I absolutely adore this salt room! It is spacious and nicely laid out. They have 6 anti-gravity chairs set up in the room but more space to add more chairs if they have enough people booking a session. There is salt on the floor, which feels amazing to walk over. There are salt blocks on the walls. The salt blows in during the session (about 40 minutes for the session). The person working there was very accommodating and helpful when I went and the session itself helped open up my breathing after getting over a cold and having some lingering sinus issues.

Salllllllllt.... This is incredible!!! The team there is soooo accommodating! We had a private party with custom cups and everything. This Salt Cave is located at the bottom of an amazing hill. I wish I lived here, I would be walking/ jogging this steep heel all the time. It is located in a shopping center, so there is plenty of parking. There is one salt room to the right when you walk in. There are also tons of crystals and Himalayan Salt that you can also purchase. This is a large business park/building, so there are shared n restrooms you can access once you exit the back of the business. There are lockers and cubbies to store your stuff. It is advised that you don't take electronics in the Salt Room. It will get corroded. The session was very relaxing. The chairs reclined, the salt felt good on your toes, and they customized the music for you. A little Lavender & Eucalyptus towel and nice NeoSoul = Much needed rest and relaxation!!! I will definitely be back!!! Thanks for a wonderful time.

I went in with an open mind on a Saturday early afternoon and I must admit I was a bit tense from the traffic. The staff was extremely friendly and the ambiance felt like an ocean sea-side shop. The room is relaxing and the tiles of salt combined with the large salt lamps add to the mood. I reclined back for the 45 minute ride. The machine used to disperse the salt into the air is a bit noisy and detracts but as soon as you settle into a comfy spot, you start to feel your body relaxing and drifting away. I was fully expecting my hair to get crazy frizzy and for my body to feel sticky but there was none of that. There was a slight sediment on my clothes and body but nothing a little shake wouldn't release. Day 1 I felt a little calmer, and I could feel my nasal passages starting to adjust. Day 2 I could breath through both nostrils. I've lived most of my life chronically with one nostril 'out of order' so it was a treat to have them both fully functioning. A few days later my passages were fighting the good fight and I'm still for the most part enjoying the benefits of two working nostrils. I am considering going back once a month, because it not only feels like you get the benefit of relaxing but also improved breathing. I would recommend drinking plenty of water after the session.

Salt Cave was really cool, amazing how you can taste the salt in the air. Relaxing atmosphere, salt in the air, dim lights, the glow of the salt lamps. My husband and I went for our anniversary and had our two girls with us (10 and 5 years old) the kids had a blast playing in the salt and surprisingly were entertained during the whole session. Yay! Would definitely go again and enjoy the relaxing season along with the obvious health benefits.

True Rest is one of the very few places in the Austin area that offers float therapy. As a first-timer and now a member, each float benefited me personally with relaxed muscles, soothed joints, and therapeutic sleep. Working at a desk job all week tenses my shoulders and back. It's uncomfortable and stresses me out. But I've felt rejuvenated after each float session. I like to compare it to an experience at the chiropractor, but without the cracking of the spine or neck. The magnesium in the 1,000 lbs of epsom salt in the float pod naturally decompresses my spine, which in turn relaxes my muscles. I'm often in such a relaxed state that I fall asleep while floating, which I hear is the optimal state for a float. Each float pod is in its own private room, and there's a shower with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash to wash off all the resaltan afterwards. They also have a free oxygen bar after floating, and a delicious sweet, Egyptian Licorice tea that I like to drink afterwards. They have a get-ready room for anyone needing to go to a function afterwards, and their restrooms are always kept clean and well-stocked. I have also used their vitality suite, which offers a Norwegian sauna, red light therapy, and a cold plunge. I take advantage of all 3 during my sessions and I've been satisfied with the benefits that come from pairing all 3 together. I think a membership there is worth it as it really cuts down the per session cost. That said, I go weekly that serves as my end-of-week reset before the next work week starts.

All the amenities were available at the time of visit. I opted in for a no chip pedicure that lasted the full service time. The service provider Marissa took her time with my service and paid attention to detail. Service menu items pricing are reasonable to the amenities that are included. The amenities (whirlpools, sauna, steam room) are shared across both genders, therefore a swimsuit must be worn at all times. Separate locker rooms though which include showers, restrooms, and dressing rooms. Food and drinks (alcohol also) are also available for purchase without leaving the spa area.

The booking process itself is easy, though I wish there was better signage outside of the actual building so the spa entrance is easier to locate. The spa has it's own elevator and is separate from the water park so you don't have to worry about being interrupted by the sounds of the kiddies enjoying themselves. After checking in at the lobby desk, what was behind the doors took me by surprise. The halls are decorated beautifully with photos of African women and the perfect amount of lighting. Lockers rooms are separate but the main areas (relaxation lounge, hot tub, pool) are coed. The locker rooms were clean but a bit too toasty for me. I'd prefer there to be more air circulation. After changing into your robe you are instructed to wait in the Relaxation Lounge which has tea, water, fruits, and a variety of couches for you to truly relax. Be careful because you might actually fall asleep in there! I booked a facial and full body massage package. Both were amazing! The rooms have heated tables, relaxing music, and friendly workers. Whatever questions I had, they were able to answer with confidence and even offer alternation solutions. After my services I enjoyed a complimentary glass of champagne, I expected to do halotherapy since I thought it was free with a package however, it is only discounted. I plan to return to indulge in more self care and will likely check out the halotherapy.
