How did I not know about this place? Yes, they have diamonds but I can't tell you about them as I…read moreignored them. They have a couple of very interesting displays of colored stones, including a good selection of rainbow sapphire jewelry (want a bracelet displaying all the colors sapphire comes in? How about a ring? earrings? a pin, perhaps?), a couple of other interesting stones (blue zircons; morganite) and a case on the wall with turquoise in blue or orange tones and carved vases made of multicolored jade from Taiwan. Owner is very personable and apparently owns a part share of a cutting service in Thailand; he can tell you all about where the different kinds of gems come from. Some pearls; he didn't have any South Sea black ones out but apparently he does them. Also stocks men's jewelry and watches. All jewelry repairs done in-house. Not your standard run-of-the-mill designs; we visited a more standard jewelry shop afterwards and it really suffered by comparison. Prices reasonable for what you're getting.

i have never visited a pawn shop before given the fact that i'm 20. i had a family emergency that…read morerequired getting a lot of money quickly. so my boyfriend & i decided to give it a go as a last resort. We didn't know what we were doing & so we asked the lady at this pawn shop to explain. She gave us an attitude the whole time. We asked her when the first interest payment was due she said at the end of the month. Then after everything was signed , she said i have a week before it would be $6 then two weeks it would be $12. everything was all signed so i couldn't get my items back because they have a 48 hour policy. they are scammers & scumbags who want to take advantage of people in need. when we went in we noticed most of their clients were mentally ill, chronically ill, or down on their luck. we went back before the week ended & the guy tried charging me $12. They thought since we were young they would be able to scam us but i was so upset i told him "no the lady right next you told me it would be $6 for a week." & the lady just sat there looking at me blankly and tried to lie. the guy was like well yes you are under the first week mark okay. Then the next incident is that they have a sign that says you can pay the interest off with a card. you can't ! it's always a catch with these people , you can pay off the interest with card if you wait over a month . overall a horrible place with horrible people. they have signs all over saying "however you treat us the better price you get" when they themselves are horrible people who treat non white people rudely. would never ever recommend.

It's a little dusty; there are some Nebraska souvenirs; some little cookbooks; but really, it's about the jewelry. They have a bunch of turquoise jewelry (Zuni, Nazajo...), a little amber, some abalone, and some silver (watches, rings...) Rings ran small - if you need a pretty turquoise ring for $35 for someone with tiny fingers, you're in luck. Some lovely blue chunky necklaces, several greenish ones, some mosaic pendants, carved birds / bear pieces, an interesting amber pendant or two, turquoise pendants ranging from petite to massive (pendants include a silver chain). Some massive rings that would cover half the length of a finger. Some earrings including tiny abalone studs ($16), and they'll happily apply the coupon from "Shop Lincoln Shop Nebraska" for 15% off jewelry whether you bring it or not: it's posted on the door. Credit card reader was broken when we were there, and the motel's ATM will only let you take out $200, which wouldn't cover some of the larger pieces. Many of the pieces include the name of the artist or at least which tribe, as well as which mine the turquoise is from - they make a big point of supporting Indian artisans. If you're thinking of visiting, come soon - this is a one-woman business. and she's pretty elderly; when we were there a friend of hers was helping out.
