This place won't last a year. I was part of a group of about 12 people or so, our ages ranged from 20's to 50's, and we decided to go out for a drink after a business event. We got to Aurea Vista just before 8pm on a Thursday night and they weren't not opened yet. We waited until after 8 and I knock on the door when an employee was near by. He looked at his watch and seemed mildly annoyed that he had to let us in. A far cry from welcoming us in with a smile. The place was large and beautifully decorated with antique furniture. There was a band on the stage setting up, and a few of their friends, and just us in the place. We took a seat in the corner and waited for a cocktail waitress. After about five minutes I went to the bar and asked if we can get a waitress and we were told there wasn't one and we had to order at the bar. The bartender then said that he'll be over in a few minutes to take our order. I went back to where we were sitting and waited. The music playing on the jukebox wasn't to my taste, so I went over, put in some money and selected some songs. The bartender, who still hadn't come to take our order yet, came up behind me and asked what songs I was choosing and then peered over my shoulder at my choices and even questioned one of them. By the way, did I mentioned that except for the band and their friends (who were mostly hanging out outside by now), we were the only ones there? After about five minutes, my girlfriend and I finally went to the bar to just get our drinks ourselves. The bartender was making a cocktail for someone with the band, which literally was taking him about 5 minutes. I've never seen such a thing. He eventually got to us and we ordered our drinks, which took him an unreasonable amount time to make. When we got back to our group and they saw we had drinks, they all went to the bar while we sat alone. We drank and finished our cocktails and our group was still at the bar waiting for theirs. We went outside for a cigarette and when we came in, our group was still at the bar waiting for their drinks. My girlfriend wanted another drink, so i went to the bar and asked a friend to get one for me while she was waiting for hers. She seemed annoyed and confused at how slow the bartender was. He was so slow, I was suspicious that he was crawling on purpose. On my way back, I noticed someone had roped off the jukebox. When our group finally joined us with drinks, we hung out for a while while we drank. When we were done, we left to go to another bar around the corner. If this place had their act together, they would have gotten 3 or 4 rounds from a large group on a night that otherwise was dead. Instead, they got one round plus a drink from about a dozen people who will never go back. read more

I was there on August 6th. The staff member checking the ID totally bend my ID and cracked it. Then he even asked for another card with my name! I understand it's protocol to make sure it's a valid ID, but come on! Cracking my ID was unprofessional! The only reason why I didn't ask to speak to a manger was because I am renewing my ID next week and I didn't want to make an unpleasant evening for my friends. Once club was over, this white guy which was a staff member was running up and down the stairs tasing the air. Then he got into an intense argument with a young black woman. As a staff member or a "want to be security" you are there to calm any situation. Arguing with drunk people is by far the dumbest thing an employee can do. It was unpleasant to see and hopefully management can pay attention to the publics feedback. I liked this club but I'm not sure if I want to give it another chance. read more

Come to dtr frequently, we were having a good night out and wanted to go somewhere after dinner, so we went here. There is a no sports apparel dress code, but they do have a coat check. My husband was wearing a lakers jacket, which is very dressy. Anyways, the Secuirty check in stated he cannot come in due to his laker jacket. I do understand this as sports attire isn't allowed at most clubs, however the establishment does have a coat check from previous experience... we asked if we could check the coat and the manager who was a shorter lady with tattoos and teal color on the end of her hair, 4/16/22, stated we could "f off" and it wouldn't happen tonight"... we were even interested in bottle service as we were celebrating a great work and personal achievement and she drove our business away. Welp. I suggest the business obtains more qualified management...that doesn't loose business. read more

i really enjoyed my experience here! the place is very large and comfortable, the bar stools are really nice, the staff is super friendly, and i have to say- the food is really good! we shared the Bavarian pretzels and i had some of the fried shrimp. both were tasty! the drinks were also well priced (unlike sevilla's who totally gouge you!). overall, i really like this place. considering i think i'm a bit too old for the club atmosphere, this was more comfortable than i expected! i'll be back! read more

We went to the club last night around1:30,right after we paid for the drinks staff turn the lights on and asked us to move up stair. When we come up they kinda rush us to leave and throw my drink after I used a restroom? All my friends just got outside and cannot finish that: I write the comment not because your place is not good,we used to come here a lot loved all decoration everything look nice but after last night we won't be back again. *they took our money and threw us out* read more

If you know how to act this place is quite pleasant ! Club is spacious . Dont feel all crowded like other places in Dtr

This place was pretty cool. Came out from Orange County to watch Richard Vission and Bad Boy Bill on a saturday night. Mixed drinks - great price and they put enough alcohol in them. The place is pretty big, the layout is good. We found parking a block behind the building on Lemon Street, it's street parking (you pay only if it's a weekday). Price is to get in is awesome. I would come here again. read more

