When I returned two days later, I was told the front brakes were the real issue and needed to be replaced at a higher cost, and that I may have damaged them in the short time since the previous visit. The shop later called, apologized, admitted they had made a mistake on the original diagnosis, and worked with me to rectify the situation. They have always been polite, and this experience showed they are willing to stand by their work and be honest when something goes wrong. I'm glad they took responsibility and helped make it right.

Turns out the converters were fine, sensor turned off on its own. The sensor light was the result of bad gasoline, once that cleared out the light went off. We researched failures of catalytic converters and the failure rate on modern cars. This is a rare event according to the major manufacturer of converters. We were really disappointed in this very expensive recommendation, as this business had great reviews.

Extremely disappointing pricing transparency and customer service…read more They attempted to charge over $100 for a component that retails between $18 and $25. When I politely questioned the markup, staff spoke down to me rather than explaining their pricing structure. Even after I provided multiple verifiable sources showing the standard retail value, they only reduced the charge to $75--still a 300%+ markup. A business bearing this name should operate with greater honesty, fairness, and respect for its customers. Proceed with caution and double-check their parts pricing.

This review is more about the experience I had when calling to ask a question. I had my check…read moreengine light pop on, stopped by Auto Zone to have it scanned and it told me the issue was my VVT Solenoid. This was for a 2016 Santa Fe Limited. I called Hyundai, 3 week wait just to get an analysis, a couple other places gave me 5-7 days before they could analyze it and told me it would be north of $400 to fix (minimum). Then I talked to Tyler at Christian Brothers. He was willing to set up a time to check out the SUV but he also asked me a couple questions. He told me the Hyundai was known to be an internal oil burner and asked when I had my last oil change. Ironically, it was a little overdue but no warnings or anything. He said if it was a little low it could set off that solenoid issue and he advised me to get a good oil change, drive the vehicle a couple of days and see if it resets itself. If not, they would be happy to look at it. Guess what? He was 100% accurate. I changed the oil, the check engine light went off. I even had the vehicle scanned again to check and there was no code error. Imagine that, a company giving sound advice to help you and not keeping their knowledge for profit. Thanks Tyler for being inquisitive, helpful and saving me an expense that would have been unnecessary. That customer care alone made me a loyal customer.

I would recommend this location to anyone. I required a vehicle inspection, and Justin handled it for me. I chose to explore this mechanic shop - and they inspected it at no cost. Just so you know, if you go to a dealership, you will incur a diagnostic fee. The inspection was completed in less than 20 minutes. Since the car was warm, be prepared to wait a little longer before they can begin working on the vehicle. I talked with nearly all the staff here: Chad, Justin, Mike, & Vicky and they all indicated that the problem was with the turbo. - My experience with my third-party warranty that I got when I exceeded the factory warranty was utterly disappointing. I will still keep it, though. lol. My third-party warranty was a complete letdown. You can count on Vicky; she is available to help you. I must say, Vicky was invaluable throughout my experience. If you are uncertain, I would strongly suggest coming here and asking for Vicky. In summary, the turbo failed, and the team repaired it in under 3 days. They saved me a significant amount of money. I truly appreciate all of you!

We bought a Westinghouse 14 KW tri fuel generator through Amazon…read moreWe had it installed by a 3d party to work as a whole-house generator, connected to our natural gas connection. Did not work After some communications with Westinghouse we were directed to R&E Small Engine in Spring Texas. They asked all the right questions and ended up picking up the unit. After just one day, Tom contacted us and explained that: the unit worked very well on propane and gasoline. Natural gas has its typical issues when using, like irregular pressures, (un) steady flow, type and size of fittings, etc etc. They brought the unit back and all is well now. In short: great service, great professional and personal people. I surely do appreciate them and highly recommend them.

I took my FOrd F150 to them because my regular mechanic was taking vacation when my AC went out…read more They charged me a diagnostic fee to look at it and said there was a big problem with the entire system. They wanted to put dye in to check where the leak was and said it was leaking everywhere- had to replace all the hoses and may have to get a new compressor, etc. the estimated cost of repair to the AC working was $1800. They claimed to have put in several hours tracking down all the leaks. I told them I couldn't afford that and they would discount the hours to generate good will, etc. I think they charged me around $500 which included an oil change but did nothing for my AC other than an expensive diagnosis. When my regular mechanic came back from vacation he looked at it and said it was a minor problem he sees all the time. He replaced some seals and charged it up with Freon (it is still working) and told me there were no leaks in the hoses and compressor was fine) he charged me $186. So great to work with an honest mechanic! These guys are not honest and prey on people who trust them. Don't trust them and take your vehicle to another place for a second opinion. I think you'll find it doesn't have the problem they said and it will be much cheaper. I saved over $1600 by just saying no thanks.
