Sounds like the service department reviews are hit or miss, but my review is for the sales team and the sales process at Audi of Chantilly. I cannot say enough about Raihan, my salesperson, and Hassan, the Sales Manager. They made my buying experience at Audi of Chantilly truly exceptional. Their professionalism, respect for my time, and genuine commitment to customer service set a standard I have never experienced at any dealership. Because of them, I will be returning for all my service needs, and they have earned a customer for life. I have already recommended Audi of Chantilly to friends and pointed them directly to Raihan. The Audi Chantilly Service Center continues to be plagued with problems and a lack of leadership, not only from my personal experience, but also evident in all of the recent one-star ratings you see online. There's a serious systemic issue here. A while ago, I had my A6 in for a recall to replace the engine fuel rails. The job was completed and shortly afterwards, while I'm driving I smell gas. I pull over and get out to inspect by looking under my vehicle. Lo and behold, gas is not dripping from the engine, rather it's pouring in a stream onto the ground. This was very concerning and put me in a precious situation as it could have easily turned into a car fire. My car had to be towed to the dealership for the job to be done all over again, as the inept technician didn't complete it correctly to begin with. They argued with me about reimbursing me for the tow job. Last month, I took my wife's Q8 to this same dealer for yet another Audi recall. When I originally made the appointment, the service scheduler said the work would be done within 4 hours. She asked if I wanted to wait or get a loaner, and I opted for the latter. When I dropped the car off, the service rep tells me it could take up to 24+ hours, a far cry from the 4 hours originally quoted. The dealer provided me a small Mazda SUV loaner from Enterprise Rental Car, which was nowhere near the quality, size, make or model of the Q8. Even worse, the inside and outside of the loaner car was filthy. When I raised the issues about the 4 hours and the quality and condition of the loaner, the service rep's only solution was to ask if I wanted to reschedule my appointment. I declined as rescheduling was inconvenient, just as everything else about this experience is. Chantilly Audi Service should be ashamed, considering it is supposed to be a high end, luxury brand. The service at this dealership is abysmal, which is a real head scratcher to me. Considering Audi Chantilly's terrible track record of service, don't bring your vehicle here. read more

One of the most frustrating dealership service experiences I've had. I scheduled my service appointment months in advance, reserved a loaner vehicle, and even reconfirmed it before arriving, yet I was still told there were no loaners available. This happened multiple times. Instead of honoring reservations, customers are pushed into another waiting queue, offered Uber rides, or placed into low-end Enterprise rentals, sometimes at the customer's own expense while the Audi is still under service. The communication and diagnostic process was equally disappointing. My service advisor, Randor Skinner, repeatedly referenced a "24-72 hour diagnostic" timeframe, but there was little to no meaningful follow-up unless I personally called or texted multiple times. I was told the vehicle was actively being diagnosed, yet my Audi app telematics consistently showed the vehicle sitting stationary in the parking lot for extended periods of time. What made the experience worse was that the technician had already identified a known issue related to the AWD clutch binding and vibration TSB procedure and explained that they knew how to fix it. After waiting several days without progress, I asked the advisor to simply complete the known repair so I could address any remaining issues at another Audi dealership later. Instead, I continued receiving the same response that additional diagnostics were needed, followed by promises to "update me by the end of the day," with little actual progress or communication. As a busy parent transporting kids to school and activities, the transportation situation created major inconvenience and additional costs. I ultimately paid out of pocket to continue using an Enterprise rental because I had no practical alternative. I understand diagnostics and repairs can take time, but professionalism, transparency, and communication matter just as much. Unfortunately, this experience felt disorganized, unresponsive, and lacking accountability. For a premium brand dealership, this level of customer service is unacceptable and has negatively impacted my perception of both the dealership and the Audi brand overall. read more

