Bee and Blossom created truly beautiful floral arrangements for the memorial service we had yesterday for our late mother at Saint Andrews by-the-Sea. We were very happy with the choice of colors and flowers. We recommend Bee and Blossom to anyone looking for first class floral arrangements for any / all occasions. read more

Needed a super last minute thank you to someone and the first two florists I called on Cape (I am from boston and not familiar with Cape florist) we're unable to fulfill my request. Came across Bee & Blossom. They could not have been more helpful and got the delivery out within 90 minutes which is lightening fast. The lady that I spoke to on phone that took the order was very nice and accommodating. My friend was very please. Excellent job and product!! read more

I called earlier this week and spoke with the owner, Lou Anne, to order a floral arrangement to be delivered (locally) the following day. I told her I wanted blue and white flowers (blue hydrangea, in particular) - in memory of my mother on what would have been her 100th birthday. I didn't want it to be large, but I did want it to have that gorgeous, out of the ordinary look that I associate with Bee and Blossom designs - like the pictures on their website. I asked Lou Anne what she thought was reasonable to spend for what I'd described; she said $75 plus $10 for delivery, so I placed the order, smiling at the thought that my sisters would receive such a beautiful memento for the occasion. I could not have been more disappointed with the flowers and with the oh-so-ordinary arrangement of those flowers (I posted a photo to Bee and Blossom's page here). No hydrangea, no blue thistle; only 3 blue delphinium (one of the stalks is broken off), 2 little grape hyacinths, 1 white chrysanthemum, a light green zinnia looking blossom -- and so much filler. To me, it looked like a vase filled with flowers from the grocery store, which would have cost $15 at the most. I called after the delivery and spoke to Lou Anne, who was polite and seemed genuinely concerned that I was SO disappointed. I told her I didn't want my money back (after further consideration, I did ask for a credit for 50% of what I paid) but that I did want her to know these flowers didn't look AT ALL like other work I'd seen them create and certainly did not look like a $75 arrangement. She told me that her assistant had created the arrangement in her absence and that she wanted to see a picture. I sent it to her, but I have had no response in the 4 days since. As a small business owner, I am particularly aware of the importance of customer service; sadly, the customer service at Bee and Blossom is the example of what not to do .... read more

I placed an order for Mother's Day flowers two weeks before Mother's Day. My order was supposed to be delivered two days before Mother's Day but my Mom never received the flowers and never heard anything from Bee & Blossom. I tried to call them multiple times the day before Mother's Day but their line is either busy or rings until you get a voicemail - and the voicemail box is full so you can't leave a message. There's no other way to contact them to get this issue resolved. They're obviously using the phone since I sometimes get a busy signal but apparently they're not answering the line or checking messages. I realize this is a very busy day for them (the day before Mother's Day) but it's not acceptable to fail to deliver customer's orders and then be impossible to contact! Update: I've now been calling for three days and am still unable to reach anyone or leave a message because the voicemail box is still full. Final Update: Well, I finally got my money back - but only after my mother (the intended recipient of the flowers I ordered... sigh) went there in person to get it straightened out since I don't live in the area. I never could reach anyone on the phone after a week of trying. The owner was apologetic but said they never received the order since it was placed on their website, which sometimes "loses" orders (though apparently it still remembers to charge the customer, send a confirmation email, and send a follow-up thank you email after the supposed delivery date). So, moral of the story... don't use their website to place any orders, I guess? But good luck trying to reach anybody to place an order by phone! read more

I cannot express my sheer disappointment in my experience with the Bee & Blossom. After reviewing some of their products on their "website "I found the florist to make sure I could get the upgraded version of what I saw. I was then informed that the website does not even belong to the florist and that they would do their bestto create the deluxe upgraded version of what I had selected. The result was an $80 vase of what can only be described as 1/2 dead flowers. Upon arrival I even asked if they had upgraded the bouquet per my request and the woman responded yes. This abomination of floral rangement's is not worth what you would get at a supermarket let alone a costly florist. read more

