    Repairs were incomplete and not as requested. What was done was good but one clearly visible scrape was incomplete.

When the repairs were complete, minus a pair of nameplates that were on back order, Tim had us pick up the car and we returned later in the week for a few minutes to have the badges installed...we were very excited to return the rental and get our new car back, and the Lynch Auto team made sure it was in a timely manner. Do you really think they are going to continue to pay for my rental knowing my car is complete? Not once did I deny to pay my bill, which was only my deductible, mind you. You stated you couldn't waive the deductible because that's illegal. I never asked you to waive it. Also, where did you get the information that I had auto body work done and didn't return to that shop? Because that is also false. This is my first claim. I've had the same insurance company since 2012. Should I contact my insurance company and get my claim information/history? And you saying I tried to take advantage of a small business? Far from, again, I chose your business because of the number of years you have been in service. I chose to shop local and support a small business.     My Dodge Durango was in the shop for 2 months and returned with problems…read more Quality of repairs?2 Satisfaction with customer service?2 Anything could be improved? Make sure everything works as it did before service. Vehicle ready when promised? Yes2 months after dropping it off. Far to long to hold a persons car. Additional work? Yes, Took it to the dealer to have 2 repairs done, caused by your body shop at a cost of over $300. And wasting my time having to make two separate appointments to have repairs completed. Reason for return? Rear hatch wasn't lined up properly and was rubbing causing it to rust. Door locks were not working properly, antenna wasn't hooked up. Kept informed during repair process? No, When told it was getting painted, I asked if they looked at the rear hatch, mentioned when dropping it off, to be touched up with paint, I was told it was to late. Would you recommend shop to friend or family? NO Reason for score given for friend/family referral? Check your work before releasing it to me. Be more reliable and follow through with what you said. When called about the door lock problem I was told to fix it myself, that there wasn't anything Gerber could do for me. And one more thing, Before taking it to Gerber Collision I had gotten 2 other estimates, both thousands less, but my insurance company would only allow Gerber to do the work with no questions asked so that's the only reason I took it to them.

But, it gets even better. They didn't finish the body work so there is still damage AND they broke my hood latch. Things I wouldn't find until AFTER I left. Please do not use this auto body shop. You'll regret it later!! To Jessica D - Nicholas has not tried to contact me. He has both my cell phone number and email address. He also knows my workplace. But, my next step is to contact the Better Business Bureau and let my insurance company know, as this is a "preferred" body shop.

    LONG STORY SHORT: Zimbrick completely tried to rip off my brother and lied about what work needs to…read morebe done on his car. They made him think the car was unsafe to drive, so he did not have a vehicle to drive for two weeks, only to find out there was nothing wrong with his car. This is a review posted for my brother's experience specifically at the Zimbrick Honda dealership's service center on Grand Canyon Drive. AVOID THIS SERVICE CENTER AT ALL COSTS!! They are dishonest about what work your car needs, and they will try to rip you off completely. My brother was told by the Zimbrick sevice center that his car was leaking transmission fluid from the axle seals. They also mentioned that his air intake hose was about to tear, and it needed to be replaced immediately. Both of these were strange findings as his car is not that old and has relatively low mileage. So, he took the car to Goodyear (on 608 Washington Ave.) to get another quote and a second look. Zimbrick quoted him for $840 for the transmission fluid issues, while the folks at Goodyear quoted him for literally HALF the cost. However, they also said they couldn't find a leak. Apparently, his car's seals were totally fine. As for the air intake hose, Goodyear found that it's only slightly worn from weather and time, but it still looked fine. The mechanic at Goodyear said they wouldn't recommend my brother to go out of his way to replace it until a light comes on for it on the dashboard of the car Overcharging is standard for dealerships, so that's to be expected, but it is totally unacceptable to tell customers that urgent service must be completed when there are zero problems. Zimbrick inconvenienced my brother for two weeks because he couldn't drive his car during that time, and it turns out it was all a lie! BONUS ADVICE: Seriously, go to the Goodyear on 608 Washington Ave. when you need stuff done for your car. They're so honest and they're such standup people there. They went one step further after checking over my brother's car to say that they weren't comfortable charging him with anything because no services needed to be done. They didn't even charge my brother for the part they ordered because they will just send it back for him at no cost. How amazing is that, right?!
