I should have paid attention to the reviews before trusting Bloom with my flower order for my mom's birthday! I went to their website this morning to order a same day flower delivery for my mom's birthday, as the gifts that we sent got delayed due to the airlines and weather. I wanted to make sure that she got something special on her birthday and chose to trust Bloom Florist with my order. What a HUGE mistake! I placed the order at 8:31am as the website said that any order placed before noon would be guaranteed for same day delivery (see the picture below). I spent over $150 on an arrangement plus delivery, and made sure to leave a good tip on top of that for the driver. At 1:30pm I received an email from Bloom saying that my order had been canceled due to them being out of the flowers that I ordered directly from their website. I immediately called and spoke with Kristy who informed me that not only was she out of the flowers that I ordered, but that she didn't have anything else that she could substitute as a replacement! When I asked her what she could do to make this right, she basically responded by saying that I could call another place (at 1:30pm on a Sunday!), or have the flowers delivered another day.... Ummm.... I ordered the delivery for today as TODAY is my mom's birthday... not Tuesday, or next week... TODAY! She then went on to say that she wouldn't have fulfilled the order anyway since she didn't see the order until noon.... But I have an email confirmation from Bloom from 8:31am! If you need flowers or gifts, DO NOT order from Bloom... you will be disappointed, frustrated, and left scrambling trying to find another option when they inevitably cancel your order. Thankfully Hyannis Country Garden is coming through for me in a HUGE way and they are going to make sure that my mom gets something special today, even though I called them at almost 2pm on. Sunday! STAY AWAY FROM BLOOM!!! I CAN'T STRESS THIS ENOUGH!!!

My $62 got me: 3 roses, 3 alstroemeria, a few tea roses, 2 spider mums and all carnations. Oh.. and baby's breath. What a rip! I should have gone to Shaws and bought them there. I had also instructed her to call me if there was problem with the delivery.. which translated into the deliveryperson leaving them out in the 80 degree sun. I called to let the manager know my displeasure, and some terribly unhelpful and rude woman named "Judy" let me know that my desire for "cut flowers" implied vase to her. (I would never ask for a vase.. cut flowers are cut flowers and florist vases are ugly and overpriced) She said she would pick it up tomorrow and replace it with "plain flowers". No thanks. What was I expecting? A gracious apology for the mix up, and a possible refund of the cost of the vase. What I got? Nothing. A bad mood and crappy, wilting flowers. At Thayer, the customer is always wrong, and they will inevitably rip you off. I hate to say this.. but just do FTD or something like that on the Cape. This place is terrible, and gives local florists a bad name.

There were 4 lilies and 2 irises and none of the others. The rest was just filler of carnations and some cheap daisies. I cannot believe I spent 78 dollars on a basket that looks like it should've been 30.