Since I had been the proud recipient of a bouquet once before, i decided to order a wrist corsage and boutonniere for my son's prom and let them work their magic. Bee and Blossom's arrangements are filled with beautiful and unique flowers, gorgeous design and last forever. The customer service can't be beat! I don't know any other florist that calls to confirm that you will be home to receive your delivery or during mild weather calls to tell you where the arrangement has been left. I send pictures of the arrangements to the sender to confirm that I have received what they requested and expected from an online or phone order. I placed an order with Bee & Blossom today over the phone -- I needed to send an arrangement to my Godfather in the Hyannis Hospital. They were sold out of the arrangement I wanted on their web site, but the woman who took my order asked me to trust her to put together a tasteful arrangement -- and she absolutely did! The flowers were delivered same day and my Godfather emailed me a photo -- just stunning! I couldn't be more pleased, and he loved them as well. An all-around great experience. read more

I called yesterday afternoon at 2:45 pm, distraught that I had forgotten to order flowers for my mother in law's birthday. The woman who answered the phone said they could still deliver for me, but it would have to be florist's choice. I gave a price range and mentioned that my mother in law liked clean, coastal styles. Bee & Blossom made her an amazing arrangement that fit her peffectly in very short order, and held delivery for me in order to get it out the door. They went above and beyond to accommodate my order and I would highly recommend them! read more

The worst flowers ever. Seriously don't waste your money - floral arrangements are skimpy and lopsided - often times dead flowers in the arrangement (had to send the arrangement below back the first time because the roses were all wilted and brown). No rhyme or reason how they put flowers together and lots of "fillers". Owner is beyond rude and acts like she's the only florist in town - she's not. Do yourself a favor and don't embarrass yourself by sending someone you care about anything from this shop! Bee & Blossom - A bunch of flowers thrown together - embarrassingly ugly although at least this 2nd time it came back the 3 roses weren't dead - Florists Near Me - Hyannis, Massachusetts

I visited the shop in Hyannis to order flowers for my father's funeral. There were 3 employees - no other customers - in the shop, but not one person acknowledged me until I announced why I was there - they said they knew I was coming because the funeral parlor called ahead. I ordered 2 medium-sized flower urns for funeral and a dozen single stem roses for the cemetery. The floral recommendations were spot on and the arrangements, roses were beautiful. That said, there was an awkward exchange when checking out about how and when they would deliver the flowers since the shop is closed on Mondays, the day of funeral. They were aware the funeral was Monday before I walked in. I think that should have been worked out between florist and funeral parlor, not between florist and grieving family member. When my sister called the next day for a floral heart arrangement for the funeral, she was told that her request was very last minute. Again, not appropriate to say to a grieving family member. We were also made aware that some family and friends ordered flowers for the funeral that were never delivered. Would not recommend this florist to anyone. read more

I called Bee & Blossom around 3:00pm on a Saturday after finding out my husbands grandmother was admitted to the hospital. We live out of state, and really wanted her to know we were thinking of her. After calling several other florists in the area and being told it was too late in the day, I was about to give up. I spoke to a very kind woman at Bee & Blossom. She asked what our budget was, and she assured me it would be bright and cheery. Not only did they get the flowers delivered within ONE HOUR, they delivered one of the most beautiful arrangements I have ever seen! My mother-in-law sent me a photo. It warmed my heart to see the smile it brought to our grandmothers face. Thank you Bee & Blossom! :) read more

I can't speak to their work, because I was cut off before I could ask my full question! "Hi, I was wondering if it would be possible to-" "NO. We've cut off our Mother's Day orders." Bee & Blossom is awesome ! I made a last minute order via the internet, but found they were without electricity due to a Nor' Easter. Called Lou-Anne on the phone and she was very professional and reassuring. No heat in the shop due to power outage but she still made sure to call me back and get the job done on time. Did I mention the great prices they offer compared to other local florists ? We will definitely keep their number for our next floral order. Recommended. read more

My partner and I were blown away by the Bee & Blossom flower arrangements for our wedding! We weren't at all sure of what we wanted. During our meeting with them, we named a few flowers that we liked and they put together a few beautiful arrangements for us right on the spot. The final arrangements were the perfect finishing touches to our autumn Cape Cod wedding, filled with hydrangeas and thistles. Overall, the crew at Bee and Blossom is absolutely attentive and incredibly creative. read more

