I had CVE abate asbestos tiles from our home, and when they protected our floors with paper runners and tape, the painters tape stripped color off our Mexican tiles (which it isn't supposed to do, that's why you use painters tape). CVE took full responsibility for this unexpected outcome and brought out a tile specialist to remedy the issue. After my insurance company caused complications that led to First Call terminating the job which I understood, I received an invoice in May of last year. I paid that balance in full with two separate checks within two weeks. I have the receipts, the copies of the checks, and the bank statements showing exactly when First Call cashed them. After a full year of zero communication, I woke up today to a voicemail and email threatening to send me to collections within 48 hours. They claimed they had been "trying to reach me" for 12 months, which is untrue. I checked my call logs and my email history; there was absolutely nothing. When I called and provided my proof of payment and the exact dates they cashed my checks, they admitted the "error" was simply because someone forgot to check a box in their system. It is incredibly stressful and offensive to have your credit threatened because a company can't be bothered to check their own bank deposits before sending out threats. As a veteran, I live by a standard of integrity and doing your due diligence. Relying on a "checked box" as the Bible instead of doing actual research is lazy and unprofessional. Do better, not just for your customers, but for the reputation of the guys out there doing the actual work.

After removing the acoustic ceiling in my living room, the crew left the ceiling exposed with visible water damage and walked away. I ultimately hired someone else to finish the work because I did not want the crew returning again. During the process, my home sustained additional damage, including a kitchen cabinet being ripped out and left in my driveway, damage to my kitchen floor, electrical wiring being cut (which required a licensed electrician), and custom drapes and blinds being torn down and balled up even though they should not have been removed. An oak cabinet was also disassembled on top of my washer, rendering it unusable. These issues were documented on site by their own representative, who expressed dissatisfaction with the quality of the work. Despite causing documented damage, the company refused to reimburse for my custom drapes, sheers, and valences for seven windows. They rejected estimates--first claiming it was fraud--without providing any alternative valuation. To this day, my window treatments have not been replaced. To make matters worse, the company attempted to bill me for a disputed balance while threatening a lien, even though the damage caused far exceeded the amount they claimed I owed. This experience resulted in significant stress, additional out-of-pocket expenses, and unresolved damage to my home. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company to anyone looking for professional, careful, and accountable work.

My Highest Recommendation for Bio 911…read more I had a mold problem caused by a leaking faucet and roof at my Mom's house. The mold remediation company that I was referred to, went ahead and started tearing out drywall before any contract was signed. They also would not answer most of my questions and only sent a single photo of what they found and that was only after I asked them to send me photos a second time. I called Bio 911 and spoke to Kirill, the owner of the company. He told me that he doesn't like to take on jobs that are already being worked on by another company, but he told me that he would be happy to come out to inspect and evaluate my problem. He was incredibly thorough. He checked the drywall where visible mold had been seen, checked a nearby restroom even though no mold had been seen in there, the outside wall of the building adjacent to the affected drywall, and even the walls of an adjacent apartment. He detected moisture inside of the outside wall of the building, which was something that the other company had missed, and he outlined the steps needed to correct the moisture problem and mold issue. Kirill did all this work simply because he likes to help people. He did not charge me a penny. How often can you find someone that does things just to help people? It is super rare and I am giving Bio 911 my highest recommendation as a result.

Mike was great to work with and answered all my questions timely and with very clear expertise. The popcorn ceilings had asbestos in them, and ADS coordinated seamlessly to have Synergy Enterprise Inc. take the asbestos materials off and perform the abatement process safely. Mike's team - Dillon, Greg, and Fernando - did an absolutely beautiful job. The finished product has very evident attention to detail, the new ceiling texturing is consistent and beautiful, and they left the place clean afterwards. Their workmanship is top notch. I also had them do some drywall work in one of the bedrooms, removing some wood paneling and putting up drywall. This work was also done flawlessly, despite the wood paneling being a hassle and messy to remove. I would highly recommend their work to anyone needing ceiling or drywall work done. When I tried to give him the details, he was in disbelief that this quality of work was performed by his team. He was nice, but seemed to be more concerned with the negative review than with understanding where things went wrong. He told me repeatedly how his team always does a good job and always gets good reviews. He asked me twice on the call if I would update the review. I'm giving 1 star back because they did come back out and remove the remaining absestos that they missed the first time. However they didn't offer anything to cover the cost of repair for the damages to my walls. Over all I do believe the owner had good intentions, but it seems he is pretty far removed from the actual work that is being performed. After they removed the additional absestos, I had planned to update the review and told the owner I would do so. I hadn't gotten around to it yet, but the owner reached out to me again to request a third time that I remove or revise the review. So here you go.
