WOW...what an arrogant ass! Mr. Know-It-All tried to argue with me about "tinting" a home window. I literally just got off the phone with a competitor in order to shop around a little and they had no problem discussing what needed to be done. read more

Super helpful, affordable, gave me several options, and was able to get in and out quickly. I would highly recommend! You also get to pet cute dogs while you are waiting. I'd say its a win, win. read more

Great experience. Fast, professional, and affordable. My tint still looks great after several months without any bubbles or issues.

This business is a cute, local shop off South 1st Street. The owners are nice, understanding, and the prices are some of the best in town! There is a large waiting room and 3 precious little pups for you to enjoy while you wait! Also, do yourself a favor and schedule an appointment. I waited around 1 hour and 45 minutes for the job to get done - and it got done right! Highly recommend this place for your tint! read more

I literally called Shannon crying after paying for a bad tint job on my two day old dream car. A few hours later I picked up a perfectly tinted beauty. I forever owe her & her husband & anytime I have the opportunity to refer someone to Austin's Window Tine I definitely will. I'm forever grateful, thank you all again read more

Five years and counting, the tint job they did for me is holding up really well. I remember thinking at the time, "This is way too cheap, no way it's gonna last..." They were 50% of another bid I got from a company my old neighbor recommended, and his car looks like shit now with bubbles in the tint but the job they did is holding up great. read more

First off thank you for the excellent install on my truck. I went in thinking I wanted the darkest tint possible until Shannon walked me through the different tints available which give that super dark look from the outside but great visibility on the inside. Glad she was so knowledgeable and helpful. It definitely raised my confidence even more on the shop at that point. Excellent pricing great customer service and very quick and accurate instalI. I also feel like if there is any issue they would not hesitate to fix immediately. Thanks again and I definitely recommend this shop for your tinting needs. read more

Austin Window Tint did a phenomenal job! (Front windows ceramic tint and windshield screen on our new SUV). And what a great experience! Prompt response to my initial inquiry, everything was explained well, beyond friendly, professional, super fast service! Even got greeted by their 3 little fluff balls when I came in. "Ma and pop" operation. They ensured everyone was wearing masks and that our car was sanitized before delivery. Highly recommend! #supportlocal! read more

Called at 9:45am to have my entire car tinted except my front windshield. I was in same day by 10:20am. Great service. Fair prices. Nice and professional. Had free wifi while I waited and were quick. Def recommend. My car looked great when I got home (Lexus is350) ! read more

We had the driver's and front passenger's windows tinted. Also, they installed heat reflecting film on the windshield. Finally, they installed a subwoofer and power inverter. All jobs were carefully and professionally done. David and Charlie are extremely friendly and helpful. On each occasion they offered cost-saving advice and steered me away from overly expensive / unneeded options. The results are fantastic. They spent time tuning the stereo and existing speakers to match with the new subwoofer. Big improvement over the OEM system. The car is cooler (less heat), but I'm still a nerd. read more

This is my second time coming here for window tint and again it was excellent! I called and was able to get in the same day and got a great tint job at a reasonable price. Highly recommend! read more

I take pride in Austin and in supporting small businesses! David makes that so very easy to do. He is very kind, knowledgeable and ready and willing to do good work! I bought my boyfriend a gift-certificate for tint on his car for Christmas. BTW, great gift idea for anyone...my boyfriend thought of it as a makeover!!! I called the day after Christmas to see when we could get it in, David said to bring it on over and had it done a few hours later. They did a fantastic job and that 2008 Sonata...looks like a 2012!!! I highly suggest going to Austin Window Tint for their friendly staff, great service and to help keep business local! read more

I first went to Austin Window Tint back in 2013 to have a Toyota 4Runner tinted after moving to Texas from Minnesota and realizing the sun is no joke down here. AWT did a perfect job of explaining my options, with outstanding customer service and a perfect job on my windows. When I bought a 2016 F150, I took it back to AWT the same week I bought it because I had such a positive experience the first time. Again, they did not disappoint. My windows look awesome, and just like my past vehicle the tint does an amazing job of blocking out the heat. The guys are friendly, got me in the same day, and knocked out a perfect tint job. They will have my business for every other vehicle I purchase in the future. read more

They got me in same day and in less than 2hrs I had top of the line ceramic tint on all windows. Prices are very fair and everything was explained very well. Friendly, laid back staff that typify what old Austin is all about: good work, reasonable prices and cool folks that take pride in their work. Love these guys. read more

OK, this isn't a canned review. If you're worried about being ripped off, this is the place to go because they are 100% on the up and up. I went to SunTint for my other car awhile back and they were great but I went to these guys for my new car, to install the stereo and put new tint on and DAMN it looks good and the stereo sounds great. The guys are nice as can be and the work was well done and super competitively priced. A stripped down operation but that's why it's inexpensive. While you're there listen to the vintage vinyl they're spinning. Did I say they are super nice folks? Great work gents! Thanks tons. read more

Called them up after a tint shop in Buda failed miserably with customer service. Arrived same day I called and they got me fixed up in an hour or so. Tint looks great, guys are really nice. Only complaint is the car was filthy with soap/water but I suppose that's expected with how you tint cars, maybe some effort could be put in for preventing the over-spray on the paint. Will come here again on my next vehicle. read more

They did a great job and they were fast! I was so pleased with the results, I am coming back tomorrow to get my other vehicle completed by them! They were very reasonable and highly communicative via email and yelp which helps me plan my day without having to be on the phone. Well done AWT! read more

