If I could give them negative stars, I would. This company doesn't care to help the children, only cares about $ and how much $$$ they can get out of you and your insurance. Even after being with this company for over 3 year (at one point felt almost like a family/support system) as soon as we had an issue with our insurance we where notified immediately that our child could no longer assist the program and given a week to resolve it or else, we would get all services fully revoked. This is exactly what happened, now we're left scrambling trying to get our child into another provider. No empathy, it's all about the $$$$. Once a great case manager, Karen, left this company EVERYTHING came down like a house of cards. From the service, to the communication, down to the empathy- all gone. Not professional, lack of ethics and 0 compassion. Do yourself and your family a favor, avoid this place like the plague! read more

ABSI is a great place to start working if you are interested in Psychology especially in ABA. I enjoy working within this company because the supervisors are extremely supportive! I was able to get trained and certified within the company and I was able to ask many questions with a lot of support from all the staff members. By far the worst training to be a behavior interventionist. I had to drive out to santa ana for training that was thru Skype which was such a joke! The connection was horrible and didn't even hear half the things being said. I complained and nothing was done, on top of that the company didn't even bother to give me any paper work with company information or any information at all. The trainers name was Alexis and she kept going off topic just wasting our time. I wasnt the only one who agreed. Never going back or recommending this place. read more

Please do NOT hire this agency to provide NPA services for your child as a 1:1 aide. This company is about quantity over quality staff with our children. I have repeatedly complained about our son's 1:1 aide that has been unable to follow my son's BIP at school. My son started having new behaviors with his aide Kayla Miller of hitting. He hit her twice and she CRIED!!! She never told me or her supervisor, I found out through the school staff and my son's peers. Then they brought on their "best in the region" BI Isis Lopez who also couldn't follow a schedule and dragged my son across the classroom during a meltdown. I spoke to the school board of the terrible services we were receiving and the team agreed to remove this agency and bring on a new one. The last week Kayla was with my son she refused to take my son to recess when he arrived at school. I watched her from the office take him to the classroom. She also had him roaming the hallways during a lockdown with a gunman a few blocks away. I also requested to speak to Dr. Patterson to file complaints and have been told by Natalie Tagachi she would call me in 2 days. I have yet to speak to her since my email request on 8/27. First, I have to say that Rosa Patterson has worked with my daughter Savannah for years. She started at age 3, and she just turned 16! She used to work with the school district and then she left to start her own business so she could help the kids without having to go through the political red tape of the district. She has always been there for us, not only Savannah, but for our whole family. She understands the needs of our kids and the struggles we face helping our children. She has a great staff and is extremely professional. We all love her!! read more

I can't give Autism Behavior Services and Rosa Patterson enough stars. She was a life saver when I was at my wits end with my daughter. I was in tears daily. Autism Behavior Services was a great support system and put a plan in place very quickly. I was with the agency for 2 years and was devastated when we moved and had to go with another agency. I have had experience with other agencies and that is why I can say Autism Behavior Services is the best! Rosa makes sure her staff is educated and well trained before entering your home. Other agencies DO NOT at least the ones I have dealt with. We had 15 hours in home therapy and attended the social group once a week. The program was flexible and ever changing to make sure my daughter was learning coping skills in every situation. Rosa even had an attorney come into the office and had an education night for the parents on our rights for IEPs. She attended my daughter's IEP meetings and coached me in what to demand for my daughter. This gave me confidence to face the table of school officials when fighting for my daughter's resources in school. Rosa truly cares about the children and their progress. As one parent to another go with this agency. You will not be disappointed. read more