I do not fault the bartenders on this. This bar kicked me out for getting sick in the bathroom. Never mind that I have the stomach flu and tried push through this visit for Valentine's Day, they'll throw you out for any reason, even if they don't make enough to be open every day at a reasonable time. Her reasoning for me being drunk was because I talk with hands and I spilled 1/2 a shot of beer on MY shoes. This was a chick with medium-length hair with green-ish dye and claims to be a server. This bar is a joke and I'll be going to Pixels from now on. This bar is sad and I wish I could award no stars. read more

I Ordered some don Julio 1942 for 45 a shot I buy bottles of 1942, and no the taste of what they gave me for the price wasn't 1942 only recommend that you buy beer straight from tap or whatever they have mixed drinks are worth but don't order shots they don't have the right stuff unless you're really up to it you'll see the taste isn't right ! Price for don Julio at clubs is a bit overpriced but I understand money wise but what I got tasted like lemon juice and mix of tequila straight from the bottle read more

Not a riverside local, but wow, didn't realize this place was so sexist! Was having a good time to start, girls were dancing on the main stage, when all of a sudden, my gay male friend wanted to get up on stage too. Security was so quick to kick him off and kick him completely out of the club!! One of them literally said to me they don't allow guys to dance on the stage!!!! "Those are the rules." Wowww!!! I seriously couldn't believe my ears! Sounds like owners definitely don't believe in equality for all people; and continue to marginalize others. Wish I could give this place ZERO stars!!!! read more

Now that I'm 30 and always tired whenever I go out I make sure I go somewhere that I enjoy. Aurea Vista is that place for me. Christina is also one of the main reasons! She is a stand out employee who always makes sure we are taken care of and is so friendly. I either follow her to pixels or here. Either way amazing staff and always great drink specials. read more

I usually love coming to this place and having a good time but last night was a bit upsetting. My friend and I go up to the bar, I ask if they accept Apple Pay, which they say no, fair enough, my friend jumps in and says he's got it and will pay for my drink with cash instead. He underestimates how much he actually has so we leave the tequila sunrise at the bar. The bartender physically pulls it back and of course we're not offended, it's part of her job. We weren't able to get cash out because we both didn't have our cards on us so we told her we wouldn't take it. 5 mins later on the dance floor, TWO bouncers pulled my friend outside and told him he was getting kicked out for "stealing" a drink. I'm not sure if the bartender lied or what exactly happened but y'all have access to your security cameras, that was really out of line and uncalled for. He had just bought our drinks prior to having to leave that drink behind so I'm genuinely at a loss for words. read more

Had a great time last night at Aurea Vista. This place is just what downtown riverside needed. I felt like I was waking into a club in gaslamp or Vegas. Very fun and great customer service. who is the manager or owner of this place? me & my friends got blacklisted with no info as to why. everytime we come we wait in the line for 30 minutes just to be denied by the rude lady dimple piercings.. when we've asked to speak to a manager she says "i'm the supervisor & don't have to tell you anything".. do better read more

I just have to mention this... ever since posting this their employees are harassing me on here and social media being extremely rude (I have proof) Let's leave this in the hands of the big boys; the BBB. Absolutely horrible establishment. They have no idea in regards to customer loyalty as business owners. I have been going to pixels since back when they first opened and started going to aura vista once they opened that establishment. They did not let my fiancé and I in because I was wearing an "Adidas jumpsuit". I saw the owner and approached her immediately very kindly about not being let in and she said "yes, you cannot wear this attire tonight" ...what does "tonight" mean? I've worn the same exact outfit matching with my fiancé and have been let in before; Talk about racism especially in today's epidemic ...I will make sure to tell everybody that I know not to come here anymore. You cannot screen individuals and discriminate who is walking into an establishment. That in itself is called racist/ bias. (Just so individuals are aware I am a Sicilian/ Russian woman whom this situation occurred to) Off-topic and irrelevant to what just happened to my fiancé and I; however, has anyone ever seen a Hispanic or African American bartender at either of their establishments (not that they own aura vista because as a business owner myself I KNOW FOR FACT they do not own that location) ... kind of feeling racist vibes now that I think about it. Get some REAL money and actually own your property. I OWN everything MY establishment run out of. HATER. Do not come here at all. Personally we used to go there because of the music however you can go to Worthington's which is right around the corner and has way better customer service :) I will first thing Monday morning 100% be reporting you to the Better Business Bureau. read more

i am an avid supporter of AV, i lived in the area and LOVE coming w friends, but after tonight i will not be back. i came tonight w some friends, wearing a durag. i have come in a durag before. tonight security took my durag from me, and said they "had to take durags and bandanas" but didn't take my friends head scarf. and i didn't put up a fight bc i know that this is just a policy that they have to enforce-- i've worked in customer service for YEARS so i know what it's like to enforce policies that aren't personally yours! but when i tried to get manager information at the end of my night the security guard walked away from me-- i'm just trying to understand this policy bc it FEELS extremely racist!!! i didn't cuss anyone out, i wasn't rude or disrespectful, i made sure of that! and still no one could provide me w an explanation and actually showed me they don't care at ALL about what this feels like for Black people or Black women which is extremely rude and messed up!! until i can get this figured out i won't be back. read more

Great music and ample room for dancing, however terrible customer service which will deter me from ever coming back.

