I came to see Dr. Tran for a consultation in July. This was at the Ascension Seton Round Rock location. The appointment itself was supposed to be an hour long, yet I only saw Dr. Tran for 15-20 minutes max. The appointment felt rushed after waiting a long time and I left feeling unheard. He had no bedside manners and it seemed he had more important things to handle vs my appointment. I had questions and all his answers were very vague. I asked if my problem could be a spinal or scoliosis issue, but all he said was no, without any explanation of why. He mentioned that my symptoms were definitely odd and he recommended me to do an MRI, then a follow up appointment.
I did the MRI end of July and I still have not heard back from him nor his office. I did receive a message regarding a note he wrote himself possibly about PT, but that was it. I called the office and asked if I needed to come in for a follow up or if they were going to refer me to a PT place, but nothing!
I am still suffering from my issues and I feel like I'm back at square one. I went to him knowing he was a spine specialist, thinking he was able to help me or provide some sort of relief, but it was just a waste of time and money.
Overall, I wish I had a better experience with Dr. Tran. I only went to him because of all the positive reviews and high praises. Unfortunately, my appointment with him did not reflect that. I'm glad I got the MRI done as I would have to get it done eventually, so thank you Dr. Tran. As for the follow up, I am better off looking for another spine specialist who handles patient communication better. read more
