Great Pretzels, but they never answer the phone. They say they'll deliver to mall employees but how would they if they never answer?!

Imagine our surprise to find this location to be so much more warm & welcoming. Clearly, based on the theme, we are not among the target clientele, yet, you wouldn't know it based on service & customer interactions, many were regulars. Tons of games available & interesting decor. Here, I had a very tasty pineapple Cameo IPA. Being as I'm not usually an IPA fan, I'm not sure if that's a compliment or an insult. Either way, I was happy! The hubs had Cure Dark Wounds, which was also tasty but I liked mine better. We didn't order food but others were recommending selections and there were several pick up orders while we were there, so, probably worth a look.

This was also brewery #284 for me! Natural 20 has a nice sized taproom with a smallish bar at the front. It was pretty slow when we walked in which was cool for us as we got to chat with the gent working the bar and another guy that was there. I did not do a good job of reviewing each beer I tried because we were talking too much. That said I enjoyed the beers but weirdly I'm going to comment on the food more. SWPFTD ordered a pint while I got a flight. Of the ones I tried I liked Featherfall and Dual Spires the best. We also ordered some lembas bread with bacon and a bratwurst sandwich with bleu cheese, the Dracoliche. Really good! The people were super friendly, the vibe and beers were really good, and the food was solid. Score! If anyone is a glutton for punishment, please, follow my brewery, and distillery, reviews from across the U.S. and beyond! https://www.yelp.com/collection/-8iscFkpiiCI563-FDfwGg and if anyone is wondering who SWPFTD is you will have to check out my review of Black Market Brewing Co in Temecula, CA to understand. Yes, you will need to read into it a little to get the joke but I have confidence in you! I hope my confidence is not misplaced.

Every contact I've had with Grain Shed employees has been more than pleasant; they truly seem to enjoy working there, and take good care of their customers. I need to shout out to Toby and Audrey before I go on. They each provided 110% on customer service, being personable and making sure we left happy. On 2 separate trips to Spokane, I've visited the Grain Shed 3 and 4 times over the course of 3 days (yes, if you do the math, I went twice in 1 day, and the restaurant was NOT just around the corner!) Everything I've tried is delish, but in case you have to limit yourself, I highly recommend the OG, the beets and feta toast, the bread flight with sauces and cheese, the molasses ginger cookie, and maybe a chocolate croissant. I've heard their bread pudding and pumpkin pie (holiday special) are out of this world! I tried to get over to listen to their live music before leaving town, but still need to squeeze that into my schedule. Travelers: save space in your luggage for a loaf of bread. Sadly, no shipping at this time, but I'm waiting for it! This SoCal resident is officially The Grain Shed's #1 fan. I dare any of you to try to take away my title!

The Grain Shed does a farm to table model and is a bakery and brewery. I got a snack here along with a beer and left quite satisfied. I got a Grilled Cheese Sandwich on some of their house made bread with some Cheddar, Swiss and Provolone cheese. The exact name for this sandwich is the Cheesy Toastie. And of course moving on to the beer... the primary motivator to come here. I got the Kölsch beer here called Field Trip. I do love a good Kölsch as they are nice, light bodied beers. And they are especially nice in the summertime. Flavor features in this beer is maltiness, breadiness, a bit of hoppiness and a dry finish. Another beer that Steve and I tried was the INWPA which was a Pale Ale. It was also a nice light bodied beer which again hit the spot despite it being a different drinking session. Flavor characteristics in this beer is citrus, a yeastiness, hoppiness and a biscuity trait. Good beers and sandwiches and we are aiming for a return whenever we are in Spokane again.

From the start, the experience was…read moresmooth--excellent customer service over the phone when placing our to-go order made everything quick and easy. When we arrived, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, and the guy at the bar was genuinely friendly and helpful, which always makes a difference. The food prep was impressively fast, and everything was packaged neatly and thoughtfully for takeout. We started with the pretzel, which was solid, but the real standout was the mustard--super unique with a tangy, spicy, almost wasabi-like kick that made it memorable. For mains, the curry dish hit a great balance--flavorful without being overpowering or too mild. And the biggest endorsement came from my daughter, who ordered the kids pasta with marinara and added chicken--she declared it the "best spaghetti she's ever had!" (Shh... don't tell mom.) Overall, great service, tasty food, and a welcoming vibe. The only reason it's not a full 5 stars is I'd love to explore more of the menu next time--but based on this visit, we'll definitely be back.

Outside they have plenty of tables for enjoying the weather while you eat. I was immediately sat when I walked in. Now the bad part, the service. Man the service is bad. This is not a reflection on my server. I believe they don't staff enough people. Others have complained as well. She was n ie and helpful with the menu. It just took 10 minutes before anyone offered me a drink. I ordered my drinks and Thai Rice Bowl in Peanut Sauce. The food took about 15 minutes come out. I was half done before she did a checkup on the food. Again, you can't do everything if you are the only server.when the food runner brought my food out, I thank him. He replied..,"Yep." And walked away. Very sterile and cold. The Thai Bowl had plenty of the very flavorful peanut sauce. The chicken was dry and just not very good. But the rice and vegetables were delicious!!! I'd absolutely get the dish again! The food gets 4 stars, but the establishment's staffing and service get 2 stars.

There were a vast variety of gourmet chocolates and handmade caramel apples. There was so much to choose from that I wanted it all and knew I'd have to come back. Service was outstanding and bummed I didn't catch the employee's name who helped us. She was really nice, patient, informative, and knowledgeable. Although they didn't have the two choices of ice cream I wanted--there were so many more flavors to choose from and I wasn't disappointed at all. So here's what I got: -Double scoop in a cup: one scoop of Fat Elvis and one scoop of Superman. Fat Elvis had a great banana taste that wasn't too overpowering and the peanut butter balanced it well and the chocolate chips gave each bite a good crunch. The Superman is a blend of three different ice creams, which oddly reminded me of bubble gum ice cream from the ice cream truck as a kid, but even better. Hard to describe but tasty if you're looking for something sweet versus chocolatey. -Caramel Apple Pie caramel apple (unsliced). They offer to cut it up if you want, which is nice. I waited until I got home since I was having ice cream. The apple was so yummy! The apple itself was tart and sweet, the sweet white confection coating was tasty but not sure if it was supposed to resemble the crust of apple pie but nonetheless still great, and the added cinnamon sugar gave it it's apple pie touch. -The Gold Digger Caramel Marshmallow: it was a marshmallow on a stick dipped in caramel, then rolled into rice krispie cereal, then dipped in chocolate to finish it off. I enjoyed this and liked how the cereal gave it a crunch and balanced out the sweetness of the marshmallow. All in all, I love that I discovered this place and can't wait to come back for more ice cream and try a handful of other different treats!
