I had recently purchased a 2012 Toyota Prius C and loved everything about it, except that it didn't have tinted windows. (Everyone knows you got to have tinted windows in Texas) After searching yelp, I picked Austin Window Tint. They were offering a special coupon on Yelp and I took advantage of it. I took it in, dropped it off and they called me when it was ready. Very friendly and explained the techniques and product they were using. What a difference tint makes. I highly recommend them. read more

Just a quick follow up review from the push start ignition that was installed on my 08 mustang GT. Were very clear about the hours required for the job, let me know how they were wiring the button. Simple and clean install. Looks awesome and is a cool conversation piece. read more

Charlie is sweet guy. They did a good job and generally the people here are warm and friendly. Definitely recommend it.

David (the owner) does amazing work. His helper Charlie is a good guy as well. I recommend this place to anyone. This is the second truck I have had tinted here and both times they did a magnificent job. You can't go wrong with their prices either. read more

All was good up front but two years later the quality shows. My windows are all bubbling up, which has never been an issue on any of my other vehicles done by other company's. Pay more money and go somewhere good that will last read more

This is my first review on Yelp and I signed up to leave this comment. Austin Window Tint installed tint on my new Silverado in July 2013. Recently, the tint film on the passenger side window began to bubble and come off. I called them to see if they could replace it and they did so for no charge. I dropped by the shop and was in and out in less than an hour. They were extremely friendly and professional and I highly recommend their shop if you need tint service in ATX. Of course the replaced tint product looks excellent. Thanks guys! read more

Took my 2015 Silverado HD in and got tint after reading the reviews. They are all true. Excellent experience, super friendly.

These guys took fantastic car of my GTI. Brought it to them about a month ago and they worked with me to get the exact tint and percentage I wanted on my car. It looks fantastic and dark! There was a lifetime warranty with it too. I compared this shop to other big names in the Austin area but decided on this one with its lower pricing and the mom and pop feel. I would definitely recommend them to my friends. read more

Rock solid job. I already recommended them to a colleague looking to tint their new car.

Charlie and David went above and beyond on getting our windows tinted. India took great care of me and my family while we waited. Price was well below what we'd expected and service was professional and very courteous. I'm a true Austinite, born and raised here. This place is locally owned and the real deal. I would recommend them to ANYONE. read more

I found this place by doing a search for window tint in Austin. In reading all the reviews I decided to go down and check the place out for myself. I was greeted and I asked for a price on tinting my car. The gentleman who helped me took the time to explain the different varieties of tint, the color level, heat reduction, etc. then he took me outside to show me what the different tint levels look like when applied to a vehicle. THEN we went over to my car to decide what I wanted where. So A+ for customer service for sure! I retuned later in the afternoon to hear my car tinted. I was quoted two hours, and that's exactly how long the job took. I was walked through how long the tint will take to settle on the windows, and assured that should anything not look right to come back and they will take care of it for me. And my car looks amazing!! I'd recommend these guys all day! I'm already planning on taking my husbands car to be tinted. read more

Im impressed with the way my car looks now! Thanks Charlie and crew! Wow is all I can say !

Just got my car windows tinted here last week and couldn't be more pleased! They provide excellent service and top-of-line materials. The person who I talked with was well-informed and didn't try to up sell me. I will come here for my next car!! read more

I came to Yelp to read the reviews of window tinters awhile ago. I chose the top three based on reviews and went to them all. I came back to Austin Window Tint and I cannot be more pleased. The price and most importantly the quality of workmanship are unparalleled. They take pride in doing the tinting carefully. Two hours later they were done. Charlie was great to work with in the office and David (owner) and son do the work on your car. How often do you have the owner do the work on your car? Believe the reviews as I can attest that they are legit. read more

I definitely recommend this place. Their rates are reasonable, they are friendly and professional, and their wait area is comfortable. The tint job looks great! read more

This is a family run business at its best. They couldn't have been more helpful ,accommodating, and professional. I wouldn't go anywhere else. And you should see my car! WOW! Bringing my husbands truck next. The difference between driving my Volvo in the summer heat last year and driving it with the window tint they installed, is like stepping from the desert into a cool lake. Go for it, and for Pete's sake don't look any further than this place. You stumbled upon the best. read more

Excellent work and best customer service in town (for any type of business).

Great price, great service. Charlie was awesome. Knowledgeable and honest. Didn't try to sell me into something I didn't need or want. I showed up a little late, but they were ready for me, and finished before their 2 hour time frame. read more

We got a new Maserati and i was really looking to have a professional job done. I selected a place based primarily on yelp reviews. They did not disappoint. Made an appointment, greeted politely, explained the options and immediately started work. It was done in a couple of hours and has worked out great. No problems. Our windows don't have frames so they automatically go down a little as you open the door. They explained to me that sometimes causes problems after the initial install. They said just bring it back if it happens and they would fix it. However, no problems at all and they look great. I would highly recommend them. read more

Just got my Tesla windows done here, and like other reviewers mentioned, these guys are fantastic. Friendly, fast, and most importantly, you can tell they care about the product and your vehicle. I'd highly recommend them. Their tints selection is pretty robust too, so you should be able to find a tint you want here. read more

Texas is a hot place to live. I decided to drop some dinero on window tint for my '02 Camry. Austin Window Tint had a Yelp deal that looked pretty good. I called and got details. Decided to go with a tint on all windows including a light tint on the windshield (88% light transmission, I believe). The owner went over the options with me. Gave me a demo on the heat rejection. All in all I felt comfortable with his presentation. His assistant was knowledgeable as well. Talked with him about tint, and car care in general, while he gave me a ride so I wouldn't have to wait in the shop. Anyway, they took their time explaining everything before and after. I followed the care instructions to a T. It's been six weeks and the tint cured really nice. No major flaws and very few tiny flaws (probably dust). Visibility is great day and night. Bright days are easier on the eyes. Heat rejection is good - not a miracle cure for 100 degree heat, but definitely helps. I recommend Austin Window Tint. read more

Friendly staff that does great work. You can't beat their prices! I will definitely recommend it to others

Super friendly, fast, and honest service! I took my Accord, as well as my boyfriend's X5 here, both vehicles were worked on immediately (without an appointment). The employees were very communicative, and kind. After completion, Dave came out and double checked his work, and assured me that I could bring it in if I had any issues. I will take my next vehicle here. read more

David and Charlie are excellent. I made an appointment the day before, was running late the day of. No problem, we'll see you when you get here. I was having problems getting my headlights turned off, and they pulled apart the dash, and fixed it for free. Then, they offered to give me a ride, which I accepted. Great job, professional, and most helpful. read more

Outstanding customer service, great work, and great price! I recently got a new car and having never had my windows tinted, I was a little nervous. Austin window tint has done a great tint job on my vehicle. I got my car tinted there last week and the owner was very nice and carries out the meaning of southern hospitality. They have very competitive prices and are centrally located. I am going back to get a little nitpicky thing tweaked on my car and the owner was very open when I spoke to him about it. This shows that they reliable and guarantee their workmanship. This place is definitely recommended by many UT students read more
