If you want tinted windows from an expert installer and someone who knows the difference in all the tint options, look no fifth than Mirage Window Film! Eric is a great person to talk to while he is doing the work, he is professional and has some great conversations about travel while he's installing the tint. We no longer have the sun blaring in our eyes at dinner time. I thought that I wouldn't like tint on these windows but after a day I didn't even notice it being darker than the windows next to it (they have shades). If you want a good price and excellent work! Mirage was professional, with easy communication and timely service. Could not have been happier with the experience.

I'm not a fan of posting negative reviews for what I assume is a good local business...but this isn't going well. I reached out to Mirage through Yelp's messaging system. I set a time for a phone call for 10am the following day. After some time Mirage messaged back saying 10am wouldn't work and could we push to 10:30am. "Sure thing, no problem.". 10:30am the next day came and went. I get a message 6 hours later apologizing for missing the call and asked if we could talk then. "Sure thing, no problem". The gentlemen I spoke with was somewhat helpful but said he needed to see the windows and asked if we could schedule. "Sure thing, no problem". We schedule it for 10am Saturday morning. Well, that was over an hour ago and no sign of Mirage (or call or text). Mirage is living up to its name "Mirage - an optical illusion". I tried to be cool, understanding, easy going...but three "Sure thing, no problem"s and I run out of patience. read more

It's true, the reviews say it all! I reached out to Eric for a quote to frost my window by my front door and he was also able to do same day service, within hours. The Mirage team was phenomenal. The owner did a great job of explaining the types of film and even did a short demonstration of the films in my home. Eric was great! Called for an estimate of frosting our front door window to add some privacy, and he was able to come out the same day to get it done. Process was quick and easy. Called the number on Yelp and he picked up right away. After describing what we wanted, he explained that there were a few film options to choose from so the prices range depending on what we preferred. I texted a picture of the door so he could see the size of the project. He said he had availability that day and could stop by so we could see the options and proceed, depending on our choice. Install itself was very quick (about 15-20 minutes). He was very mindful of COVID, kept a mask on and kept a distance. When installing the film he was very meticulous, which I SO appreciate! Insuring there were zero bubbles, debris, or loose hair (we have a cat and that hair gets everywhere!!). He even redid the work when he noticed there was anything that didn't belong. Eric was also very tidy. The process involved a pretty thorough cleaning, cutting the film, etc. but the space was just as clean as we left it, which I appreciate also. read more

Eric did a fantastic job adding window film to five windows. Two of the windows are 12 ft high and arched. He was patient and answered all my questions from start to finish. Eric is very easy to get ahold of and is quick to respond. For the initial consultation, Eric provided samples and recommended the best films to reduce heat and light while maintaining privacy. He also worked with my budget without sacrificing quality. He wore appropriate COVID PPE and wore a mask through the whole installation. I highly recommend going with Mirage. Great service and very professional. read more

After the purchase of our new home, we found some very glaring problems with it that we knew we wanted taking care of right away. The biggest concern we had was with the privacy aspect. You could clear look through the front door and see the main hallway of the house and our living area. One of the bathroom windows has zero privacy tint on it and that was an issue since we had a neighbors window that basically faced our bathroom window. I messaged Eric and got a reply a couple of days later. But it was well worth it, we had a phone conversation in which he went in depth his process and his products. He then told me he would be at my place in about an hour to show me the films and to apply them. He was professional to work with, my wife and I saw exactly what we wanted and the price was right. He even gave me tips on how to professionally install window privacy film in case I ever wanted to do it on my other windows. I chatted with him during the whole process and even helped him install it a little bit. I saw his skill and his attention to detail as I watched over him and chatted. And the product...well it looks amazing. The pictures I have attached don't do it justice. I'm thankful I found Eric and Mirage Window Film and he comes highly recommended....by another "Eric". read more