Since I've purchased my Audi I have experienced persistent and recurring failures with the Audi MMI system that have never been permanently resolved. Despite numerous visits to this dealership, repeated repair attempts, and multiple escalations, the core issue remains unresolved nearly five years later. The issue:The MMI system repeatedly malfunctions, with the screen intermittently or completely going black. When this occurs, essential functions such as navigation, media, connectivity, and vehicle settings become unusable. This significantly impacts the safety, usability, and overall value of the vehicle.Repair history:My vehicle has been brought in multiple times for diagnosis and repair. Various fixes were attempted, including system resets, software updates, and component replacements. Unfortunately, these repairs either did not resolve the issue or only worked temporarily for a few days or weeks before the same failure returned.After picking up the vehicle in early December, the MMI functioned briefly and then failed again in January. This follows the same pattern of temporary fixes followed by recurring failure that has occurred repeatedly over several years.Extended downtime and loaner concerns:At one point, the dealership kept my vehicle for approximately five months. A loaner vehicle was provided, but the original MMI issue was still not resolved after this extended period.During that time, additional concerns arose, including toll charges that were incurred while the loaner was being driven by dealership staff, not by me. There was also an alignment-related charge that I had to question, which was eventually waived.Additionally, when I had to drive the loaner out of state for a family emergency, I was initially told I could be charged for being outside a designated geographic area. While the charge was ultimately not applied, it was frustrating to be put in that position while my own vehicle remained unrepaired.Escalation and lack of resolution:After the issue continued to recur, I was informed that the dealership had exhausted its resources and would no longer work on the vehicle, despite previously advising that the issue would be covered if it returned under warranty. I was later told that resolution would require involvement from higher-level Audi personnel, but a permanent fix has still not been achieved.Current status:Even after the most recent pickup, the MMI is already experiencing connectivity issues again and the screen again went black. The underlying problem remains unresolved after nearly five years.  I contacted the service manager again on 3/7 to let him know what the issue is. He got back to me with a solution that will put me in financial restraint, so I advised him to go directly to audi with the better resolution, which he agreed to. That was on 3/ 17. I followed up with on 4/20 where he advised he would get back to me in 24 hours.  As of today, May 4th I  still have not heard from him.. Such dealership misconduct..Additional observations:I have personally spent thousands of dollars on Audi maintenance packages for preventative service. Despite this, the ongoing issue has never been properly fixed. Courtesy or "goodwill" adjustments are occasionally offered, but they feel more like temporary gestures rather than solutions to the root problem.Bottom line: This has been a long, documented pattern of unresolved failure--not an isolated incident. The amount of time, inconvenience, and uncertainty involved has been extremely disappointing. After a car accident I was not prepared to buy a new car and it was a stressful experience. However ,I highly recommend Chantilly Audi. It was the first place I went after a friend recommended that location. I wasn't sure About buying the car I saw so I checked out Arlington, Tyson's Corner, and Maryland's dealerships. Maryland was too much of a drive than a hassle to go back to. Tyson's corner was really nice But they didn't have what I was looking for. Arlington had another car I was interested in but I would. My gut feeling about Arlington was not good, the reviews about Arlington are not great and my experience ended up being awful. Not recommended At Chantilly Audi, I also highly recommend Kathy for sales, who was extremely supportive and knowledgeable. 5 Stars for Kathy!!!! I am so excited about my car! Raihan and his manager were respectful and friendly. I spent almost five months looking for a car and I feel like I was very aware of what I was looking for. I liked the car I came to see, and ultimately ended up reaching out to Raihan with the intent to purchase even though I was supposed to see another car the next day. The paperwork was quick. They didn't spring any hidden fees on me. They also filled up the tank all the way for me before I left the lot (thank you). There were a few things that caught me off guard, as this was my first time buying a car. First, I was told that this was a one price dealership which I wasn't aware of before hand. The manager, before I left the after test driving, asked if there was anything they could do to make the car more appealing. I honestly was caught so off guard that I didn't speak, because all I could think of was, "Discuss the price?" which they had just taken off the table lol. Secondly, I paid in cash in full, but they did a hard credit check before I gave them a personal check. I know that a credit check is up to the discretion of the dealership, but paying in cash here does not protect you from a hard credit check haha. Obviously, neither of these were dealbreakers for me, but did catch me off guard and give me pause. I didn't buy an Audi, but I got a used car that I really wanted. I would HIGHLY recommend Raihan for his communication, professionalism, and care as a salesman. read more

