My insurance never covers anything the doctor recommends to help resolve my chronic back pain, so I always have to explore out-of-pocket costs. Most recently, for a 15 minute injection procedure that my insurance once again denied, they offered me out of pocket costs of: Doctor - $250 Anesthesia - $250 Facility costs - $11, 286 That's an outrageous cost for a 15 minute injection. If you need to see the doctors here, they've always been great. But be wary of the surgery center - they are only there to squeeze as much money out of you as possible at exorbitant prices. Don't worry, your insurance company will get a contractual cost that is a fraction of that, but for those of us normal Americans, we get the highest price possible knowing they can try and prey on your desperation to make money. Find another surgery facility if you need something done.

I opted to not be sedated but once I was halfway through the procedure I felt nauseous and made the comment..."I think I should have been sedated." He said well I could have given you a Valium. That was never mentioned before. And after I got home I was in sever pain, and my foot was numb. So I called t he office. 3 hours later the doctor called and told me that it was normal and temporary and acted irritated that I dare bother him with such trivial matters. And to call him the following day. This guy has zero communication skills, the bed side manner of Atilla the hun, and no compassion at all. I have already made an appointment with another doctor. Wish I could get my $500.00 back. The procedure not only failed but it made the pain worse. Thanks for nothing DOC

I came in here for two separate occasions. once for two spine steroid injections in my t4 and t5…read moreand my second visit I had steroid injections into my left hip. both times I was walked through the process and was checked in in a speedy process. the nurses took me in the back and prepped me before the injections. The injections were quick and smooth (not going to say painless because that would be lying) but if you can't have it a little pain, they have the option for a local and aesthetic. If you are dealing with back or hip pain or pain in general your body, I would highly recommend scheduling a visit through your doctor.

I had the opportunity to have him do a nerve block on me in 2011 and found him to have a wonderful manner. But, make sure if you are looking for Dr. Manees you realize that he is no longer with the practice. After being a patient since 2009, I left CTPI and went to another Pain Management Practice. I also have been to their associated Surgicenter, my Pain Mgmt Dr has performed two Nerve Blocks on me and I have had GREAT relief. I have found the staff at their Surgicenter to be efficient, wonderful, and just very perfect when you are in pain. Also, their billing is integrated with the Doctor (you can go somewhere else) but I have not had any billing issues, where I had significant billing issues with the Pain Relieft SurgiCenter. I wish I could still give this place multiple stars, but after going elsewhere and having my care integrated with a management plan well looked after--no frustrations where I'm worrying about are they just trying to get the "track" that will give them more money--I cannot give the Pain Relief SurgiCenter anything. I wish I didn't have to give them a star at all. Find another doctor. The staff is nice but you can find better.

I hardly ever write reviews... but this one is long overdue…read more I had been seeing Dr. Raffi for about a year, and due to personal reasons I had to switch Dr's for maintenance of flair ups. I'm starting an intensive physical therapy program and hoping I won't need maintenance for too much longer. That being said, I am grateful for the time I had with Dr. Rafii. Dealing with a chronic pain condition can be stressful for the Dr. and patient both. But navigating those waters of trial and error didn't seem bad at all with him. It felt more like a team collaboration. Even when times were easy to give up and refer me out...he didn't. It was actually that exact act of kindness that made me want to explore outside of the box of just traditional pain meds. I felt like I had a cheerleader as cheesy as that sounds. It's really hard to find a good Dr. these days and especially one that makes you WANT to get better. Kuddos to you, Dr. Rafii. Thank you for your help. I would definitely refer you to anyone in need.

This was our second visit to Dr. Raffii and his MA Rosa…read more It's an extremely pleasant and well organized pain management center. The front office has many processes that assist in this level of organization. We have never experienced wait time here. Tom is so appreciative that Dr. Raffe takes his pain issues seriously and worked to find a potential treatment in pain relief for him. (Life changed for us when we had a serious motor vehicle accident 4/2/2022. Our plans to travel during retirement may have to be on a very limited basis based on Tom's back and neck pain.) His PCP and Neurosurgeon despite being great physicians weren't able to offer a plan of action. The consultation at Diagnostic Pain Management has offered some hope. Dr. Raffii ordered an MRI to see about his spinal column status. We are here to review the results. Although at our age it is expected that there will be arthritis, there appears to be some fluid that is likely caused from the incident. Hopefully the test injection that Tom will undergo next week, will support him going forward with the appropriate medication to help in controlling the pain in the lower back. He treated me on both sides. Half hour on front then I sat in a chair because of concern of laying on my belly with the rotator cuff issue. He applied needles to the back of ny head both sides by upper neck. After treatment he gave me a herb for sleep. Five minutes after I got back in my car I felt a complete release of my lat that was pulling on the shoulder which was incredible. I took the sleep herb and got 44 minutes of deep sleep that night. I usually get between 2 min and 30min. The staff was pleasant and I am looking forward to going next week.
