull you through the wash - but c'mon guys - I paid 42 dollars and even told you I didn't need the trunk done on my new Escape --- for the many hands that my SUV went through in that short time I gotta say I will never make that mistake again -- my rubber mats were not washed - just vaccumed so the dirt still showed - the windows had steaks and water marks on the outside - the rims [even though the guy took quite a while on them, were dirty all over the place - the vehicle only has 800 miles on it so it should have been easy. It was a 10 buck job at best! live and learn - got me once, shame on you - get me twice...no way, that'll NEVER happen. I purchased the basic wash ($12) but when I got out of my car, there were still several place where dirt was evident. I want back to the car wash, and a manager had an employee touch up those spots with no questions asked, but I would've liked it done right the first time.
