Her speech intelligibility has improved tremendously, and her confidence has grown along with it. Arianna is patient, knowledgeable, and consistently made therapy engaging while giving us practical activities to reinforce skills at home. Her dedication and genuine care played a huge role in Lucille's progress. We are incredibly grateful for everything she has done and highly recommend her.

Each therapist has a room and the children can either spend time in said room or use the two gyms that are full of toys and play equipment (Lots of swings, slides, playhouse, climbing wall, crash pad, etc.). Both gyms are very clean and well maintained. They also have a nice kid friendly kitchen! Since we have been here for some time, we have had an opportunity to work with many speech and occupational therapists as well as the admin. Everyone here is very kind and knowledgeable in their field, generously offering tips and advice when I ask 100 questions. My son's schedule is packed, so when I need to reschedule, administration is very friendly and helps find a way to make our make-up appointments work for us. We have been with our current and absolutely amazing Occupational Therapist, Brenda, since day 1. She is a miracle worker when it comes to my son's food aversions- getting him to taste things he would normally throw at the wall. He is always super excited on Friday when I grab him from school since he knows hes going to see his "ms. Brenda". She is truly a key figure on my son's care team. We started speech services about a year ago at OCSS and my son's therapist, Claire, is extremely knowledgeable in Gestalt language processing. We just learned that my son is a Gestalt learner before we switched to OCSS and we are so thankful he was paired with someone with the expertise and knowledge that Claire has. She meets him right where he is that day and lets him lead which is so important for our son since he is a little unpredictable. He adores his time with her, and asks for her by name even on days we're not going to OCSS. If you're shopping around for therapy services for your child, I highly recommend OCSS and their staff.

Scheduling does not communicate well with the staff. They will tell you one thing and do another. We finally found a BI that worked well with my son. We worked with her for a year and she had connected with my son. He was finally making progress. However, my husband's insurance was terminated. I clearly communicated with Love 2 Learn about our situation. I reached out to OC regional to get funding for sessions immediately. Love 2 Learn told me they would give us two weeks before they would replace the BI with another case. I had funding from OC regional in less than two weeks however, Scheduling did not communicate with the staff and the BI was already removed from our case. This was very disheartening for our family. I did speak with Ruben, after being informed that the BI was no longer on our case. He informed me that most of the time OC regional takes longer than two weeks and that they had miscommunicated inside of their facility. I let him know that I worked my but off to get funding and I even hand-delivered the paperwork to OC regional to get the process going fast faster. I continue to follow up with Love 2 Learn about the process, however they didn't communicate within their company. Ruben, did not offer to give us the BI back even though it was their fault for the miscommunicates. I have the Text messages to prove it. He told us that they have other BI that would work great with my child and they wanted to move his session to the afternoon. I was disappointed, I never asked to move session to the afternoons and my son does better in the morning. Honestly, I had an hard time believing that they had someone better to replace the BI I worked so hard to keep. Autistic children have a hard time connecting with people and when they finally do connect and you just take the connection away it's not easy for them to reconnect with someone else. Prior to this BI We had multiple BI that did not work out. Mostly because of the hight turnover. I've even had to report one of those BI for doing insurance fraud and time clock fraud. After she repeatedly claimed hours and they billed our insurance for dates she was not here. She was terminated from the company after I reported her, but imagine how many times she got away with it before being caught.

I believe they have 39 beds. We met Dominic Bastone, the Administrator. He listened to our story (unlike the other facilities) and said they had a bed available. We were so happy that we found a place near us so we could see him every single day. Because we saw him everyday, we saw how great the staff was at their job. Raquel, Malou, Bree, Ed, Lou, Chris, Maira and many more, and even Alex who did maintenance was unbelievably helpful. Another employee, who had a garden in back, gave us some vegetables. it started to feel like they were family. More importantly, Randy felt like it was home. We would highly recommend this facility if your loved one needs short or longterm care.

They have an outdoor courtyard where patients and visitors can relax, eat their meals outside if they want, or even take a nap. There is a curfew, but if you need to stay longer, they will accommodate that. Just be aware that if a patient has medication given at the hospital, unfortunately that medication cannot transfer over to rehab. Stanley does not have its own pharmacy, so it can take a while for nurses to get a new supply from an outside pharmacy. That said, they really do their best to get it first thing in the morning, and it is not Stanley's fault given the gap in the healthcare system (pay attention to this health administrators). Other than that, I highly recommend Stanley!

Her name begins and ends with R, and she began to avoid saying her name when introducing herself or when people would ask her name. This broke my heart and solidified the need to seek speech therapy. She began therapy in February 2024 with Mikayla, and by October/November she had made drastic improvements in the ability to say R's but the habit of saying R sounds the old way was hard to break. It is now January 2025 and our insurance has changed so she is no longer able to attend therapy, but I am so happy to report that she has now mostly broken the habit of saying R's the old way all on her own without reminders, and most importantly can confidently say her own name. I also want to thank Karen for her diligence in working with my insurance company getting the claims paid. Long overdue review of Chatterbox. It's been about a year since we left Chatterbox, but I'm very…read morethankful for the services that they provided to my son. When my son was 3 years old, I brought him to Chatterbox since he was no longer developing verbally. In fact, he had regressed badly in preschool, and was largely not verbal there during the day. We later had him diagnosed with autism (ASD), and were able to pursue other services, but at the time, all we had was Chatterbox. After the initial intake with Courtney, he was accepted as a patient, and we got on the schedule pretty quickly. I don't believe it is this available or open normally, so I guess we got lucky. We set goals and we were coming to Chatterbox for 30 minute sessions (really 25 minutes) twice a week. We worked on some basic things, but given the later ASD diagnosis, we did what we could here. The end result was that after almost a year, he was verbal again and we met some of our goals. I didn't mind continuing with Chatterbox, but by that point, my son's needs were greater in other areas, so most of his time afterschool was allocated to behavior therapy instead. All in all, we are very thankful for the services that Chatterbox provided. Eternally grateful for the services delivered by Marina, Denny, Amanda, and Jenn. Also thankful to Priscilla for being great to work with from a scheduling and administrative perspective. Anyone who comes here will know right away that the parking lot is comical. The entrance on Cherry actually features bi-directional traffic, even though it's only wide enough for a single vehicle. If I do manage to get in this way, I'll do a quick pass through the lot, and if no spots, I'll make a right in the alleyway and another right on Reagan St., then another right back onto Katella, where there is usually street parking in front of the dentist.

When we asked the instructor about this, she insisted that he was too young to learn and they were unsure why the insurance sent them due to their young age, yet they continued to insist the next appointment would be different (I guess it was a money grab) My son showed no growth during his time here, but incredible growth after deciding to no longer use this company. Also, please make sure you keep your insurance documents handy, as their billing team will change terms in payments without notifying you and then blame someone else (blaming insurance, due to their errors and requesting additional payment.
