we are so thrilled we were able to get augie to do the catering for our daughter's wedding reception this past august.the delicious food and flawless presentation are the obvious reasons to hire augie and his staff for your party or event. the rest of it, as they say, is gravy: the fun of the initial tasting sessions, with augie himself the maestro over a fun and personal choice and decision-making process; the communication was outstanding; the prices can't be beat.
people are still raving over our daughter's reception this summer. augie expertly calculated the amount of food--everyone had plenty! the food could not have been better, anywhere, at any price, and people who used to say they dislike buffets are now singing a different tune after feasting on augie's pulled pork, honey chicken, sweet corn, green beans with bacon, seven layer salad. duchess potatoes (three cheese--everyone had thirds!), and fresh buns.
the hot food was kept piping hot. the cold food was chilled and perfectly crisp. augie also created pans of "dirt cake" to fit in a garden car, our daughter's choice for a wedding cake--served with a trowel and a real hit. ask his about this. we also brought out corn dogs for a late surprise snack at the reception--you haven't had a party until you see hundreds of people happily dancing as they chow down on delicious, baked corn dogs! our daughter and her husband asked if augie could do corn dogs--augie said no problem.
we can't say enough good about augie and his staff.
he could not have paid better attention to our event if it had been his own daughter, and i know everyone who hires this talented chef gets 110% joyful results. his prices are shockingly reasonable in an expect-to[be-gouged-industry. his personal care and friendly expertise are remarkable.

ps--a week before the event, our linen-supplier called me to say her linens would be out of state and unavailable for our party. i called five suppliers in the state--no luck.
i was ready to order plastic sheeting as a last resort
when i mentioned this to augie when i went in to give him our final headcount,. he pulled out his cell phone then and there and made two phone calls.
the day before the wedding, we had linens on all the tables and shirts on the buffets.