Audi Chantilly is awful. They recommended $6300 worth of engine work(oil leaks and a rough running engine) for our 2015 Q7. I was in the fence about spending that much due to the age of the vehicle but my service advisor convinced me that after the repairs the vehicle would be good to go for a very long time. Just a few weeks later the oil leaks were back and when I took the vehicle back, they tried to charge me an additional $1200 because "the last repair only took care of certain leaks". This was not what I had discussed with them and that's when they referred me back to the fine print and written details in the prior service order and disavowed ever telling me that the repairs they suggested would fix all outstanding issues. In the end the service director covered the labor and I agreed to pay for the additional parts. Bottom line is that they lie and are not straight shooters. They find it easy to stand in front of a customer and not do what they commit to doing. read more

This dealership tried to scam me--plain and simple. I asked for a tow hitch install on my 2022 Q7, and they said they'd need the car for two full days. Fine, maybe they're busy. But then they had the audacity to quote 16 hours of labor just to remove the bumper and install the hitch. That's absolutely ridiculous. This is a 4-5 hour job max, according to other dealerships and reputable garages. Either they're wildly incompetent or deliberately gouging customers. Do not trust their pricing without checking elsewhere first. Always get quotes from other dealerships before handing over your keys--this kind of blatant overcharging is unacceptable. I went to check out a vehicle (**VIN: 5YJ3E1EB0MF063346**) I was interested in at Audi Chantilly, taking time out of my busy schedule because I genuinely thought I would be buying the car today. When I got there, everything initially seemed fine--the salesperson was friendly, and we took the Tesla for a test drive. Everything was good EXCEPT for the odometer reading. Both the sticker on the vehicle and the website listing showed 23,000 miles, but the Tesla's actual odometer showed over 26,000 miles--a discrepancy of more than 3,000 miles, which is significant. The salesperson went to get his manager, who was completely unhelpful. He started explaining that he ran numbers based on KBB values and offered to take $300 off the price. I actually laughed--$300 off for a mileage discrepancy of 3,000 miles? I made a fair offer, but he refused to honor it, so I walked out. If you're going to falsely advertise the mileage on a used vehicle (**VIN: 5YJ3E1EB0MF063346**), at least have the decency to admit your mistake. Our door handle cover fell off our 2024 Audi Q5. The factory warranty was still in effect, so we called to make a service appointment. We asked if this is under warranty. The person we spoke to told us the service tech would have to make that determination. On the day of our appointment, we were told it was a $230 diagnostic fee just to see if this was covered under warranty. This was never mentioned when we made the appointment, not to mention someone could simply look at the car and tell if it was covered. Luckily, I knew I could order a used part off Amazon or Ebay and snap it on myself for 25 bucks, but if it was covered by warranty and I could get it done quickly and professionally with an OEM part, I wanted to try that route. However, silly me--I forgot dealerships are going to try to rip you off any way they can, and if they can't do that, they will waste your time. Typical terrible dealer experience- Beware. Purchased a vehicle from out of state with an agreement that they would assist with sorting out shipping. As soon as the paperwork was completed, no replies and no assistance with setting up shipping. I wound up arranging shipping on my own, and had to get the finance manager involved as the sales team would not reply or assist with vehicle pickup. Fast forward nearly two months from purchase and they are now holding the license plates hostage, requesting more $$, but have yet to show any documentation to support that or reply after numerous requests for clarification and my plates.. As of now I have had to involve both Fairfax County consumer affairs and the law enforcement division of the VA DMV in an effort to get a resolution for something that should not even be an issue to begin with. As an aside: They attempted to force the purchase of a paint and fabric protection agreement as a requirement to purchase, which took some discussion to have removed. They also ran my credit 2x, for no apparent reason as financing was not an issue. read more

