The song selection are limited, more foreign selection than anything . They will give you the reason - they don't have rights-. Been in many karaoke spots to know that isn't it. Nice concept I love. the whole experience, but the room for medium is small people will be snugged on the sofa (Tiffany Room) not enough for 10 people. You will spend your time trying to find a song. Loved it. BYOB is the best and we're we're able to bring our own food which was great too! Got the Tiffany room for 11 people was nice but definitely getting a bigger room the next time. Seriously one of the funnest experiences ever. I like going out but i have social anxiety but this definitely makes it better and more fun bc it's just a private room with just your friends. read more

It was really hard to find music in their Karaoke system. It took us about 10 minutes to figure out the system, whilst making it inconvenient that they did not have a remote control to log music. Much of the music as in Chinese writing, making it hard to find any songs that I waned. They also don't serve alcohol, which was a bust. The sum up the place, the Karaoke system being hard to function, and in a language not familiar for those who don't read Chinese, made the place hard to enjoy. & it was really expensive. read more

I like this place a lot! That being said, there were some negatives about the experience. I'll start there The Bad - I had booked the room I wanted a week in advance, and they said it was free for the hours I wanted it. Great! Except when I got there, they had double booked the room. Someone else was in it. From the other reviews, this seems to be a somewhat consistent problem, so I'd call a day or two in advance to make sure this doesn't happen. They also say they have 140,000 songs but on closer inspection of their website 120,000 of those songs are not in English, and that's fine but I thought they'd have a much wider selection of songs in English. They have a decent selection of English songs but a lot of great songs are missing. Plus, their search feature is not super easy to use, with the technology available in 2018, it should be extremely easy to search for your favorite songs or artists. To avoid the song selection problem, send them an email a week or two before you go asking for certain songs and artists you'd like to see on there. The Good - I sent this feedback to the owners and they seemed really receptive to it! They offered solutions to improve my experience next time and seemed open to improving their business, which seemed really awesome of them. For the double booking problem, they upgraded us to the MVP room at a much lower rate, which was super cool. The MVP room is gorgeous and offered a lot of space for my group. Unfortunately another group who had booked the room showed up and we had to move to the room we originally booked, but it was still a fun time despite the minor inconvenience. The party itself that I had there was a very fun time and the sound system sounded great! Some of the music videos were low quality or non-existent but really, we just wanted to sing songs together and for that, the place did amazing. Before you go, make sure you ask if the room you want to reserve has tables! The MVP room we went to had tables to place our food and drinks on but the room with the stripper poles had no tables at all, so this is soemthing you'll want to ask about before you go. I told the owners about this and they seemed to agree that they should better inform customers. What I like most about this business is that if you have problems, the owners seem willing to listen. I hope they will actually solve them, and if they do, i'll be sure to update my review to 5 stars, but for now it's at 4 stars. I am definitely willing to go back again and hopefully have an even more fun experience next year. read more

Great place for private karaoke. You can bring your own drinks and they have phone chargers there. It's loaded with asian songs but you can find a ton of English songs with a little digging. You will have a good time because its karaoke. Who doesn't love karaoke. But the place can really use a through cleaning and a fresh coat of paint. I visited the day before to see what size room and they all had dingy paint, dust in the corners and u can see juice stains from previous parties on all the couches. (Gross) when I arrived although my room was reserved it was like a party just happen or they just didn't care to clean it. The floors were so sticky that our sneakers made that sound when we walked around so we had to stop and ask for the floor to be mopped. Then we had to ask for the air to be turned on. The machines are somewhat easy but I noticed some of the American artists names were not correct. Chris brown under another name, And some songs didn't even have the subtitles to read along. It's a byob place so u can bring lite snacks n drinks. U also get a discount when u pay cash. Overall it's fun but they need to clean up more ! read more

First time going to a karaoke location in Tempe. The location is close to lots of food and even billiards. Overall, the employees were very lenient with us and thoroughly answered all of our questions. Food was tasty and its nice that is Asian focused. I got a medium room, for my party of seven, on a Wednesday night. There was plenty of room for everyone on the couch. Since it's BYOB, I brought cups and ice, which I later found out was not necessary since August Karaoke Box supplies those to their guests as needed. Xiaotian took care of us and was super welcoming! She did a great job showing the party how to find songs in their system (it's not that hard, guys). We can search by initials of the song/artist or use the soft keyboard on the touch screen to type the words/names. There's a service request button inside the room. Xiaotian responded promptly whenever we had questions or needed anything. It was the first time many in my party did KTV, so I was worried my friends wouldn't be into it. Luckily, the atmosphere of the room--excellent sound quality, dancing lights, lovely decor--got everyone in the mood for some singing. The room and restrooms were very clean. It was an ok experience. For a 10 person room it came out to about $200 for three hours. They charge a 15% music royalty fee. The song searching system isn't friendly to anyone that doesn't speak/read Korean. The rooms get really hot because they don't have thermostats in the individual rooms. When we entered we were told to rate this a 5 star on yelp for a free drink next time we visit. This is deceptive and probably why this business is so highly rated. read more

A MUST TRY (i know it sounds like commercial lol but it is NOT) my fds & i went to visit a buddy in AZ last week; we thought this town is boring like hell 'til we found this KTV in Tempe (near ASU). the KTV is located at a plaza where u can also find motel, japanese restaurant, billiards, etc. BUT i'd like to introduce this KTV more than anything else coz it really surprised us with its kindly service & great condition. we went there twice since the price was okay: happy hours (around 3-8pm) & midnight. they have a good selection of English & Chinese songs (sorry i donno about the other languages'). OH don't forget to check out those find arts in the hall, they said they draw it on their own @@~! it would be easy to spend a whole day there with a lot of joy and laughs, guys! yes thank God, this KTV saved & lit up my first ever trip to AZ, and i will definitely go back there when i get a chance!! read more

I have had two visits here and both times couldn't have been any more fun! The BF had purchased a groupon and it was on the brink of expiration which came in handy because I was trying to think of somewhere to take my blasian (half black/asian) BFF for her birthday. She's got the Asian love for karaoke, so it couldn't have been more perfect! Being that AZ doesn't have many Asians, almost all of our friends were nonAsians and, although hesitant at first, we all had such a great time. We brought handles of Captain and some other alcohol (since it's BYOB) and soon after a few rounds we had everyone fighting for the mic. We did 2 hours and called up Tru Cab and all hopped into a Navigator to hit up Mill Ave which is close by. Due to the extreme sucess of my friend's birthday here my BF requested we have a karaoke night for his birthday also. We made the reservation for 10:30 and ended up having so much fun with the drinking and singing that we ended up staying all night until it closed around 2am. When I made the reservation I included that it was the BFs bday, and the owner was nice enough to send us some delicous pastries and snacks on the house!! I recommend this place to anyone who wants to try something different. It is hilarious seeing friends sing their hearts out and surprising how karaoke brings out the diva from friends you would never expect to sing! P.S. Both times I've had people get hungry and order some sort of noodle soup and its delicous! read more
