They (owner Dane Jackson) refused to back it for a quality swap-out, and lied to me at the counter, and said that he would have to contact a product REP, as an excuse to refuse to help a long time customer. They actually have a 15 day written complaint system, unknown to the customer (not displayed), and do NOT have a company built on trust, do NOT believe in quality products or doing things the right way every time, as they (family owners Jim Jackson, Dane Jackson) mention on their website. Super patient with him walking through his project, giving him a quote, working on a re-quote, and when the price still wasn't in the dad budget, helped him select some useable parts from the scrap area to work towards what he needed. And when they learned he was just starting out, they said "hold on, we've got some scrap that's too small to sell" and handed him a box with about 10 pounds of small parts and told him to go practice... which he did." (He managed to build a nightstand like table with them... not bad!) Long story short, my son has a new hobby and I will basically go here from now on whenever we need metal or welding supplies, because the level of service is out of this world.

Then they said it was probably the carburetor which also wouldn't be covered. Then they told me after they had charged the $200 that if they even looked at the mower there would be a $68 charge whether they did the work or not. They finally told me to just come get the mower. Apparently he couldn't be bothered to read two whole sentences of email and only read the one half of the word "hardie" and I was supposed to understand that he had disregarded the rest of it. Listen: Maybe if you are a builder or something that is going to buy 2000 board feet they will give you the time of day. But even then I wouldn't want to support their dishonesty. Do not come to this store expecting help unless you already know exactly what you need…read more I brought in a washing machine drain pan plug and needed help figuring out what size hole saw to use to cut an opening for the drain hose. The first employee I asked had no idea. I asked for someone who could help. I was told to go to the front desk for assistance. I waited in line, asked the cashier, and she also didn't know. I had to ask for additional assistance. She sent me to find another employee on aisle 2. Thankfully, that young man was the only bright spot in this experience. He took the time to measure the piece I brought in with calipers and helped me determine I needed a 1 1/4 inch hole saw for PVC. He was professional, patient, and genuinely tried to help. Meanwhile, the checkout situation was equally frustrating. The line grew to three times its original length. Another cashier was called up, customers moved to the shorter line, and then were told to go back to the original line until they were called over. There was no signage or clear direction, so every new customer repeatedly got in the wrong line. It was poorly set up and not customer friendly or logical. The store would benefit from more employees with subject matter expertise, stronger customer service training, and a more organized, customer friendly process for opening additional checkout lanes. I doubt I will return, which is unfortunate, because with better staffing and clearer systems this could have been a very different experience. The only saving grace was the one employee who sincerely tried to help.