We've been having our Audi cars serviced at Audi Chantilly for YEARS. We've been friendly with Salesperson, Mamta for YEARS - even bought a high-end car from her; she was always friendly, smiling. At the end of 2024, we came, drove a similar car, liked it and sat down to talk turkey. We asked if there could be a reduction on price, hoping for at least $500.00 or a little more; after all we'd done business with them for a long time)! she checked with her "manager", came back and said $250.00 off. We were stunned, she went back to talk with him. The "manager" came back and looking down his nose at us, and in very haughty tones, said $250.00 "is all he can do." No wait, there's more! Not a week later, we checked on line, the car had been reduced by $1000.00! No wait, there's more!! In five days later, it was reduced ANOTHER $1000.00!! We will NEVER buy a car from them again - and will tell everyone who is considering an Audi to go to Tyson's Audi (where we were treated very well and purchased a car from them after this fiasco). We've had an unfortunate experience thus far with Audi Chantilly, and after contacting them almost daily since November 30th, we're hoping they'll respond with a viable solution. When we left the dealership with the brand new vehicle on 11/30, we noticed that the car had a cut across the seat. The next morning we noticed a chip in the windshield. We met that morning with the salesperson, at the dealership, to take the items out of our trade in vehicle. We notified him of the damages, and were told that he would speak with his manager and give us an update the next business day. We live in NC, so we made sure he knew that we were leaving that afternoon. Over the past 2+weeks, the car has turned off multiple times on us, including while I was on the highway. The car does not just turn back on. This vehicle feels extremely unsafe and we have notified them nearly every time the vehicle turned off. Yesterday, it was 4 times within a matter of moments. We have called, sent text messages, and left voicemails several times about the damages we left the dealership with. We were told they would send us written confirmation that they would cover the cost of damages, but we have received no written authorization and no confirmation of what damages they will cover. The only instruction we have received is to for us to go to a local dealership, have the repairs quoted, then they will reimburse us when they're done. We don't even have an email to send this quote to and no local dealership can see us in the next 2+ weeks. We are left with an unsafe vehicle that stops while you're driving, no answers, and we left with only 14 miles on the odometer of what should have been a brand new vehicle. Hopefully, we don't have to drive back to Chantilly from NC to have this resolved, but at this point it feels like the only way to get a response from them is to show up in person during business hours. read more

I am amending my review based upon their willingness to work with me at my convenience to make it right. Original review June 2022: Took my car in for recalls. When I got it back, the back seat cushion was not fastened down and was very loose. They made it right by dropping a loaner off at my house and taking it back to fix it again. They also fixed a couple other warrantee items which was great. I left feeling like they did everything they could to make it right. Then I started noticing about three days later that there is now a rattle under the car that sounds like some type of shield that is loose. When I start my car it rattles sometimes and when the car shifts down when stopping it does as well. I am assuming they took something apart underneath and didn't put it all back together. Will deal with it when I get back from vacation a couple weeks. read more

Once speaking to the service advisor and telling her what the issue was with the vehicle, I was placed on hold in hopes of getting an appointment. Instead the advisor returned and told me that the Service Manager said "I DONT WANT TO OPEN THAT CAN OF WORMS" and refused to book an appointment and I was advised to try another Audi dealer in the area. Last November, I bought a 2022 Acura MDX Type S from them and Nasser, the dealer who helped out assured me that there was nothing wrong with the vehicle. Car fax didn't also mentioned of any issue either. But after getting and having it for less than a week, I realized a paint cover up on the bottom right side of my front bumper which I made Nasser aware of it. Nasser then told that it has nothing to do with him or Audi however I got the car from them. Nasser didn't deny it either which means he knew it was there or they were the one that covered up before selling it. Nasser then told me to no leave any bad review and not be bitter about it but could offer anything to help. Fast forward to now, I noticed some shaking while braking and took it to an Acura dealership where I was told that I needed new front brakes and rotors which I thought was crazy because I have had this car for less than 5 months. Obviously I contacted Nasser to let him know but no response. So be really aware of this dealership because of my experience which was very poor because they wouldn't bother to try to solve any issue after selling you the vehicle. read more

