We frequented this grocery store during our stay in the area during the Fourth of July weekend. It had a small neighborhood feel with just about anything you needed (except citronella candles - something we were looking for last minute before our cookout at our rental). They had a good selection of fresh and packaged fruit and vegetables as well as prepared foods and snacks to take to the beach and good selection of meats and deli items. They did a good job of keeping things stocked during the busy holiday weekend and it remained fairly busy any time we went in. Sale items miss marked. Marked as on sale but NOT! The new deli. is horrible. Never, ever have what I want in the Frozen breakfast section, or other sections for that matter. Doesn't matter when I go in there. All around disappointing!!!! read more

I ordered cupcakes for my son's graduation party- Went to pick them up and they told me that someone else came and took those particular cupcakes. no explanation whether or not they asked for the other person's name, they kept questioning whether or not I sent someone else to pick up my cupcakes. The Market itself is fine; however, when calling Customer Service we are sent to somewhere in Asia and it is very difficult to understand and be understood. A request for a strong English speaker was ignored. read more

This is our go to supermarket while in Craigville/Hyannis. Although part of Shaws, they have their own selection of products. I like the pricing and selection although at times they seem to be out of basics, like herbs and fruit options, and even shrimp. That said, other shaws locations make up for any deficits. read more

I shopped here for many years but lately The store and everything in it has a strong chemical fragrance. A loaf of bread from our last trip had a strong fragrance to the bag . I object to this for health and aesthetic reasons. I don't like the scents and also don't want to eat food contaminated with fragrance chemicals and the carriers used. read more

This is a true neighborhood type community friendly market. I have had years shopping in markets, and this has become one of my absolute favorites. I have discovered shopping on line, placing the order, and then driving to the market to pick up the groceries. I can honestly state the staff is so courteous, efficient, & experienced in selecting the best fresh produce and meat. No additional fee imposed for paper bags or selecting this option. Very short wait time once you check in. The meat has consistently been high quality as is the produce. This is indeed a friendly neighborhood market providing many services to the Cape community. Arriving Saturday afternoon we were not up for spending time in a crowded grocery store so we placed an order for our groceries on line. Star Market gave us a choice of two pickup times then kept us up to date on the status of our order. In the meantime, we had a nice dinner nearby. As we were finishing dinner Star Market let us know our order was ready for pickup. We parked in the designated space, texted that we had arrived, and within five minutes our groceries were brought to the car. We found the prices to be reasonable and the selection of items adequate. Everything you need can be found in this store. The bakery has fresh breads and baked good everyday. They have sales on going all the time. Store is clean and well organized. Cashiers are friendly. Big parking lots with plenty of space. Don't forget to bring your bags. read more

Always have good produce and even though it's a small store, they ha everything you need and there's self check out which is helpful. Only thing that is lacking is the meat department, high prices for Grade B steaks and filets. And it's on the CCRTA bus route/Sandwich to Hyannis. read more

Now this isn't the largest supermarket in the area, but this Star Market has everything you need. The floral department always has a great selection of items and don't miss out passing through the prepared foods area. The store is also located on West Main Street which is nice because you don't have to go into the heart of Hyannis. read more

This local market is employed by the most devoted, hardworking folks who take great pride in their jobs. It is pretty well stocked and I never worry about freshness. So convenient and almost "mom and pop" feeling. read more

I give the Baking department an A+ for their food. Best Cornbread and Muffins I have ever had. Excellent taste . Don't change your formula.

Shaw's on West Main Street, Hyannis MA is the only place I will food shop. From their great Deli, bakery and entire staff, they are consistently the very best quality. Even though I work next to your other Shaws on Iyannough Road in Hyannis, as is closer to my place of work, the service is just really poor. Ed, Jeanne, the entire team on W. Main Street is bright, friendly, quick and understands great customer service. Your meat department is awesome and the meat markdowns really show how much this little market delivers good old fashioned service and value. read more
