This is my 2nd time having a car tinted (bought a new one) and each time Pete did a fantastic job. Great pricing and didn't change from a few years ago like everything else. Very affordable and high quality, all done very quickly- no more than a few hours! Don't go anywhere else for your tinting needs!! read more

Everything about this experience was five stars. Peter is a really nice guy and a pleasure to interact with. He answered all of my many questions and went the extra mile to explain how to care for the tint, he even gave me a workaround for putting the Texas registration sticker from damaging the tint film. Pricing was very fair. I will happily bring all my vehicles here going forward. read more

I spoke with Peter about tinting the front windows on my new car. He was very information about the different options but never tried to talk me into more than needed. He was so friendly thru out the process and the price was great. My car looks beautiful and feels fantastic in this Texas heat. I will definitely refer him to anyone in need of his service. read more

Very good quality tint, fast service, and the owner is a nice guy. I believe it was well priced, too. Next time I need another car tinted I'm coming here. read more

Awesome service, great communication! I have all my vehicles tinted here. Wish other homies around town conducted business like they do!

I had been shopping around for car tint for about 3-6 months. I finally settled on Austin tint and worked with Peter to pick a tint that would fit my needs. Peter was super responsive the whole time and I am happy with the results. I still have to wait 3-5 days before I can roll my windows down. We should be getting into the warmer sunny months very soon. That is where it will be the most noticeable to me. read more

They did a good job on my car. But recently I noticed the back windshield with several large bubbles. I attempted to call Peter (the owner) several times to get it fixed ; left many messages but no response. The job is supposed to be guaranteed... so much for warranty! read more

I've been waiting for months looking to get my windows tinted. I have a $70k car, so I really only want the best. I can't stress enough how amazing this shop is. For one: the owner, Peter, is super informative about pretty much anything you could ask him about tint, tint law, and what looks good. He also knows that what looks good on cheap cars won't look good on expensive cars, so he'll save you some money, as he's not going to upswell you on stuff that you don't need, or wouldn't look good on your car. I arrived at the shop, and got the car done the same day I heard about them. My car goes 0-60 fast, but Peter takes care of your windows even faster, and will work with your schedule Super nice guy, amazing business, I'm now trying to figure out what else I need tinted because it's really a pleasure to work these guys. Peter is wonderful! He's friendly, professional, and trustworthy. From the beginning, he was informative and took his time to understand exactly what we were looking for. You can tell he's detail-oriented and really cares about the quality of his work. We had our tint done from another business and were completely unsatisfied, so we brought our car to Peter and he turned it around. We asked a lot of questions to make sure it was done correctly this time, and he was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend Austin Tint and will definitely be coming here in the future! read more

I came back here to get the windshield film that blocks 99% UV light. I made an appointment through Yelp messaging again and service was just as great as last time! Peter is so friendly and did an amazing job! My main concern was that I had registration stickers on my windshield, but he removed them before putting on the film and then stuck my stickers back on with Sticker Shield, which makes the sticker movable and doesn't leave any sticky residue! He even gave me the rest of the Sticker Shield pack he used for when I get new stickers. I dropped my car off and walked to Bun Belly for lunch and then chilled at Sa-Ten before walking back to pick up my car. It took about 2 hours! The film makes such a difference and the inside of my car isn't as hot anymore. And hopefully now I won't get sunburned when driving long distances. (: read more

Peter was quick to reply to my email, and very professional to work with. His explanation of products and demonstration of each was thorough, with no pressure. My only regret is sitting on this information for a year before going to get the tinting done. Go book an appointment now, don't wait. He was able to turn around my CR-V within an afternoon. The results are excellent. The heat reduction is amazing. Very solid product applied by a professional. I couldn't recommend Peter and Austin Tint enough. read more

After a bad experience at Sun Tint, I found Peter at Austin Tint. Sun tint wouldn't do the job because of the amount of time and difficulty my rear window would take. Peter completed it in a day and it looks perfect. Can't recommend him enough. Thanks Peter, so glad I found you! read more

I'm pretty sure Austin Tint is the gold standard for window tinting services. Like the other reviewers have mentioned, Peter is very nice and thorough. He took the time to describe the different tinting options and carefully explained the pros/cons of each option. You can tell he genuinely cares about his business and customers. Ultimately, I got the ceramic tint and paid around $300 plus tax for everything. That's considerably less than what the dealership was trying to charge me ($1000!). If you need to get your windows tinted, I highly recommend going to Peter. He will definitely take care of you! read more

It's been over a year since I had two cars tinted by Austin Tint. I had completely forgot about writing a review until someone recently asked who we used to get our cars windows tinted. I was happy to point them in this direction. I did my homework in finding the most highly rated companies online, contacted a few to get pricing and decided on Austin Tint based on pricing, response time, and customer service. I'm so glad I did! Everything went smoothly--from making an appointment, estimated wait time, assistance in selecting tint grade, all the way to educating me on cleaning the windows and what not to do to keep the tint from cracking. The tint still looks great and has a lifetime warranty! (They informed me that even if their small business is no longer around in the future or if we relocate to a different city, any tint shop that carries the brand would be able to handle the warranty service) Peter was very pleasant to deal with and I would recommend Austin Tint to anyone that needs to tint their car windows to keep a little cooler in the Texas heat. read more

