Not a single worker I saw inside was masked, and a sign hanging on the store's entrance flaunted the statewide mask mandate. I also politely asked the cashier to wear a mask when ringing up my purchase. I didn't think that this request was too much to ask during a pandemic, especially in a state that has been hard-hit with the virus. Rather than do this small thing to make me feel valued as a customer, the cashier jeered at me and dismissed my (very rational) request. I generally don't like to leave bad reviews, but - if given the choice between a bad review versus spreading a virus that has killed countless thousands - I will gladly leave this review in the hopes that others will see it and not give Glenn's your business. There are plenty of other local meat markets to support during these trying times, and I hope that readers of this review will do so.

The cardboard was put on upside down, we could see brown cardboard under the layers of a white cake, the trims were shoddy and the whole cake was a mess. Augie's employees were rude, we were told that Augie would come and talk to us, instead he never showed up and his main reply was "wedding cakes are difficult to make." I do not suggest using him for wedding cakes, they aren't professional at all. They didn't even box up the anniversary cake, they just put the cardboard layer in the fridge of the hall, amongst moldy cheese and pickle jars, not in a box like other vendors do. Also we were charged with close to $200 extra for "gratuity" - above and beyond the 20% because Augie's charges gratuity after service fees AND sales tax. His reply to that was 'well that's how we do business" - in our opinion, he's in it for the money, he did not care how important our special day was to us, he does not have any sort of quality in his expensive costs.

Many of our guests were going up for seconds and told us how good the food was. Quint say hi couldn't answer my questions and I said wow you must be having a bad day and she just gave me a dirty look. I don't understand why people pay people like that when they can't even have a smiley face, she didn't have to carry on a conversation with me, but she could've had a smile on it on her face or address a customer very rude young lady would never go to her again. This is New Year's Eve Saturday at 9:21 in the morning.