These guy's are excellent, very professional and helpful. The ceramic tint is excellent for reducing summer heat. I choose the limo tint for the back and 15 for the rest. With the lifetime warranty, I feel comfortable knowing I have these guy's working for me. Their work and craftsmanship is great. read more

Very impressed with this place! I had made an appointment to get my window tint done yesterday evening and unfortunately was running late while battling Austin traffic. I called to double check I'd still be able to get in and without any hesitation I was assured I would (extremely thankful they were willing to wait). When I arrived I was immediately greeted by the owners and their three cute pups. They got the job done in a timely manner and provided excellent customer service while doing so. The tint also came out great and they have very reasonable prices for all of their other services. Definitely recommend this place! read more

These guys were quick, communicated well and adequately, and the work was done well. It's been a few days and the tint looks great. They promised a warranty on the workmanship and tint, so I know I'm taken care of if something goes wrong. Free wi-fi in the waiting room. read more

I Stopped by to get my windows tinted on my Smart car today. I was quoted obscene amounts by other local shops. Great service, great work, and great prices. I opted for the 3 year warranty and was in and out in about an hour. I will be bringing my fleet to get tinted here. read more

What can I say other than they live up to their reputation. They seem to have a good time with their work and in return it shows in their work. The old tint on my car was bubbling up and I couldn't see out the back window. It now has a nice new, darker, fresh layer of tint and it's crystal clear. Much easier to see out of and now my car is worth more. It looks like a million bucks! read more

After shopping around I got the best quote from Austin Window Tint. David, the owner was great, friendly, and very knowledgable. Don't be turned off by the location of his shop! It's in East Austin but I was able to walk down the street and have some great Mexican food! The tint on my 2013 Mini looks great! I highly recommend Austin Window Tint! Thank you David! read more

I set an appointment with these guys and they were on time and courteous. We went to breakfast and came back, my MINI Cooper was almost done that fast. They put the darkest tint the law allows on all my windows plus a metallic reflective on the sun roof, what a difference! All the windows look fantastic, my air cools the car down very fast now and I love that you can't see into the car, especially when I am out shopping and have bags in the car. With no trunk the tint is important! Prices at Austin Window Tint are very competitive, as a matter of fact the same quality is almost twice as much anywhere else plus others try to sell you what you don't want or need, these guys didn't. No pressure, timely, cost effective and courteous... read more

I came here with a Beetle years ago and they did outstanding work. So I'm back! Great prices and even better product. Right down the street from my work so it's staying in the neighborhood. Thanks, Austin window tint! read more

I had to get my front windshield tinted and called Austin Window Tint (based on their 5 star rating) for an estimate. I am immunosuppressed and told Shannon on the phone that I was nervous going into a business during the pandemic. Oh my gosh, I see why they have such high reviews but they deserve 6 stars from me! I showed up for appointment and Shannon was masked, gloved and properly distanced. She offered to arrange for the waiting room to be empty and sanitize it for me in advance but I was going to leave it and come back. An hour later it was done (perfectly) and when I arrived Shannon had wiped down the interior of my car with disinfectant wipes and disinfected the seats and my keys with spray. She manually entered my credit card so that I didn't have to touch anything to pay. How is THAT for thoughtful service above and beyond? The office is clean and cool..and welcoming as are their adorable pups. The price was lower than anywhere I called, but in this case you actually get more than what you pay for. I am happy to give my business to a small local business..but especially one that does such a great job and obviously values their customers. Thank you Austin Window Tint for such a great experience!! read more

You need windows tinted if you live in Central Texas. I saw this company on my way to work and looked them up, on Yelp, and decided to check out their website. I emailed them with what I was looking for and received an email back from Shannon in a timely manner. The prices were very reasonable so I decided to give them a shot. It was a Friday and my wife and son were out of town so I didn't have anything to do after work and asked if they could get me in that day. Sure enough they were able to get me in. Their office is a cool old school house off of 1st street and setup really nice and comfortable. The tint has now been on my vehicle for several months and I absolutely love it! I'm a car guy and really like my vehicles. I'm a stickler for how they look so that's why I waited to post this review. The tint makes a huge difference in this Texas heat. I'm completely satisfied. Great customer service and a local Austin company to boot. I will highly recommend them to my family and friends. read more

I took my Mercedes C250 yesterday after work to get the windows tinted. I have to agree with Jason L who reviewed this shop. David is very friendly & professional about what he does. I purchased the certificate from Yelp for $99 for $150 worth and told David about it. He worked with me to apply that certificate on lifetime warranty window tint. He was kind enough to drop me at the bar so I can relax & enjoy a drink meanwhile he is working on my car. (There was no drink & drive involved- :) ) I called around so many shops to get the price but at the same time the reputation about the quality and the workmanship. I believe David's shop beats all other shops I called around. I am in the insurance business & customer service is a big deal for me. David & his shop satisfied all the criteria I had about window tint. I told David that I will be that one of the picky customer & he ensured me that I will be very happy with his work. I did! I still have to wait about a week or so to make sure the film settles. read more

David is awesome. His prices are unbeatable and he offers high-quality, non-metallic tint with a lifetime warranty. I've taken several different cars to Austin Window Tint and they always do it right! For me and my family, he's done a Mercedes C300, an Infiniti G35, a Mazda3, and a Mini Cooper S - all of them turned out great. read more