Fair pricing, friendly service! Great first impression! Peter helped me through all the technical details of choosing the right tint and even helped me with an apples-to-apples comparison of competitive films and substrates. My MINI looks and feels cool. I've taken 4 vehicles to Peter at Austin Tint over the past 3 years. I am so happy that I work near his business, because it was a simple Yelp search for "window tint near me" that led me there. There may be other tint shops that can provide a similar product and quality of work, but it's his extreme customer service sets him apart from every one else. He's fast, flexible, honest, dependable, friendly and does immaculate work. It's not an exaggeration to say that I've never had better service from any type of company I've worked with. I'll never consider going anywhere else. Thank you Peter! read more

I recently moved to Texas and wanted to get my windows tinted darker as well as with heat protection. I got several quotes from highly rated places and Austin Tint's was one of the most competitive. On top of that, my girlfriend and roommate both wanted to get their cars tinted as well and Peter was willing to give us a small group discount for our 3 vehicles. He did all 7 windows on my Durango RT (including removing the old tint), the front 2 windows on my girlfriend's Range Rover Evoque and all 5 windows on my roommate's Dodge Challenger. We all went with the ceramic tint to get the most heat protection and honestly I've felt a huge difference. It looks top notch, I love the 5% tint I had installed around all the back windows on my Durango. Would highly recommend bring your car to Peter at Austin Tint! read more

This place was Awesome! I didn't want to go with cheap stuff to tint my new car because my old car had crappy purple tint. I called a lot of other places to ask for prices on the higher quality tint and they were charging an arm and a leg for it which was discouraging. Then I called Austin Tint and their prices were the best by far! I made an appointment with them right away! This place was fast, professional, and the quality of work was great! I recommended them to my dad and he had them tint his car and his house. He was very impressed with their work too! I thought I should share with my fellow yelpers!!! =) read more

Where do I start? Peter, the owner, is a customer service oriented business person. He was super patient with me each time i've been here. I've gotten 2 vehicles taken care of by him and each time he acted as if it was my 1st time to visit his shop. The prices are right and he gives you plenty of options and explains each one thoroughly. You can tell he's not in a rush and his priority is to make sure you understand what you're buying. At least that's how I felt. Peter definitely knows his craft and trade. Obviously has many years experience. He also will tell you if he's too busy or too swamped which is awesome considering that its summer and a lot of tint places tell you yes come in drop your vehicle off and then take FOREVER to finish up (have had that experience before at other locations in austin, not by Peter). After he finished tinting, he took his time answering my questions about what needs to be done for the after care in order to make sure the tint sets correctly. I'd confidently say he's the best in Austin. I've gotten over 7 vehicles tinted in my adult life in and Around Austin and I'm always bringing my cars and trucks here from here on out. read more

I've never had my windows tinted, and only considered the job when the tint on my 1993 Toyota Previa van had bubbles nearly covering the entire surface area of the back window, obstructing my view. In a few words, getting to done on tinting my van was a seamless process thanks to Peter and his crew at Austin Tint. Here's how it went down: I called for an estimate, which Peter happily provided over the phone in the course of 5 min. I considered the (3) basic options and booked a reservation for the job, which was available the following day. The kicker in this experience, which made the whole process remarkable for me, was that Peter offered me a ride home, after drop-off. As promised, the job was complete in a single day, and the 22 y/o vehicle is looking more dashing than I remember. Peter's professionalism and kindness was a bright light for a guy with no experience or knowledge of this previously obscure field. Whenever friends ask for a tinting recommendation, I'm sending them straight to the guys at Austin Tint. Respect. read more

From the phone call this morning to the complete finish, Peter and his team are awesome. They have great pricing and service. They go over all the details for each quality of tint and help you pick the best the one. It's not a rush job, they take each individual job and work meticulously on every window. Very highly recommend and will definitely be referring them to friends and family. Friendly, super high quality and above and beyond. As it starts to heat up in Austin I found myself desiring window tint to help keep my car cool. I came to Yelp and searched around my area for a tint shop and called 4 with the best reviews. Of the 4 shops I called, Austin Tint had the best pricing. Not only was the pricing great, but Peter was very helpful on the phone. He didn't seem irritated or "too busy to talk" like some of the other shops I called. I was able to get an appointment for a few days later and when I arrived Peter and I went over the different shades of tint. His demeanor was honest and helpful, it was clear that he was very concerned about making sure I was happy with my tint. I chose to stay in the waiting area which has a very comfortable couch and WiFi, and that was all I needed! I think there may have been a TV too but I was content with my iPad. Peter finished my car much faster than I expected. In no time at all, he returned and announced my car was ready! Instead of rushing me to pay and get out the door, Peter continued explaining about proper care for the tint and the lifetime warranty that it came with. Did I mention the tint looks great? It's like I have a whole new car! Bottom line: I couldn't have asked for a better experience! As far as I'm concerned, Austin Tint has the best price, best quality, and best service in town! read more

Great service! Had sent a quote request through yelp and got reply within hours. Reasonable price. Peter is very nice! He really cares for his customers. Answered all my questions during my first visit. Showed me different types of films and helped in selecting the best one for my car. Making an appointment was also very easy. I worked remotely from the waiting room while Peter and his associate worked on the car diligently. Would definitely recommend Austin Tint to my friends. read more

Austin Tint just made my old used car look refreshed. I took in the '98 Maxima that I got for me daughter. It had old bubbling tint. Raz got his hand on it and worked magic (with lots of elbow grease) he got all of the old tint off. The new tint is amazing in quality, use and look. As part of the curing process the car was parked in the direct sun all day. I was amazed at how quickly the car cooled down on my drive home. I highly recommend Austin Tint. read more
