On 5 March 2026 we had some computer issues and had to change from Windstream to gmail. A young man named Kenny arrived at our home and went to work on my computer. His skills amazed me. Myself being a novice with high tech, I had a lot of questions and had to be shown new things on G Mail. He was very patient and helpful with all my questions and needed instructions. Quick Connect is fortunate to have an associate with his ability in their office. as long as I have a computer, Quick Connext WILL be the place we go to.

The remote service didn't fix the problem, they just did a few…read morediagnostics (on a Wednesday, and I paid them more $250 for nothing) but they said that I got 30 minutes of free service if I'm still having problems within a 60 day time period. I called them and explained it still wasn't working and, after they contemplated the issue, decided it may be a clogged ink tube, and that I should bring it in rather than have them come to my house because of potential ink getting everywhere while repairing. So, I took it to their storefront on Thursday morning. They said it could take just 30 minutes or it could be longer, they would call. No call. Four hours later I call them and they said they were still working on it - I think this included a repeat of the work they did remotely. Friday, I called for an update and they said they ordered a print head so they could test to see if that was the problem. They would call me back the first part of next week. No news on Monday. Tuesday they called and said it was the print head and that the part and labor would be an additional $150. I told them to go ahead (my mistake?!) and I would pick it up that afternoon. I got there to pick it up at 3:45, reviewed the invoice... which said they installed a new print cartridge - which they didn't do (this printer doesn't even use cartridges!) They said they wiped down the chassis - it still had smudges all over it. They said they had wrapped it - it wasn't wrapped so I had to ask them to do that. I asked if they gave me the 30 minute credit mentioned above - kinda got the run around on that with them saying the repair took longer than that so there was still a charge.... I get that, but was I credited for the 30 minutes? still don't know. They were going to talk to the owner to see if this charge was correct, but I needed to be somewhere in 15 minutes so said I'd try to be back before they closed at 5:30. I returned at 5:15. It was ready for me. The invoice indicated $159.80 but imagine my surprise when my receipt showed $164.59 (they neglect to tell people there is a 3% credit card charge which doesn't show on the invoice!) So not I've spent $417.56 (ALMOST THE PRICE OF A NEW IDENTICAL PRINTER!!!). This all started because the black ink wasn't printing and the color ink was faded. At one point they told me the black print head was defective and could affect the colors printing - come to find out this printer has only one print head that does the black and colored inks combined. After I got home I realized they had altered the verbiage on the invoice - (probably to cover their "hinies"). THESE GUYS ARE "WANNA BE" COMPUTER NERDS WITHOUT ANY PEOPLE SKILLS!!! Their communications skills are pretty much non-existent and the customer service is lacking. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! EXTRA NOTE ----- The owner called me after reading this review. He initially tried to resolve the issue but was willing to give me a partial refund ONLY if I removed this review and/or gave him 5 stars. Bribery? I just wanted to tell of my experience and let others be the judge. He stated that I needed my computer fixed and they ultimately fixed it. Job done. That may be true but it was a painful experience!

Saved twice by this jeweler! I was told earlier this year by…read morea very well known Omaha jewelry store (owned by a billionaire) that my wedding band was unfixable. It is a platinum diamond infinity band that was bent into a severe oval when I lifted a heavy box during our move. I was told by the large jeweler that too many prongs were damaged and it would need a new setting- which they offered to sell me. Fast forward a few months- I ended up stopping at Elder Jeweler on a whim. The jeweler listened to my story and while we spoke he was working on my ring. By the time we were done talking he had bent it back into shape. He was basically showing me that the other place was just trying to sell me a setting. He gave me a quote to repair the broken prongs and reset the diamonds. It was very reasonable. They told me it would take a week, however they had it done in just a few days and it was done on the low end of the estimate. I was more than impressed by how new my ring looked! Fast forward 6 months- my daughter has a religious medallion that she wears when she runs. It means a lot to her as she has some health issues and the medallion is blessed. The bail broke this morning and she has a meet tomorrow. I ran it over to Elder. They did not promise that they could repair it. They said they don't normally do same day repairs. The sales associate said she would talk to the jeweler and see what could be done. 5 minutes later I heard him call to the associate and tell her that "the chain will break before the bail fails". He had soldered it shut and it is repaired to new! I am so grateful to have this local shop. They are very trustworthy and do fine quality work! Thank you Elder Jewelry!
