I love this store! There are gadgets and gizmos galore! Upon entering call there's all kinds of food to the left including honeys, soups, and crackers. They have a wonderful cake decorating section as well as lots of oxo brand kitchen accessories. But the upstairs! The upstairs is amazing, with an apron and table cloth hallway, That leads you to the room of Le Creuset and every pot and pan of your dreams! DON'T SHOP HERE!! A couple of days ago my husband purchased a slicer for $49.99 from the store. The 1 time my husband used it, he found it awkward and difficult to operate, so he tried to return it. Since the product and the box it came in were perfect, he was shocked when the store employee refused to give him a refund or store credit. I decided to try and return it the same day and the employee screamed at me, saying it was used and she would not refund it or give me a store credit. I persisted by asking her again and she said I was causing a scene. She then opened the door of the store and threw the product out on the driveway!!! Such a shocking experience!! Friends and acquaintances who also live in this town on Cape Cod said they thought the treatment was abusive . We will never shop there again. read more

Cook Shop is quite a hidden gem on the Cape! It's a culinary store packed to the brim with every gadget, appliance, spice, jarred sauce, jam, oil, tea, etc you could imagine!! They have such a wide selection from every category, you're sure to find what you're looking for! Cook Shop even carries high end knives (like Shun & Zwilling), reputable cookware brands (like Lodge & Le Creuset), gorgeous wood cutting boards, baking gear, and much more. The staff was also very friendly and knowledgeable :) My mini haul from my first visit to Cook Shop: passion fruit curd, lime curd, garlic aioli, (hard to find) stonewall kitchen sauces & jams, raspberry peach champagne jam. A truly exceptional store. Prices seem a little on the higher side, but there is clearly no other place like it anywhere to be found. The cookware on the upper floor just makes the mouth water to think of. This is a place where you could have hundreds of photos of items you just can't buy at any other spot. They carried the Charles Viancin Vortex Overboil Ring which other high end stores had never even heard of! A complete masterpiece of a store, I hope it stays here forever. read more

I'm glad that I have just a shred of self control and a Boyfriend who might kill me if I bring home another kitchen appliance or rabbit cookie cutter. I could so some serious damage to this store. I found that this well organized store was a cooks dream. It had the basics that every kitchen should have, as well as the fun and funky things that you just want to have. This is the place to treat yourself since I found their prices to be fair. I noticed that several of their food items were less than what I pay for in the grocery store in Boston. Go upstairs to check out the sale items, small appliances, and cookware, like Lodge cast iron skillets. Greeting you at the top of their stairs is a wide assortment of aprons. This is a nice little place along scenic Route 6A a little west of the center of Brewster. The shop has a mix of high-end and lower-end items for the kitchen, as well as gourmet food and tough-to-find things, such as a variety of dried chili peppers. Prices seem rather high for some items, which is not a real surprise, since Brewster is a pretty well-to-do town, and some of the products aren't of the best quality, including the pepper mill I bought that is basically unusable it is made so poorly. It's definitely a place to hit while driving along Route 6A, but it's not the best kitchen shop I've been to by any means. read more

Good selection of many har to find items (gear and spices etc...), a lot of stuff jammed into this small store which makes it challenging on a busy day so avoid the summer if possible. Pricey and service is no great shakes, basically cashiers. A fun place to go on a rainy day or if you need something and its nearby if you are in the area. The kitchen store in Hyannis is a better choice if you can wait/travel. read more

If you can't find the cooking item you are looking for its possible that they don't make it. The staff are incredibly well versed and can speak to products and compare/ contrast each item. Every time I visit I find myself buying a few things - I particularly love these reusable scrubbers that they sell that come from Germany. What a fun place to browse for cooking stuff! This place is two stories packed with all sorts of kitchen gadgets that I've never seen before (e.g. lemon squeezer, storage container specifically for herbs). They have a beautiful collection of cutting boards and fun kids aprons (with matching chef hats!) I was surprised by the large amount of Asian food items here like spring roll rice paper and fish sauce. Minus one star only because everything is packed pretty tightly, so not much space to move around. read more

Overpriced merchandise and terrible staff. I've come in here several times and never had a pleasant experience. They definitely have a large selection, but the quality is often poor considering the price. Secondly, the staff is more often than not uninterested in actually helping customers.