So it's been a while since I've been to a club, the class has gone way down, dress code is like WHAT DRESS CODE!!! Guys wearing tennis shoes , hoodies, t-shirts, and DJ's are punks, I was trying to give the DJ $40 just to say Happy bday to my friend and he shook his head NO! No fing class in this place, I had VIP and spent close to 1K, waitress came around only once! No class in this place! read more

Honestly I've never had a problem with this place until last weekend. I came her with my fiancé and his two cousins. We got there a little early and where able to get a table in the front. We started out sitting and having a few drinks. Once the music got better and people started dancing we all decided to stand up and dance too. Our drinks and jackets were all on the table and out of the corner of my eye this guy who was with his two girlfriends put his gum on our table next to all our stuff...no napkin no gum wrapper just his nasty gum. I looked at my fiancé like "did that really just happen?! How nasty can you be?!" So I taped the guy on his shoulder and asked him to take his gum off the table that we are clearly sitting here. The girls he was with were staring me down but I really dont care...clearly he was guilty because he grabbed it right off the table. So I thought that was the end of it so we kept dancing. Next thing you know the guy gets tired of holding HIS gum and throws it right by our feet...either you're lazy af or you're just gross. At that point take responsibility for your shit..we all know it's yours. So once that happened I kicked his gum back and all of a sudden the 3 of them want to get all tough over something that's theirs lol....grow up people and learn to throw your stuff away! Especially your gum! So when they started yelling at us for kicking HIS gum back we told the guy sweeping the floor to come pick it up since they were to lazy. Why be so strict at the door and take peoples gum packs away but when it's right in your face the bouncers do nothing? Double standard!! read more

Horrible place!!! Went here Saturday night and the bouncer slammed the bathroom door on my cousin who is a girl and instead of taking responsibility for his action decided to kick us out. Another bouncer got in my face  talking about how tired he was of women acting like they have balls because I asked to speak to The manager. The women who is the so called manager or owner  did nothing but ignore us and act like we were the attackers didn't even bother to check if my cousin was okay. I've been here a couple of times mainly for the music they play downstairs on Friday nights. However, the last friday i went was such a bad experience i had to make a yelp account just to share it. To start with, the staff is so damn rude. My friend was holding a water bottle while in line(we weren't even close to the door yet) and one of the staff members snatched it from her hand and threw it away. My other friend went to use the restroom at another place and when she tried to join us in line that same staff member yelled at her to go to the back and if she didn't listen she would be banned. Maybe my friends were in the wrong both times, but he treated them both like kids, yelled at them and was super rude in front of everyone. There's different ways to talk to people , especially girls. I go up to the door the girl looks at my id and then asks me to see a debit or credit card that matched. I asked her why and & she said "new policy". But she didn't ask no one else & I've never been asked to show a debit card when trying to get in a bar. I was uncomfortable the whole time after that and kept checking my bank account. I knew I shouldn't have showed her, but i was already in a bad mood and just wanted to forget and have a good time. When we were leaving there was a guy outside who was visibly wasted. One of the staff members pushed him so hard he almost fell. A couple minutes later another staff member flagged down a cop car and next thing you know all these cops are surrounding this poor drunk guy. I get it, super drunk guys can be a problem, but why take that extra step and get him in trouble when he clearly needed help. I'm sure his friends were still inside and probably had no clue. It just made me sad. Maybe i see things different. But I'll never be coming back to this place. I can point out one or two bartenders that were amazing. And again the dj downstairs was the reason i kept coming back. But never ever again. Rude rude rude staff. read more

The venue is beautiful and the music was great. The reason for my low review is that it was insanely hot inside! It was so aweful that I will never return again. I asked one of the employees if the ac was on and he stated that the owner does not want to run it because he's cheap! Meanwhile I paid $20 for my husband and I to enter and $58 for 5 drinks! It seriously upsets me that they don't care about their customers enough to run the ac!! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!! read more

Enjoyed this club. The vibe amazing everyone is so friendly and the club is so pretty with nice lighting where it needs to be. 2 floors with different styles of music on top or bottom.
