I highly recommend this shop for their exceptional customer service and fair pricing. I was in a pinch to get a smog check after not realizing it was required to renew my registration. These guys responded promptly, were able to get me in same day, and it only took an hour for a smog AND oil change. Both of the gentlemen that helped me were incredibly polite and thoughtful - a real stand out when customer services seems to be on a downward trend. There's a small waiting area with a comfy couch but I would recommend checking out one of great restaurants in the area - they're a little tucked away but there are a lot of great options to choose from. Poor work, dishonest behavior, financial manipulation!  BEWARE!!! Previously Kovac's Auto who did great work.  I went back for collision repairs on my Audi eTron in January 2023 not knowing the shop had changed hands.  Took 2 months to get my car back, then in and out to re-address poor workmanship 5-10 times through November 2023.  Ultimately had to take the car into a reputable repair shop to complete.  Re-work cost me $11,700 OUT OF POCKET.  Simon Jizrawi (owner, simon@autocentermarin.com) committed to make me whole beginning of June 2024.  $0 received. One of the mechanics tore my seat with a screwdriver and they agreed to repair it, but stopped taking my calls and did not return several messages and texts that I left. I couldn't be happier with my experience here. I went out of my way and traveled from Oakland to go here (even though there are plenty of auto body shops within walking distance from me). Every part of my experience was top notch - their communication prior to getting any work done, quickly scheduling an appointment, VERY competitive pricing, quick paint job turnaround, quality of work, friendliness, etc. I got an ABS vortex generator for my 2019 WRX painted gloss black. It looks perfect. A beautiful mirror finish. Nate explained the whole process of painting ABS parts, and why that equates to the quote he provided - all before I even visited the shop. The quote was substantially lower every other shop I inquired with. On top of that, they finished the paint job in one day. I was able to pick it back up in less than 24 hours, and again, it looks perfect. To top it off, Nate and Simon chopped it up with me for a bit about other work I wanted done on my car, and offered discounted quotes for whenever I want to get that work done in the future - with no expiration dates on the discounts, because I would now be a repeat customer. I had a really pleasant experience here recently and needed help getting a protective part for the catalytic converter installed on a 2012 Prius. I was getting paranoid I'd be the next victim of having this part jacked in the middle of the night with the crazy increases of douchebag thieves ruining peoples lives taking this part and It was something I did not want to wake up to and spend an insane amount to reinstall. I def did not feel comfortable leaving my car overnight in SF or other parts of the bay again until I had this part protected!! I asked around a few shops in Novato and Marin and this shop came in with the kindest and most thorough responses with reasonable prices also. They were transparent with everything from the price of the part to the time and estimate of labor costs, as well as noting which brand/type they recommend (Cat Shield?!) and showed it to me in person when I arrived, which was really nice and cool to see. I didn't do a ton of research myself into all the technicalities of brand options, but I got a sense I could trust them based on their responses and experience that I went with what they recommended. Setting up an appointment was easy and they're accommodating. It was done within 1-1.5 hrs and I just walked to a nearby brunch spot to kill time and support another local business. Overall, I'd highly recommend this place and would come here again for future car struggles. It took a while to get it done, but that was mostly due to parts availability, as shipping and availability of parts is still majorly affected by pandemic restrictions. I needed to get my car checked out because I'm planning on going on a short road trip this weekend and I needed to make sure it was all set to drive!
