I have had multiple interactions with their staff regarding a simple insurance claim, but DC Audiology cannot or will not provide my insurance provider with proof that they are in network, as they claim. DC Audiology lists United Healthcare as in network on their website, and they assure you that they are in network when asked. In 5 months and through hours of calls with DC Audiology and with United Healthcare, I have tried to get them to provide the information that would clear this up, but they have not managed to deal with the issue. Krystyna Graham did a great job with my exam and with the choice and fit of my new hearing aids. I truly wish I could provide a better rating for her practice.

I had previously tried hearing aids from a company that provided information only by telephone, with assistance from someone I had difficulty understanding. The audiologist I've been working with, Ted Park, is friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. I couldn't be happier with the service and with my new hearing aids.

This clinic offers a complimentary hearing assessment, so if you think you are hard of hearing or need to get your hearing checked out in general, check this place out! Making an appointment was a breeze - Ms. Laura, one of the receptionists, was so sweet and got all the information down. When it's time for your appointment, the doc asks you a few questions, then does a tone test in a sound-proof booth. It's kind of like playing a game with a beeper, so with different pitch of tones, when you hear it, you press the beeper. There are posters and cute stuffed animals to visually 'calm' you. Then, the doc goes over your results and his recommendations. In the room, Dr. Lilly gave me a comprehensive hearing exam, answered my questions, and showed me that my hearing was well within healthy thresholds. Chattering Children is by far and away the best audiology clinic for little kids in the city…read more Actually based in a school for toddlers up to 3rd grade, the clinic knows exactly how to work with little kids, do audiograms, and communicate with parents. This is the third of three different places we tried in the city. This place is a league beyond, and so thankful to have discovered their kid-friendly services. The staff is also incredibly responsive, responding to all our annoying questions on everything from types of devices (which were many) to ear molds to billing. As just one example, after our daughter had a bump to the head and we were worried about hearing loss to the "still-hearing ear" (our daughter has progressive hearing loss), they found a way to see us the very next day, and that day wrote the report and sent it to the cochlear implant surgeon. If your kid of any age has hearing loss in the DC area, this is the place to go.
