I had my truck in, and it just needed a simple fuse replaced - it took them two days to figure this out. They made it sound like the initial person doing the inspection was not an actual mechanic. The lady behind the counter, when I went and picked my truck up stated, "well, once it got to a real mechanic, they were able to diagnose it." This time around they told me I would need to replace a certain part to get my 4x4 working again. I replaced the part, they told me it was working - it's still not working. I brought my truck back to them, they've had it for a full day, and still haven't looked at the problem. I also have a check engine light on that's related to my fuel fill inlet valve, or a Vapor Recovery System Issues - I think this is beyond their level of expertise to fix it. This is my second day missing work to have them work on my truck, and I have no hope that they'll be able to fix the issues - even though I've already paid for one to be fixed, and they told me it was fixed. I will not be bringing my truck back to this mechanic.

NO NO NO! DO NOT USE THIS GUY! Oscar made my appointment for 4:30 one afternoon. He showed up at…read more6pm. Got upset that my garage didn't have adequate lighting and he would have to use his own portable lights. He diagnosed my coolant was leaking and my thermostat and thermostat housing had to be replaced and coolant added. He let me know he doesn't like to talk while working so I said no problem. During the work he said something and I answered. He was then RUDE and said he didn't want to talk. I informed him I was just answering his remark. I paid him $350 for the work done. Even though he had been rude, I was considering using him again. Then, my car, 5 weeks later, started exhibiting the same symptoms as before he worked on it. I contacted Oscar, we made an appointment for the next day. No call no show. I then took the car to a qualified auto repair center and will now be paying over $600 to replace the thermostat, replace the thermostat housing that he cracked and add more coolant. I would give negative stars if I could! DO NOT USE THIS GUY!!!

He didn't finish and said he would be back. A month ago. A month of me calling and texting with no response. Meanwhile I have front coil overs that were never adjust properly and a loud clunk from one of them. I would assume at this point he is just ghosting next because he doesn't want to finish the job that I paid him for. Unless I hear back from him with a good explanation of why he couldn't use the phone for a month, I'll leave this review up as a warning for others. Second update: Miraculously the day after I posted the previous update, Jay contacted me. The months worth of text messages and calls weren't enough I guess. He said he was sick and would let me know when he would be able to come by. It's coming up on a month since that message and still no contact from him. Not even after I asked if he couldn't finish the work to just tell me. It's a shame that it got to this point, he seemed reputable at first. But now I'm stuck with a half assed job that I need to take somewhere else to get finished. I have spent over $4k over several months for the same unresolved issue. First, they misdiagnosed it as a bad throttle body. Then later admitted it never need one. Next, they claimed it was the PCV valve, which they had already replaced two years prior. When that didn't resolve the problem, they said I needed a new water pump and hoses, which failed to resolve the issue. Finally, they told me I needed a $4500 head gasket repair. At that, point, I sought a second opinion at the dealership. Only to learn the problem stemmed from the previous work, which had not be done properly. I am a teacher who cannot afford to pay thousands of dollars for "guesswork." Despite multiple chances, the shop has not offered any refund or attempt to make this right with me. At this point, based on the actions (or lack there of) of this shop, I no longer believe this is a case of gross incompetence. I believe it was done with intentional deceit and I can't with good conscience recommend this place to anyone.
