Nice gym in Auburn!…read more I went before they remodeled and enjoyed my workouts here. I took yoga class and Zumba, everything is included here. You can get a key fob and go after the office closes, which is nice. Good gym with nice people and good equipment!

The equipment is great, people are friendly and there's a great vibe BUT there's not a lot of space so if you want to workout before work in the morning or after work in the evenings, it's absolutely packed and hard to get access to space to use weights. I bet it's better midday but I rarely was able to go during the day. I ended up leaving the gym and just working out at home. I find myself working out way more often because I'm not overwhelmed by the idea of having to drive somewhere to fight for space at the gym. I bought some hand weights and use FitOn workouts at home. Works for me! Nothing particularly negative other than it just didn't work for me. I think more class options at better times would be so helpful. I tried the group fit class which is circuit training - I could barely move! I think it just feels too small for me.

CACFit - I did not exercise, but a manager with professional demeanor showed me around, including their made in Italy Technogym machines. (no review)

Burn Boot Camp opened last month in Auburn. I just finished my sixth "camp" and it's been really…read morerewarding and a lot of fun. The camps are 45 minutes long, with a 5 minute warm-up and 5 minute cool-down within the 45 minutes. The trainors at Burn have all been really positive, encouraging and motivating. They demonstrate to the class a series of exercises and for about 35 minutes you rotate through the exercises with intensity. I will admit, the exercises are challenging, but the trainors are very supportive to help meet your own pace and personal fitness level. Throughout the class, the trainors pump the class up with positivity and "high-fives" all around. As far as the facility itself, it's all brand new. Kettlebell, ropes, dumbells, weight balls, etc. The main workout floor is like a rigid spring board, so there is much less impact on your body. They have a soundsystem and rotate motivational music across different genres during the workout. Burn has been running a really nice special during opening, which is $69 for 4 weeks, as many camps as you wish to attend. The entire staff is friendly, engaging and positive and they'll all remember your name. The first camp is free, so what do you have to lose.. except maybe a few extra pounds? After six camps, I feel great!
