I can never pass up an Auntie Anne's when I'm at a mall. I love taking advantage of their rewards app. They give you a free pretzel with every 250 points and a free pretzel on your birthday. My husband and I weren't planning on going to get a real meal until later in the day, so we stopped by our favorite mall pretzel place for a simple snack. The employees were clearly tired already because she seemed irritated by the idea I wanted to use my rewards. The transaction was quick and we didn't really have any other complaints. I don't really get upset when people get attitudes with me at places like that because I know they deal with intense customers all day, but it would have been nice to at least have them act like they aren't mad you decided you wanted a pretzel. Overall, I still love Auntie Anne's but don't expect this location to have employees who act like they are glad to be there. read more

Was really craving a pretzel after work the other day, drove almost 30 minutes in traffic to satisfy the craving! I got the regular pretzel bites, spicy cheese dip, and a Diet Coke. Awesome snacks when shopping in this mall since not much going on except to grab a snack on the go and some liquids for rehydration since majority you are just walking around this empty space. This is an odd Auntie Anne's, but the food is as good as you'd expect. They also have frozen yogurts! I'm giving this 2-stars because the place is set up weird - the logistics of the "seating area" aren't great. I also wish they'd monitor people who have just come in to sit down. Water Tower Place doesn't have many seating options, so people just come here to take up space so that patrons of AA's don't have anywhere to sit! So I went to Auntie Anne's for the first time today, and it was a great way to end a long day of shopping! Ever since my boyfriend had Auntie Anne's about a week ago, he had been going on and on about them. So since we were in water tower, I decided to give it a try! They have a pretty good two-for deal: two items (original stix, cinnamon stix or a pretzel dog) for $5.50. I got the cinnamon stix and the bf got the pretzel dog. Both were delicious! The cinnamon stix were super sweet, and probably really bad for you, but I couldn't help it! The pretzel dog was juicy and warm, which is a dangerous combo! I first asked for a cinnamon sugar pretzel (a classic), and they told me they were out. So they offered me the sticks, which were more expensive. Unfortunately the sticks they gave me were clearly old. They were hard and tasted horrible. To top it off, I asked for tap water and they turned me down. Came here one weekend during business hours and they had closed early. Not a soul in sight.

I was on my break (I work inside water tower) and was told my order would be about 5 minutes. I waited for about ten minutes and realized I had to start my shift so I asked if I could just get my money back, the manager asked what I ordered and if I had my receipt. I explained to her that I had not been given a receipt by the lay who took my order but I had just ordered. She gave me a dirty look and asked how I had paid and proceeded to talk to both myself and the girl who had taken my order (who remembered that I did, in fact, order a pretzel dog) She had a terrible attitude with both of us and when she gave me my money back said: "I really hope you had paid cash" when I had just given them exact change. From the minute I walked in it was a bad experience. The staff was not friendly and of the two areas for toppings The first was a mess with toppings dropped all over. You could see no was keeping up with it to keep it clean. The second are was missing about 75% of the selections and were empty. A large group was standing at the register for about 5 minutes. The employees never asked if they needed help or to move to the side. I did finally ask if they were in line and they said no. I finally get to the area to weigh the food and they continue to serve others in the pretzel line. After a few more minutes they say it will just be a few minutes and they continue to serve the other. At this point it's been so long that the yogurt is melted and I tell them I don't want it.