I CAN NOT say enough about this florist! My family lives in Massachusetts and I live in South Florida. They call me every year before Mother's Day and before my best friends birthday for arrangement reminders. Ive had the flowers done every year for at least the past 5 and they are absolutely STUNNING!!! I fully recommend trusting this florist with your floral gifts! They use fresh flowers and always beautiful colors of what's in season. The flowers last for easily 2 weeks and still appear brand new! Cassie B. read more

Used them twice for events. Only used them the second time because everyone else was booked on that day. Their work is fine, prices are not the best, but not the worst. That being said, the owner is incredibly rude and unpleasant. They might be fine to use for a one time bouquet or arrangement, but when you are planning an event, you want someone who is reasonably accessible and pleasant to deal with, neither of which she is. She rushes you, is extremely terse, and is very difficult to actually speak to, other than the initial request and consult (and even that feels like she is burdened!) The previous reviews describing her rudeness are consistent with my experience here and I won't be using this florist again. read more

Rarely do I write a review, but I felt compelled due to lack of professionalism experienced by this florist. Called on Friday to place order for Saturday. "Can I place an order for tomorrow?" Big sigh followed by "yes, what would you like?". Order was placed, fair enough but the following day was when the rude behavior started. I was telephoned and told they had made 2 stops at the house, no one was home and "it looks like the house is shut down tight, are you sure she is there?". Turns out, the first time they went, they had the wrong address. That was blamed on google maps. Florist left message for my mother (recipient of flowers). A few phone calls back and forth and last one was from me to florist. Woman, extremely rude, saying she did me the "courtesy" of not leaving it on the front steps...and when she (my mother) FINALLY called back..." I told her I did not appreciate her attitude, she seemed as though she was doing me a favor. She started to blame google maps again for the first botched delivery. Really? You have a delivery service, invest in a GPS. I wouldn't mind, but the neighborhood is over 15 years old in the SAME TOWN that you are delivering. I reminded her that I was paying her for the service and product. She didn't seem to care. In the end, the flowers were delivered, but with her attitude, she really ruined the whole experience for my mom. Overall, really snippy and rude. For the life of me, don't know how she stays in business, but what goes around, come around. Buyer beware!! read more

This was a joke - called from out of town to arrange a floral delivery. The woman was so nasty on the phone - I identified the arrangment I was interested in off of THEIR website - she could not find it - got all exasperated and almost shouted "i don't have time for this" ........I mean really - for a 200.00 order - really you don't have time. Then I guess you don't have time for the funeral we are arranging either - can't imagine the income you just lost for that. Perhaps they need a customer service course - I recognize people have bad days but this was just outride rude - your loss bees and blossom - life is too short for this nonsense. read more

Bee & Blossom did an outstanding job with the flowers for my daughter's wedding I use the word "outstanding" because the flowers were in fact a stand out feature for an exceptional day. They went beyond traditional bouquets and centerpieces to be distinctive. The flowers added a lovely and vibrant feel our fall wedding. They were a perfect accent for Amy and her bridesmaids and added spice to every table. They brightened every picture in which they were featured. Bee & Blossom was great to work with and Amy got exactly what she hoped for (though she was never sure she was communicating exactly what she wanted). We were delighted with the process and the results. read more

Both the customer service and flowers were excellent. After reading the great reviews here, I ordered over the phone and they patiently helped me pick out flowers in the style and colors that I preferred. They also recommended which blooms and vase style would be best for a hospital room. I really appreciated their attention to detail. Although I haven't seen the arrangement in person, I have received rave reviews from my friend. And it was a bonus to be able to get same day delivery to the hospital even though I was late in placing my order at 3:00 pm. Thank you, Bee & Blossom! read more

I called to order a bouquet for my aunt who was in Cape Cod Hospital, and not only did they arrange to have it delivered that day (although I had ordered it late), but my aunt was absolutely knocked out and thrilled when it arrived! I was so happy that I called her back afterwards to tell her how delighted my aunt was with the "get well" bouquet. Thank you very much, Bee & Blossom! read more