If i was able to provide a 0 i most definitely would. My wife bought a 2014 Audi Q7 back in January of 2022. We both new that it was an older car with higher miles but it was a price that we could afford. Then came a slew of issues first starting with the sales rep. When our temp tags ran out he told my wife, " it was her job", not his to work with the dmv in relation to the tags. We were given only one key fob and the sales rep said, " im not sure if im able to get you the other one." List of issues include: *Key fob works periodically even after changing the batteries. *Air conditioning blows out "air" that you can see. *Air conditioner leaks all over car causing floor to be moldy. *Water doesn't drain from car. *When it's hot outside and it rains, condensation builds up so badly in the car that i have to use a towel to clean my window before driving. i do have a video but apparently you can only attach pics. will be interesting if we hear anything back. So my experience with this dealership. I initiated a lease with them three years ago. I gave them an opportunity to MATCH a deal I had with another dealer (just a little farther from me) and they agreed to match it, then repeatedly tell me I was getting a good deal. I knew that...but I dropped it in their lap, not the other way around. In any event, they did make it fairly easy to process the transaction. I live out of town so I didn't have them do any service. As I now come due on the expiration of my lease, I have been bombarded with their spam emails and letters in the mail asking me to be in touch with them about various offers on a new lease. I emailed the sales manager (who is listed on all the spam) and is who I worked with last time, no response. Then when I tried again, he must have forwarded my message to some trainee type. My email was very specific, what I was looking for, and that I preferred all communication by email or text. What do I get? A voice mail telling me to call them so I can make an appointment to come by and visit. What a waste of time. I have followed up at least three more times to get a quote. No response. I'm about to close on a lease with another Audi dealer that has responded quickly each step of the way. Disappointing interactions. read more

I'm new to Audi having come from Porsche and BMW where I typically received very good service, but not here. Every time I come into contact with Audi of Chantilly for service, parts or something else I've always gotten the "run around" or "I'm unable to help you" employee who never seems to know what is going on, is unable to answer my questions or, just doesn't know or understand their job. To date I've owned a 2018 S8, 2019 Q3 and a 2019 Q7, all Prestige. And to date, all I've received from this dealership is we don't value your ownership and don't care about your issues/problem/s. I went to this dealership to buy a 2013 Subaru Impreza WRX they had listed. I was coming from an hour away. I was told the car was in great condition and had been very well taken care of by the previous owner. I believed all this putting my trust into John Kwacala who was my salesman. I asked about a small sound the car was making (the knock that is now 10 times louder) and was told it was normal. I understand the car was a as is sale but selling a car with a completely faulty motor is something only an irresponsible dealership would do. I have not even had the car long enough to be able to cause this type of damage and have only been driving it to work and this is the sound it starts making 1 week and 2 days into ownership. I took it to a shop and I was told the motor has damage that was pre-existing hence the knock coming from the motor. The price I'm paying for the car is the price of a car that was supposed to be a working product not a headache. According to the Federal Trade Commission this is in violation of my consumer rights. This is a very unfair practice and no solution has been made for me after 5 days of trying to reach out to this dealership. To be honest this IS the worst experience I have ever had in my entire lifetime and do not wish this on anyone. Please stay away from this dealership. read more

I've never been so underwhelmed walking into a dealership. Granted, I've never owned or ordered a luxury car, but I expected flash and flair, and what I received was a very disappointing visualization. The "Audi exclusive" colors were relocated to a piece of paper where I had to review an inch by inch square. The holiday graphic within the dealership had more tech than anything the sales team at their availability. My expectations must have been too high. The salesman, John, was fantastic. I don't fault him for my underwhelming experience. But...just wasn't impressed with the experience. I did have to cancel my order and there were no questions asked. This review is strictly for the sales department. I first reached out to Audi Chantilly hoping to find an Audi S6 in a particular color combo with all the interested packages. There were maybe 100 or less of them in the US, so it's like finding a needle in a haystack. The sales rep Eric E. always communicated on a timely manner and provided various options as they came available for sale. Unable to find an S6, I purchased another car from another dealer, and then came across another rarity at Audi Chantilly. Reached back out to Eric (10-11 months since our last conversation) to come see the vehicle. Surprisingly, Eric remembered my search for an S6. Eric made the purchase process really smooth, price was negotiable and fair. No constant back and forth or waiting time in between. Manager came out and we got straight to the bottom line number. The staff is really friendly, professional, and easy to work with. Would definitely be back to Audi for my services and hopefully to purchase another Audi. read more
