This review is for the Main Street Kitchen part of the store. As I see with another reviewer, I,…read moretoo, had issues with their Dura Supreme product. The quality was a problem, and it was a painful process working with Main Street. The shelves within these cabinets were terrible. I could have bought cheaper shelving from Home Depot and they would have been of a far superior quality than what I paid loads of money for with Botello's store. Thankfully my contractor cared about the quality of what he installed and made me new, quality shelving. Unfortunately the hutch had glass doors and painted shelves so that needed to come from Dura Supreme (attached a picture to show example of quality issue). 6 lots of shelving later, 2 of which were the wrong color, and I now have shelving that is ok but not great quality. Some of the cabinets arrived with a weird film on the inside and a bottom corner of the oven area was not right, and the contractor had his people fix these issues as best as they could. We had to have 3 lots of pantry doors sent as 2 lots were the wrong size. And through this all the folks at Main street were on top of nothing so it all continued to drag out. All of this started with their sitting on ordering a color sample for 2 months and when finally ordered, it was the wrong color. This meant that the color held up starting as it delayed the order. Main Street continued with sitting on things from this point to the end. We were always told solving these issues were a top priority, but they never were!! 16 months after delivery of cabinets, which does not include the lost time in finalizing the color sample, we had the last of the bits to complete the kitchen. I requested a discount given the quality issues and the burden of the kitchen completion delay, not to mention the constant follow up required to even get things moved along as they were never on top of anything. Then to be told we should be satisfied but at the same time tell us "This is not typical for the cabinet line, and I have been speaking with Dura Supreme since receiving your email." This was the response I received when I sent an email in July that listed out all the quality issues we experienced. So we should pay typical prices for what is not typical??? Back in July we were told they were working on organizing an on-site visit from the manufacturer, but unsurprisingly, many months later and still nothing. No communication, absolutely nothing. These were not cheap cabinets and we deserved better from Botello's. It is clear they don't care about customer service or the quality of the product they deliver. I am grateful my contractor cared about quality and did all that he could to fix the problems of what was delivered but it was no thanks to Botello's. I highly recommend you look elsewhere and save yourself the frustration and grief.

Yesterday, my daughters and I stopped in after we had lunch. Within 5 minutes we were approached by 3 separate associates asking if they could help us and if we had any questions. We said no thank you, and I picked up a quick bread mix. The first associate then said "Ma'am, if you'd like to leave your mix here while you continue your shopping?" while the look on her face said it all. Didn't offer for me to put the box I had with cupcakes in it down, just their mix. I put it back and we walked out. It was not service, it was blatantly watching us like hawks and making us feel like we didn't belong there and were under suspicion. They made us so uncomfortable from the minute we walked in! No other stores that we go to there have the arrogance and "better than you" heir about them that this store does. Yes, I CAN afford your RIDICULOUS prices, but NO I will not spend my money or time there ever again. You can take your attitude and shove it. Good luck selling your "upscale" (a.k.a shamefully overpriced) to the snotty Cape Cod "elite" because these 3 women who didn't look right have a LOT of friends.

Needed to add a kitchen and two full baths, as well as closets, move beam and add a laundry area. It came out fantastic. This group--from Tracey Perry's help with design (amazing!) to Mike Heinrich's detailed budget which they stuck to and Bill Schmidt's communication on every detail, it was actually a pleasant experience. I highly recommend this group. In between my two projects with Cape & Islands Kitchens I did another property with a well known, popular Falmouth builder (hint: begins with an "L"). It was a DISASTER. Do not be fooled by the lower initial numbers--you will pay in the end and the quality of work will suffer. I am so glad I was able to do this renovation with Cape & Islands Kitchens!

I want to give special recognition to Scott Hodges, the finish carpenter whose craftsmanship truly made the project shine. Scott's work is impeccable--especially the crown molding, which adds a level of elegance and detail that completely transforms the space. His precision, artistry, and attention to detail are second to none. Every cut, joint, and finish was executed flawlessly. Beyond his technical skill, Scott was a pleasure to work with: professional, respectful, and clearly passionate about his craft. If I could give Scott more than five stars, I absolutely would. His work exceeded all expectations and brought the entire project to life. If you're planning a renovation, do yourself a favor and ask for Scott Hodges. You'll be glad you did. We recently contracted Norfolk Kitchen & Bath to do a complete renovation of our master bathroom,…read moreand we could not be happier. From the initial design process with Danielle we felt at home with her guidance, and she made the entire experience fun and enjoyable. Danielle was extremely knowledgeable, and put us on the right path with regard to our budget, design expectations and really helping us to understand how the entire process works. Right from the beginning, we knew we had reached out to the right company. Then came the build process, in which we were fortunate enough to work with Steve Costa who not only juggled a third-floor walk-up, a building from the late 1800s, but also an extremely pregnant woman who was keen on getting this project off the ground and completed as quickly as possible. Steve led a fantastic group of NKB employees and subcontractors, but I would be remiss to not give a special shoutout to John and Mike who were our dream team carpenters, kitchen décor experts, and mental support during the project. Our dog clearly misses Steve, John and Mike as they became best friends it seems during the project. Additionally, Kelsea from the PMA team was a huge help in keeping the schedule/accounting on track for us. We were THRILLED with the final product (photos attached), and we are so very thankful for all of the hard work of the entire NKB team to bring our dream bathroom to life (before the baby, may I add)! If you are looking to have work done, look no further than NKB. We know that we will be using them in the future when needed, with no doubts about it.

Completion took more than twice the time they estimated. Once completed, the electrical system would not function. We requested the issues be fixed so the kitchen could be functional, but Norfolk Kitchens refused. They acknowledged the electrical problems existed, but stated because they were not legally obligated to remedy their poor workmanship because it was "up to code". Apparently new electrical systems don't have to function properly to meet "code". In our instance, Norfolk Kitchens failed to do work to a standard that resulted in a workable kitchen. Very poor workmanship.