I called yesterday and said that I needed 5 red and one yellow rose delivered tomorrow, can you do it. I was told yes and that it was $40. I asked for tight sepals and they told me that if they were too tight they would not open. I went in to pay them and was told that it would $48. The lady said, "oh you want them delivered?" When I saw them I said that I had asked for tight sepals. They were on there way out, just about ready for the trash. The yellow rose had browning on some of it's pedals. The woman told me they were new....lol. I told her that had majored in horticulture in college and she said she wasn't going to argue with me. She asked if I wanted them or not and told her definitely not. Poor quality, poor professionalism. I suggest they save the BS for the ignorant. read more

We got stung by the bee! She did our wedding last summer, and the first meeting went well. We gave her a budget with which to work with and I had a few questions about what types of flowers were available at that time of year and what could be within our budget. Over the following months, communication quickly became a difficult issue from her end. She didn't want to spend the time with me on the phone (all of 2 phone conversations) and told me that if it went over 10 minutes she would have to charge me extra, which I didn't understand since we were spending so much on our wedding. She kept missing information, called me 2 weeks before our wedding and told me she couldn't get vases and that she had spent too much time already online looking for them and could I please go get some? Are you serious? Any bride 2 weeks before her wedding does not have time for this! I kept asking for a budget, how we were with flowers and how much our bill was at and she never answered me. Then two days before our wedding we find an extra $1000 billed to us by her on our credit card. After a lengthy conversation, turns out she went over budget by about $1000, plus we had to purchase our own vases for the tables. On the day of, she shows up at 2:31 - one minute after I was supposed to walk down the aisle with alter flowers and corsages. My husband had to pin on his and his parents flowers in front of all the guests. To her credit, my bouquet and my bridemaids' bouquet and the alter flowers were absolutely beautiful. But I certainly wasn't expecting cabbages on the tables, and had specifically told her no cabbage. Our wedding was still beautiful and we forgave her pretty easily at that time since we were in such a great mood. But I wouldn't do business with her again. read more

I cannot imagine how and why some of you have rated Bee and Blossom with anything other than five stars. Is it possible that you contributed to the problem in some way with unrealistic demands? I worked with Bee and Blossom for my daughter's wedding which took place last weekend. The entire experience was nothing short of fabulous and professional. I was treated with great courtesy and they were totally invested in our event. I am a perfectionist and every detail of her wedding was of enormous importance to me. The staff at Bee and Blossom delivered gorgeous centerpieces, bouquets, etc. I'm still getting calls from people telling me that the were knocked out by the centerpieces. Some of you made reference to unexpected costs. Did you repeatedly change your minds? They can only give you an estimate based on what it is that you want. If you change, it changes. That's just common sense! I had changes in my estimates because I made changes in my requests. I expected that there would be additional costs with my additional requests. Again, duh....common sense dictates that the cost would change with added requests. I could not find one thing wrong with Bee and Blossom and would wholeheartedly recommend this florist to my closest friends. As if the gorgeous florals weren't enough, when they came to collect the tall arrangements the day after the wedding, they could have easily discarded them. Instead, the drove the arrangements to various nursing homes and gave them to those who had no flowers. So, not only are the consummate professionals but they have big hearts, too! It was very gratifying to know that the beautiful flowers made people happy twice. I cannot say enough about Bee and Blossom. read more

I am a disappointed bride! I live on Cape and had my wedding at Hyannisport this past June. Worked with the florist for months and met more than once, and sent pics via email to finalize the colors and textures and flower choices etc. Even discussed the container options for the arrangement at back of the chapel to have it "Capey" in theme (i.e. like a boat vessel or white basket). Colors were to be shades of BLUE (hydrangea blue was inspriation) and fresh limey greens. What I got was lots of purple, including purple roses, and just a glass vase container at the back of the chapel. None of what we spoke about. Imagine my disappointment walking down the aisle seeing flowers that did not match the event. I did send my message to the florist along with pics of what I had sent her as guidance, from her own website, and shots of what I actually received. Got no acknowledgement so I am posting here to help others look elsewhere. I paid thousands for my wedding flowers and was not happy. "One and done" with this vendor and I have told other brides this past summer to look elsewhere. They did. read more
