Peter took the time to patiently answer my numerous questions on the phone before getting my business. I called a few places, but Peter had the best price in the end and definitely the best service. I got my wifes new pilot tinted, and looking good so far. Feels cooler in the car now, and just looks better imo. The location was a bit tough to find, but seems like a good local small business to support. read more

Peter did an outstanding job, as usual. I've been going to him for the past 4 years. This is the 6th vehicle (5 cars and an RV) he's done for me, and not only does a better quality job than others, but his pricing is below the competition. Highly recommend! read more

Great experience with Peter at Austin Tint! As with the other reviews, Peter has excellent customer service skills as well as window tint expertise. He was able to squeeze me in on a couple days notice due to a last minute cancellation. Thank goodness--as y'all know....its gettin hot in here! I opted for the premium tint and couldn't be happier...my vehicle is so much cooler aside from having protection from the hot sun on the leather seats! read more

I have had three vehicles tinted with Austin Tint now. They have always been fast, competitively priced, along with a quality and precise installation. Another successful installation from Austin Tint. read more

Peter did such a great job with my window tint and was so quick! He was so helpful through the whole process. My car looks great!

I have brought each of my cars here and have also recommended Peter!! He is seriously awesome! His customer service is above and beyond, and his work is like no other!!! He takes pride in what he does! He will always have a customer in me!!!!! read more

These gents are exceptional! I called several places in the research phase and was constantly blown away by their professionalism each time. They had great reviews before drop off, and after giving them an hour with my wife's car I understand why. Super courteous dudes let me work in their office so I didn't need to come back. Surprisingly, they had it knocked out within an hour, way beyond my expectations. Provided good service, sturdy installation and educated me fully on how to care for the tint. Easily, 100%, w/ out a doubt, hands down would recommend Austin Tint. read more

Peter has done several of my cars and can't wait for him to do others. He is extremely nice and does an incredible job. Wouldn't recommend anyone else!! He is the best!! read more

I came to yelp to pick a place to do my tint, and looked at the highest rated places in my area. I went with Austin Tint because of the reviews and I'm happy I did. Peter is super friendly and was a pleasure to work with. I did the whole car (windshield too) and went with the ceramic tint. He will explain the different options for you and doesn't pressure you into getting the most expensive. I'm really happy with the work :) read more

I was new to Austin and had just bought a brand new black Honda Civic which of course gets really hot in the summer heat. I asked around and a friend recommended Austin Tint. I called Peter who was able to get me in that weekend. I knew nothing about tint since I'm from the north and no one does that in Vermont. He was able to explain everything to me which helped me select what I chose. The price was amazing compared to the other places I called and he did a perfect job. I am OCD and very much a perfectionist. I can't say anything other than I highly recommend. Definitely check them out! read more

Peter has done an excellent job on every vehicle I have taken to him. He is highly trained, and knows exactly what he is doing. He will have a friendly conversation with you while he is working on your vehicle, and still maintain great eye contact to whom he is speaking with. My overall satisfaction with Austin Tint is above par. I will continue to refer, and bring vehicles to him. Excellent job, and thank you! read more

It seems almost all the reviews I take the time to write are pretty positive, five star reviews. It occurs to me this could make look like a paid shill. I promise I am not. Perhaps I need to go some place that sucks, and write some low star review to balance things out. At any rate, Austin Tint DOES NOT suck. These dudes are great. If you call, they will take the time to chat with you, explain options, and maybe even quote you a special. Oh, and get this, they actually honor the phone quote. No upselling, no "well, we didn't realize how tough your car's angles are." None of that. Just honesty, and friendly service. The day I showed up for my appointment, we looked at various tint options just to make sure I was comfortable with my choices. They have very decent wi-fi in their waiting room area, so I was able to actually do some work while they applied the tint. I am extremely pleased with the tint job, and super pleased with their service. I like supporting a local business, and these guys deserve that support. read more

Had my car windows with SUNTEK ceramic window film 35% and clear Coolsight 90 clear windshield film about 45 days ago. Peter did a fantastic job, answered all of my questions and even provided a pack of Sticker Shields which allows your registration sticker and toll tag to be used on the clear film of the windshield. Peter even stayed a little late as I was delayed due to traffic to pick up my vehicle. The SunTek film has been outstanding in heat reduction especially on the dash and do not need to turn on the a.c. on our 70+° days we have had this winter. Highly recommended the SunTek films and Austin Tint. read more

This place is great! Peter made time to get my truck in there today just for 2 windows and was able to squeeze me in. He is a friendly guy and very knowledgeable in what he does. My truck is right off the lot and I trust he will do quality work. So far so good. Thanks peter. read more

I went here to replace my back window tint, because of bubbles on it. My tint was not initially purchased from this shop, and the replacement was covered by life-time warranty. The owner (Peter) was very kind, though. The quality of the installment was perfect. I definitely recommend this shop for your tint installment. read more

This was my first experience for tinting my car windows. The summer was a coming... and now I have a sensitive baby wee lad who was uncomfortable with the relentless Texas sun in his eyes... in winter! I knew it was time to drop some sterling on tinted windows for my master. Peter's window tinting business is in my general neighbourhood so I knew I wanted to support a local business. I drove up to the shop and walked up... just as Peter was climbing out of a car he was tinting. He explained everything to me, the whole process, gave me a mini tour, showed me the different qualities and price differences-very straight forward process. Austin Tint is a superb streamlined business with a true craftsman conducting it. I'm sure he would get a call to tint the Queen's Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost if the sun ever came out to play! read more

