The staff are very knowledgeable. We participated in two classes, learning a lot and getting answers to several perplexing garden issues. Their expert gardeners were very friendly and eagerly shared their knowledge with us. We learned that many landscapers, including Chatham Bars, source their plants from Beacon Gardens. The prices are very reasonable and are in line with other centers. Given the outstanding quality of the plants Beacon offers, this is a great value!

I went to the counter to ask to buy it even though I knew it was not an item of their inventory. I was asked to show the salesperson where I found it, and as I showed her she said, "oh just take it, it's not worth anything and we have plenty of them, just take it!" That kind of understanding of the customer and her needs is the most valuable skill ! I shall be back tomorrow and from now on and I will be BuYIiNG! It must have been stored in a mulch filled bog. Much of it is black in color, presumably because it was stored mixed with dirt and rotted mulch. Do not buy this junk. And if you do, at least don't pay by credit card over the phone like I stupidly did. Wait until they come and take a look at it before they dump it on your driveway! A couple pics for your viewing enjoyment. I don't know whether all of their wood is this way or they just decided to send me the junk that was sitting forgotten in a trash heap. There is cheaper and much better wood available on the cape. You have been warned.

I was working with another florist that failed to find a local (East Falmouth) florist who could get an arrangement together. I cancelled that order and called around at 3:50ish eastern time on a Friday night looking for a local florist that could deliver on super short notice and within budget (good luck to me, right?!). That is where Hira at Verde Floral Design came in and saved the day. She couldn't accommodate a delivery for same day as I was just calling 50 minutes before her shop closed, but she was lovely and willing to work with an Uber Courier to take the flowers she prepared. On the phone, she was super professional and courteous, and very accommodating. I would never ask a florist to arrange for sympathy flowers on super short notice, but I had no choice and am quite happy with the lightening fast turnaround. What a save! MVP! MVP! I am sure the flowers will be gorgeous and the family will be appreciative of the love from my colleague's work family back in the Bay Area of California. If you are in a tight spot, I highly recommend Hira and her team at the Verde Floral Design shop in Mashpee. She will take care of you.

When we got to town we went straight to Verde and, even though they were closing in an hour, they jumped on it and created a beautiful funeral spray for us. Since it was so late, and the viewing was in a Church, they could not promise delivery that evening or the next morning in time, so they helped us with instructions how to keep it fresh overnight to bring it with us tomorrow. They stayed late so they could help us - we loaded it into our car and we will bring it ourselves. Such a kind gesture in this time of grief- above and beyond!!

They went above and beyond and delivered the flowers the same day. Additionally, in very short notice they were able to change the delivery address upon my request. The person I spoke with was delightful. I explained to her what type of flowers I was looking for over the phone and when I got the picture I couldn't be happier with the results. My friend loved the flowers as well. I really like that they send you a copy of the delivery confirmation as well as a picture of the flowers. Great service all around!