I rarely write reviews but had to give a shout out to Eric and his team for helping me enhance the look and feel of my first home. I just recently purchased a townhome that faces west and receives harsh Texas sun from 2pm-8pm. I have several windows that face this direction and with summer here my home gets VERY hot. I reached out to Eric to learn more about ceramic tint. He got back to me in less than 24 hours and was onsite the day after our phone call. He is so knowledgeable which gave me a lot of confidence to trust in his business. My biggest concern with tint was that it would change the way natural light came in. I am a crazy plant lady and have plants that rest on most of the west window facing so it was important that the tint would bring in enough light so they could survive. Eric reassured me and said that my plants would continue to thrive and I would not lose the natural light aesthetic in my home. Eric was very easy and fun to work with and listened to all my concerns. He gave me a fantastic price for what I was getting- his quote was the cheapest out of 3 tint companies I reached out to. Install was super quick and his team did a fantastic job. I highly recommend Eric and his team, thank you for making my home more comfortable (and cooler) without sacrificing the look and feel of the inside. Very satisfied with the outcome! UPDATE: It has been over a month with the tint and it is crazy the difference it has made. My house is a couple degrees cooler and I can notice that if I stand near the windows, I can longer feel heat coming through like before. Another plus, is that no one would ever know the windows were tinted. I still get plenty of natural light throughout the day without any of the Texas heat, and my plants are still thriving! read more

Excellent service and the film looks beautiful. Competition didn't even return my calls and the one that did gave me a month long wait time.

My wife and I just purchased a new home and needed a window treatment to enhance the privacy of our bathrooms, and this company came highly recommended. Eric showed up with options for different texture, opacity, etc. and did a great job of explaining the benefits of each. He installed the two window films quickly and with fantastic precision and line quality, and then proceeded to recommend a similar treatment for our glass doors, which we immediately took him up on. All 4 treatments are beautiful, and the price was affordable. Eric was also funny, collaborative, and brought great experience in design and implementation to bear on the project. We plan on using him for some extendable door frame screens as soon as possible! read more

We had 4 to 6 large windows/doors in our home that could benefit from privacy film, our bathroom picture window (almost 4 feet wide) was literally looking into our neighbor's family room....yay look at me I'm clean! Sometimes I shop around sometimes I don't. He's been doing this forever and certainly a pro and the pricing seemed reasonable. I'd go 5 stars but it took a while for him to come back to complete the job after we gave him the "yes" - but that's really on me because we needed a little time to review the film options he left us. My advice would be have your SO there because he might be able to complete the job during the initial appt. We are very happy with the outcome. Way better then blinds. read more

Eric just did a great job on film covers for our front low windows. We have a dog and they are the perfect height for her to peak out of and bark at everyone going by. Eric was super friendly and his product does a great job of allowing light but preventing our dog from seeing out. I contacted Eric based on Mirage Window Film reviews after having done preliminary research on glass security film. I wanted my front door which has a center glass panel safer and more secure. Eric provided options Mirage Window Film could offer and followed up with an emailed proposal and costs. That was Monday morning and that afternoon Eric was out installing the safety and security film to the front door, following up Wednesday by applying security caulking to the film and door - enhancing the security film's properties. Friday Eric sent out his co-worker, Jose, to make sure the caulking was up to Mirage Window Film standards! Eric did an outstanding job; he was always on time, going beyond expectations to ensure a professional standard only surpassed by Eric's own desire for excellence. The job was done completely to my satisfaction - providing the additional security for the door and looking great as well. I absolutely give highest marks and recommendations for Eric and Mirage Window Film. read more

Eric installed a heat reducing film on our front door. He took Covid precautions and did a great job.

Eric installed security film on some some windows and a sliding glass door. The glass was 1970's vintage and posing a safety hazard for our wild children. We also have an exterior door with a glass window right next to the door knob, and were wanting to beef up the security of this door. When I first called Eric to inquire, he was actually on-premises and taking measurements within ten minutes! We scheduled a time, and he was flexible when I had to reschedule at the last minute. The installation went great. I would post pictures but all you would see are windows - the film is effectively invisible. Eric is a great guy and a good conversationalist, as well. We enjoyed having him around for the afternoon. read more
