Nice people, but they seem overwhelmed and not reliable. My read window of car was smashed and they said they could part in few days. We made an appointment, drove car to them in the town over and stay for the day so both my partner and I were driving separately...showed up and they said "oh, actually, they couldn't get the part." Didn't bother to call us and tell us this information but rather waited until we each drove across town. Didn't even call me back to apologize or explain. The chip and cracking of the windshield was right where the heads up display projects and I was planning on seeing something from the damage every time I look at the heads up but nope - a truly amazing and perfect repair! It's not fun getting your window smashed in the middle of the night. These folks made it easy to fix. The person on the phone was friendly and helpful. They gave me a reasonable quote and came out to my house to replaced the window the next day. The installer, Elber, did a great job. He arrived on time and installed the window in 30 minutes. I've used them twice - the first time for a ding two years ago and they were excellent. The second time for my whole windshield after a second ding. Had windshield damage and side window panel damage on my 2006 Sprinter. My Liberty Insurance sent me to SafeLite. After a week of them not getting back to me, being confused about what "side window" I was talking about and sending them photos, SafeLite got back to me and said that that window was not available anywhere. Next I contact acted X Pro Auto Glass. They said "No Problem" send us the photos. But after a couple of days, they said they said the side window was not made any more and they would have to remove mine and cut a new one to fit. But in the meantime, I had literally driven down the street to Auto Glass Express, and they found and ordered the side glass while I waited and scheduled me for the next day! I was blown away by the difference in experience with previous shops. Great people, they even sent me photos of the installation of my window for my records. My experience having my windshield replaced was super smooth! The rear quarter window of our Tesla Model 3 was broken into on a Thursday night. We were going to have to wait at least 10 days for Tesla service or Safelite to replace the window. We were able to make an appointment with AGE only a day ahead of time. They did a great job and charged half of what Tesla proposed and about 40% of what Safelite quoted. And they finished early. We picked up a rock chip on one of the wonderful interstates around the bay area which proceeded to turn into a small crack. We've been unfortunate the past 12 months as this was our third time replacing our windshield. The first two times, we used the preferred vendor that Mercury contracts with (All Star Glass). Needless to say, the service provided by All Star was less than ideal (and we had to take the car to San Rafael). After working with Mercury to get approval for a non-preferred vendor, I called Auto Glass Express and they quickly let me know that they could do the work and would coordinate with Mercury to get the necessary approvals and submit the billing. Turnaround was fast - I called on Wednesday, and the windshield was replaced Friday morning. It was a very simple process and the work was done professionally. Best of all, they worked with Mercury to have factory glass vs. aftermarket installed on the car. If you're needing your glass repaired, and especially if you're going through your insurance, I highly recommend Auto Glass Express. read more
