These guys did an excellent job with the replacement of the windshield on my BMW and recalibrating the camera. I would highly recommend them. They worked directly with our insurance company and were able to get authorization for original BMW glass. So all we had to do was drop off our car and pay the deductible, super easy and seamless. I was concerned having an aftermarket glass put in due to all the safety tech with our windshield and heads up display. The larger national company (safelite) that our insurance company has a national contract made it hard to get a hold of someone at a local shop and would not work with the insurance to get authorization for OEM glass. Auto Glass Express made it easy, they were friendly and a local company that I was happy to give my business too. I would definitely go to them again if I ever need new glass, hands down! read more

She suggested I try to find the part and I tried a couple other places who said all the dealers in the area were out of the part. So, I stuck with them and I was glad I did. Basically the best place in the bay to have your window or side view mirror or really anything glass and car related. Passenger side window smashed? I was thinking $300 for parts and labor. $150 for car detailing after all the smashed glass. Little flecks of glass all over the place. They did it for $165 and cleaned up pretty much all the glass! I was so thrilled I got them cupcakes, but seriously for how cheap and how quick and how effecient they are? This is the best experience I've had with a glass company (and I've lived in some shady areas where I would lose a car window somewhat regularly). I wanted to do in-shop service and left a VM at 8:10 requesting a quote. I had a call back in about 30 minutes. They'd already verified that they had the glass needed for my rear window in stock and were able to see me the same day. The place is easy to find. The woman who helped me was friendly and informative. Our BMW had the passenger window broken into in the middle of the night and AGE was able to come to directly to our house to fix the window the same day I called. Originally, we went with an aftermarket glass, and after it was installed the nice guy (I forget his name) that replaced the window did mention that the computer may need a day or two to reset itself. If it doesn't in a few days, to call them and they will fix it. (The auto button would make the window go up and down). Sadly, even after a week my BMW didnt reset itself, so I had to call AGE to let them know. The woman I spoke to already knew that I may be calling and helped right away. My brother referred me here because he has had to replace his car's windshield a couple times. Friday night my car was broken into and the rear left window was smashed. I called this place when they opened around 9:30am on Saturday, they were able to fit me at 11:30am. It sounds like they also do mobile glass installations. I went to their shop and they said it would take about an hour and a half. I wandered around that area where there are a bunch of cafes and restaurants around there. They not only did a good job with the installation but also handled the clean-up (cleaning an vacuuming my backseat area of the broken glass). The repair cost about $200 which I heard is a pretty good price. Since I had an after market tint on the broken window they referred me to a couple places. They did a good job and I hope I don't have to go there again anytime soon. read more

I was referred to AGE by my insurance when I was on the phone filing my claim on my broken window. I quickly looked up this shop on Yelp and was confident that they'd do a great job because of the 4-5 star reviews. I was correct! They came to my house and repaired my back window of my Veloster in less than an hour and the guys were super friendly. My only complaint is that I did not think it was going to run me almost $500 and out of pocket too.... ugh. I honestly thought maybe at the most $350-$400 but that was not the case and when I asked why so high they said that because my car is a new model and AGE doesn't carry too many replacement parts in stock. Well I don't know if that's the truth because I'm sure there must be some kind of mark up on all parts but whatever the case may be this bill was just a little too high for a small back window. Overall I wouldn't come back again because it's just too expensive, but they still did a good job. read more

Living in Oakland I have had to use them on now four different occasions at least. This company goes above and beyond the average Glass repair company. It has paid off well for me to use a company that has a business here as opposed to a lot of glass people that say they live here and they have a local number but they don't have a business here and are circumspect in their warranties, they're just out of their car and undermine the small businesses that are here. Once upon a time I had a problem with one of the windows and it was under warranty and they replaced it no questions asked they have taken care of me time and time again. Take today I went to a restaurant that was a little too far away for me to get back from for breakfast while they fixed my car before the rain came and they came and pick me up because I'm disabled.
