I was like dude it's 3 am, you just woke up..normally people are red when they first wake up. I didn't see the swelling at first. Even if I didn't see it at first. He's very in tune with his body and knows it best. We started calling emergency dentists about 6 am. Husband just pretty much walked into this place and they took him right away. Our son has had a tooth abscess before and it moved to under his eye, which could be deadly if the drainage went to his brain. Husband was rightfully paranoid and just wanted to know if it needed to be taken care of ASAP or would he be okay until he gets back to DFW. Long story short. Dr Huynh gave him pain meds and antibiotics. Told him he needed the tooth out soon or retreat of root canal, but nothing immediate. The hygienist was very thorough, they cleaned her teeth and polish them. Even I, being her daughter, saw a difference between her teeth before the appointment and after the appointment. I am very impressed with the hygienist at this location. After getting her teeth cleaned, the dentist closed her fillings. My mom was very pleased with the work. She was so thankful that this office was not trying to sell her on things that she did not need to get done. While they did mention her need for a crown, they did not sell her on any ancillary charges or bogus treatments for her teeth. My mom hates going to the dentist. And she doesn't like the dental field because she feels that they're very pushy and the make up charges or work without very much proof. But she was so pleased with this dental office, she couldn't stop stop sharing her experience with me. she's looking forward to her next visit in six months.

In fact the crown is gold and would not fit originally, due to the bite being slightly off. Because of this the doctor put two holes in my crown attempting to fix my bite margins. No one wants to take responsibility for the terrible and incomplete work of the previous doctor. I was specifically told that I myself created the holes in the crown due to grinding my teeth, which they had no evidence of me doing, and I say again this is a gold crown it was only in my mouth a few months. This is absolutely unacceptable. Do not get dental work here, especially if you want to be treated with respect, or have excellent dental care.
