Our interaction began over email with Eric, who was straightforward and transparent about the pricing and out-the-door numbers before we ever made the drive. That mattered to us because we were coming from San Diego and wanted to know exactly what to expect before spending several hours on the road. We arrived around 2 PM on a Sunday after driving roughly 90 miles from San Diego. Traffic made the trip close to two hours and put us about an hour late for our appointment, but Slava and the team were completely accommodating and never made us feel rushed or inconvenienced. Slava had set up our appointment, greeted us when we arrived, and made sure we were settled before handing us over to Randy because he had a personal commitment to attend to. Even after that, he kept checking in on us regularly, offering water, making sure we were comfortable, and helping keep everything on track. Randy then handled the in-person experience from beginning to end and deserves a special mention. He gave us a thorough rundown of the A3, walked us through its features and equipment, joined us on the test drive, demonstrated the key functions, and spent time explaining the car to my teenage son, since the A3 is for him. He made sure we were comfortable with both the vehicle and the buying process at every stage and continued coordinating everything through the purchase and delivery. From reviewing the specs and inspecting and test-driving the car to running the numbers and completing financing, the process moved smoothly. Ray in Finance made what can sometimes be the least enjoyable part of buying a car surprisingly pleasant. He was knowledgeable, witty, quirky in the best way, and kept things moving without making the process feel rushed. The car was washed, filled with a full tank of gas, and nicely staged for delivery with a bow. Despite arriving late, we were out the door with our A3 in about four hours. My son thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and the team made an already memorable purchase even better for our family. What really went above and beyond happened afterward. Randy graciously offered to personally drive the car we had taken to Costa Mesa back to our home in San Diego the following morning. He made the roughly 90-mile trip himself, completely complimentary, even though we live well beyond their usual delivery area. That level of accommodation was unexpected and greatly appreciated. The entire transaction made the drive to Costa Mesa well worth it. We came away extremely satisfied and genuinely appreciative of how Randy, Slava, Ray, Eric, and the broader Fletcher Jones team handled the purchase. I brought my Audi A5 this year and scheduled recall appointment with a loaner reserved. First, the loaner car was given to me with a fuel tank that was NOT full -- yet at checkout I was charged for gas, and the amount I was charged was more than the fuel I had actually used. During the visit, my digital keys were revoked, and nobody ever mentioned it to me -- I only found out through an automated myAudi email notification. Checkout was the worst part. No one explained what service had actually been performed on my car. I was simply handed documents and told to sign, with no walkthrough and no confirmation of anything. The whole process felt extremely rushed. Even on a weekday, there seemed to be only two or three employees handling everything. Despite knowing the car was going to be with the dealer for weeks, which he had given me notice via text, he still was diligent about texting me with very regular updates on the car repair process. My first interaction was with Marc Ingram, who helped me test drive the Jeep and go through numbers with my trade-in. My situation wasn't ideal--negative equity and a few moving parts--and the deal didn't come together that first visit. Still, Marc was straightforward, professional, and never once made me feel pressured or uncomfortable. Eric Rosenthal, the sales manager, was involved behind the scenes and stayed in touch via email. Even though we didn't interact much in person, his communication was quick, clear, and honest. After I left that Friday, I was able to get my situation handled on my end. I came back a few days later ready to move forward and worked with Camila Torres, who was awesome. Super supportive, friendly, and just made the whole process easy. She kept things moving and made sure everything felt smooth. She even gave me my first Jeep duck, which was a cool and unexpected touch. In finance, Mohamad Saab really stood out. Purchased a pre-owned 2023 A3 here on Saturday (9/27). Experience was good until we drove off with the car. Literally 5 mins after driving off with my purchased car, an electrical malfunction light popped up so obviously we drove back to the dealership and was told my Garrett Poole that it just needed a software update and everything was fine.. and that I should come back Monday, 9/29 to bring it for the tech people as the service center was closed already. Sure fine, got a 7:30am appointment for Monday and was told the car was fine.. On my way to the service center on Monday, my car started to stop at the freeway. I was no longer able to accelerate.. good thing it was starting to get traffic and people were slowing down and I was able to switch lanes to get to the side. It was sooooo traumatic, I could have possibly lost my life if it wasn't rush hour and everybody was going fast.. I was told by a manager in this location that the car was okay to drive. I got lucky in some sense I guess that I ended up okay and not getting hit.. My car was towed and had Audi roadside assistance help me (decent experience there). When I got to the dealership, they had me wait longer than I thought, I was given the run around and I was getting skipped over. Like okay, as if it's not a big deal that the car that I just bought legit stopped accelerating in the freeway.. thanks guys. Anyway, I had to even ask for a loaner cause I had to get to work and wasn't offered one upfront. Maybe service would be different if I looked more important? I'm just a girl I guess?? Bad customer service tbh. A day later, the diagnosis update is that the battery/generator in the car was ACTUALLY faulty after test driving a few times and they don't have one in stock so they have to order it in Germany or whatever.. I am just wondering how the freak this car passed to be sold to customers. I got incredibly so unlucky and have had such a BAD EXPERIENCE. This just makes me really sad and I'm hoping for a better outcome once the car gets fixed. I may or may not update this review but such a disappointing experience. I also hoped I was treated a bit better and people here were more honest with customers. Anyone reading this, don't listen to these sales people about the car being okay to drive even with the lights going off.. you can lose your life over these things. Recently purchased a CPO vehicle from this dealership over Labor Day weekend when there was light rain and discovered vehicle had horrible (worst Ive ever seen) waterspouts etched into the clearcoat that won't come out. Communicated this back to the dealer who offered a car wash.... Seriously! I told them I've tried getting the mineral deposits out and that a car wash is pointless. I can't believe this vehicle was even on the lot in this condition: They have basically neglected to return my messages at this point and would not recommend this dealership. I contacted Audi Fletcher Jones at aprox 8:00 a.m. Hawaii time / 11:00 a.m. California time because I was ready to purchase a vehicle listed in their inventory. I was prepared to buy in cash and repeatedly made clear that I was ready to move forward and needed to know what they required to complete the sale. Over the next 8+ hours, communication was extremely poor. I was largely ignored, despite trying to get a straightforward answer about how to place a deposit or finalize the purchase. With about an hour left before closing, I was told the vehicle I had been trying to buy all day "might be sold soon" and that someone would update me as soon as possible. No one ever followed up. I understand that cars can sell quickly. What I do not understand is why a dealership would leave a serious, ready-to-buy customer hanging all day rather than clearly communicate whether the vehicle was available or whether there was another buyer ahead of me. I have never had to work this hard to give a dealership money.
