I wasted my money and my time! I received a flier in the mail and called AutoPro from that. The guy was great on the phone and in person - very personable and helpful. He really sold us! Left the car and when my husband talked to him the cost would run a couple hundred bucks. Later when the mechanic called me back the bill rose up to over $900. I had the work done and within a week the car started doing the same thing I brought it in for. I called; again nice enough and we brought the car in. a day or two later got the car back and AGAIN the car started doing the SAME THING AS WHAT I BROUGHT IT IN FOR. This is when things got worse! When I brought it in again they had it for 2 weeks and all they did was replace a part they had already replaced. When I called to check on my car after 2 weeks (they didnt call me) I got, "oh they didnt call you?" and when I asked if it was fixed they said "we replaced the part with a better manufacture but there isnt any gas so we can't test drive it - unless you want to reimburse us the $10". Furious I picked up the car. When I got the car they said "don't mind the engine light" and guess what; the car is still doing the same thing. Over $900 and 3 visits and no resolution. Also, I was told during the original visit that my vehicle needed brake pads and rotors. My husband replaced the pads, which he didn't think we're bad and said the rotors were fine. Note that my husband is NOT a mechanic; so it was not a "professional" disagreement. read more

Absolutely one of the best auto shops ran I've ever ran into!! Seriously, props to these guys; never have I ever seen such great customer service and efficiency in a service shop. I had a problem in my front brakes. Was getting a grinding sound every time I came to a full stop. So, I came in the shop and asked to get it repaired. Was expecting it to take a while. But, before long, Zain and another team member started to explain what exactly happened and what needed to be done. Got some brand new rotors and brake pads- Seemed to get the job done Straight to the point. Quick- No bullshit, and much cheaper than I expected. Definitely recommend checking out!! Tip: Oil changes there are extremelyy cheap compared to any other place I've been to, and don't take too long. read more

The boys here at Auto Pro are hard working, honest, treat you and take care of you like family and you just can't beat the prices. I took my car once to the BMW dealer and they created more problems for a simple job. Auto pro took my car the same day and fixed what BMW messed up. Also the cost was significantly less than what the dealer was up charging. The work was quick, efficient, and top notch. I drove there from the dealership. My ABS light had been on, and I got a bumper-to-bumper warranty from Chrysler when I bought the (2018 model) car. Of course, the dealership had cleared the diagnostic codes, and the dealership wanted $800 to fix things. (Yeah, everything was not covered by the warranty.) It still cost me $100 for the dealership's time. Auto Pro spent time trying to diagnose the problem. They even had a guy go with me on a test drive to find the problem. Of course, it wasn't there. (As I mentioned, all the codes were cleared.) Despite all the time they spent trying to figure out the problem, there was no charge. When that ABS light goes back on, I am going there again. I had a great experience at Auto Pro, Zain was more than willing to listen to my list of concerns about my 09 Infinity G37. He quickly took it in to figure out the issues and called me within a couple hours with a plan. He explained how things work and why they needed to be fixed. He even warned me of some issues that could come up once the car was being worked on. Even though there ended up being more work to be done that I had originally anticipated they still made it possible to get everything my car needed within reasonable pricing. I received an advertisement stating a Free Second Opinion after my VW was at the dealer for over a week. A little skeptical at first, I gave these guys a try. It doesn't look like much from the outside. A smaller frontage with a nice lobby. The customer service and quality of work is what set Auto Pro apart from the other shops I've visited. Billy, AJ and Zain were all very courteous. Billy walked me through the repair process and diagnosis. They gave me a timeline. Updated me with text message photos of the work. After being told by the Ford dealer that my just out of warranty engine had a catastrophic failure, I contacted the team at Auto Pro and they immediately provide me with an understanding of engine options the Ford dealer never offered. Within hours, Auto Pro located a low milage replacement engine at half the cost of the Ford dealer engine! Zain and the team explained the procedure and costs to replace the engine and kept me informed and completed the job within a couple days. My truck keep not starting at the worst times. So I had it towed from work to their location. I didn't even know I had that many things wrong with my truck. My mother left it to me with almost no maintenance history. They fixed what was needed and gave me a list of the next things I need to do and offered me the option to finance my repairs. This saved my butt! Got a lot of things done for way way less than the dealership, plus had a weekly payment of less than 50 dollars a week until it was paid off. I do not normally take the time to write reviews unless my service was absolutely terrible or better than I could have asked for! I drive a BMW x3 and normally have my dad around to do all the maintenance. I don't normally trust repair shops, but he went out of town for a few weeks and I couldn't keep driving with the terrible nose that my brakes were making. Based off other reviews and the fact that they will work on German cars, I stopped in for a quote. Zain checked my brakes and broke down the cost to fix them for me. After being quoted 200+ from several other shops, I brought my car in for a differential fluid and gear oil change and they did that for about 100 for both including the gasket which is a fraction of what the other shops were asking. Zain and Mike also found a couple important leaks from the transfer case and my oil pan, which they fixed for a great price as well. They physically showed me the leaks which no other shop would do. If I did not fix these problems when I did I would have to spend much more in the future. Auto Pro went the extra mile to give me a great experience. I definitely recommend this shop. read more

My Acura started making strange sounds when I was driving. I visit my family every other month or so and most of them live in the Troy/Rochester area. Two of our family friends suggested Auto Pro in Troy and told me to ask for Zain. Though I did not meet Zain, AJ and Mike were extremely helpful and got me back on the road the same day. Turns out the dealership I take my car to in Westmont, IL did not check my brakes when I was in for my last service. What a shame! These guys are awesome! Customer service here is great and very accommodating. I was on my way back from seeing a friend one day and I noticed my brakes were not responding fine, I was scared but lucky I for me I was just few kilometers from this place so I managed and was able to stop by to get them fixed. I was attended to almost immediately, the technician was good and everything went smooth. Talk about professionalism. I pick these guys over the dealer 10/10 times. Zain and his staff are great. Very knowledgeable and most of all trustworthy, a hard trait to find in mechanics. Terrible terrible service!! Took my truck in for a rough idle, $2200.00 later the truck runs worse than before I took it to them. Picked it up 4 times. Each time I had to return it. One time I got home and oil was pouring out the bottom, another time couldn't make it home, another time it died on I-75 and they had to have it towed back. One time I picked it up and there was a huge grease spot on my cloth seat!! Had the truck for three weeks!! Very nice people but have no clue to what their doing. I wish I had read the reviews before I took my car in for an oil change 2/13/2015. I had a coupon for $16.90 they charged me an even $20. Today I went to put windshield wiper fluid in the car and noticed that they broke off the hood release handle!!!! Never mentioned it or attempted to fix it!!! I have sent an email to them as they are closed today asking to bring car in and have them fix at there expense I will keep you posted on the out come! read more

I'm truly grateful to AutoPro Troy! My front passenger seat belt was stuck- retracted- and I couldn't pull it out. My husband no longer drives, and has difficulty getting into the back seat of my car. I NEEDED to get the issue handled to get him to his Dr. appointment the next morning, and wanted to avoid the dealer$hip. The young man there fixed the issue in less than 5 minutes.