I've been to Austin Tint twice now, six years ago and yesterday, both times I worked with Peter. He has gone way above my expectations both times!! Excellent service, prices and quality products. I would recommend him to anyone! read more

High quality work and customer service. Only tinting company in Austin I could find with extremely knowledgeable staff, numerous options, and convenient appointments. The drop off and pick up were easy and the quality is great. Would highly recommend Austin Tint! read more

Extremely satisfied with my service. I'd made an appoint about 3 weeks in advanced through Yelp! I'd sent Peter a quote request and within hours, I was given the prices. Peter was very friendly and made sure that all of my questions were answered upon dropping off my car. He finished my car well before schedule. You would never guess that my windows weren't already tinted. For the Ceramic and windshield tint, I paid roughly $500. Highly recommend, Peter read more

Can't say enough good things about this place. Peter is so nice and suppppper good at what he does. His prices and service are the best. He even felted my crappy Jeep window seals so they wouldn't scratch my tint or glass. A level of service unmatched by anyone in Austin. read more

This place was great! In January I called for pricing/info on the various types of tint film. They took the time to answer my questions and even suggested I come by to look at the film prior to scheduling (which I chose not to do as I knew the brand quality already). On the morning of my appointment I was greeted quickly and they reconfirmed the material and shade. Then...they actually drove me home so I wouldn't have to wait at the shop! By lunch time the were finished and on the way to pick me up. The car looked amazing. The film was cut perfectly and applied flawlessly. They explained the lifetime warranty and what to do if I needed to make a claim. Now that the weather is getting warmer I am already enjoying not getting into a 100 degree car. Highly recommend. read more

This is a good place for a great window tinting job. Peter has a great personality and does what he says he's going to do at a fair price. It's not common to have the owner of the business actually doing the work and explaining all of the options available. Comfortable waiting area if you need to hang around. Professional and knowledgeable. Thanks Peter! read more

Can't complain, seems Austin Tint did a good job. I've never had tint done on any of my cars, seemed like a pretty seamless process and the quality of application looked good. read more

Peter did such a great job and was so helpful when it came to educating me on the types of tints. It was a nice and easy experience. I had my car back the same day and got exactly what I hoped for! read more

I am the owner of Truman Motors here in Austin and we have used Austin Tint for all of our business and personal tinting jobs for over 4 years. Peter is extremely experienced (20 years), professional, and quite the perfectionist. The material and service Austin Tint provides is Top Quality and a very fair price. They always do what they say when they say they will do it. I highly highly recommend Austin Tint! read more

Great customer service. Professional. Answers any questions you may have and demonstrates how each tint type works. On time. Very happy with their service. read more

Peter and his team are super quick, helpful, and generally awesome. I brought my car here about a year ago to get a full tint. The price was very reasonable, and it only took an hour or two to get the job done. Since then, I had a window replaced and it had to be retinted. I brought it back and Peter fixed it himself in about 15 minutes, free of charge (He mentioned he'd just handle it through the manufacturer warranty.). If you are looking to have any window tinting done, I'd highly, highly recommend you have it done here. They're the best! read more

I bought a black on black Mazda 3 in July and the first day I had it I knew I needed to get tint ASAP. After calling many of the stores in Austin, Peter not only quoted me on a really good deal for ceramic tint. He took the time to go over the differences over the phone since I didn't really know what I was doing. I then did my own research on tint and decided to go ahead and go with Austin tint due to the great pricing. I'm glad I did. Peter once again took the time to make sure I knew the differences of the tints and after it was done, showed me how much heat was being blocked with a little meter. Car looked real sleek when it was finished. Highly recommend. read more

I had my 2013 Mini Cooper all around with CIR 30%. Peter was really friendly&helpful, and he did a great job. The pricing and the product quality was excellent. Be careful with some other shops that provide incorrect information on products. I talked with other shops who were trying to sell me CXP (hybrid carbon) as ceramic tint without even mentioning this small detail :) Peter was very clear on products, options and pricing from the beginning. He went through all the details and showed us the differences between the products. I would highly recommend Austin Tint to anyone who wants to keep their car cooler. read more

Hands down Austin Tint is the best place in Austin to get your car tinted! I owned a car dealership for years and Peter is the only guy I ever trusted to get the job done on time or even the same day. He is honest, hard working, and trusting. So thankful to have Austin Tint in my life!!! read more

Being an avid Yelp review reader, I read all the reviews for just about every car window tinting business in the Austin area. Austin TInt was my top choice, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. On a whim, having been close by, I had gotten an estimate from another company of $409 for ceramic tint for my Nissan 370Z. Knowing that Austin Tint had advertised $240 for the same thing, I thanked the salesman and walked away. Peter was very knowledgeable - explaining the differences in tint options, explaining how the 35% law worked, and basically informing us of our options. At first, I was told it would take two hours, then an hour and a half. All in all, the total time was little over an hour. Quick, professional, and affordable! Peter did an amazing job! I would happily recommend Austin Tint to anyone who needs car tinting services! read more
