This store is VITAL to the kitchens of Martha's Vineyard! It's been here for many, many years, and for a reason: They carry the best, most complete and affordable selection of kitchenwares on the island! You can both get a $5 mug here and an expensive Le Creuset French Oven here, with everything in between. The selection includes a lot of white dishware, Le Creuset cooking items, lobster-themed dishes and serverware, a huge selection of coffee mugs with very reasonable price tags on them, cooking utensils, kitchen appliances, napkins, tablecloths, you name it! The one (major) drawback to this store is that they are NOT WHEELCHAIR-ACCESSIBLE and have a large front step, as well as a tall flight of stairs inside. It would be nice if they put a doorbell by their entrance so that someone in a wheelchair requiring assistance could let the people at the register know to come to the front door. Even nicer would be if they got an inexpensive, foldable metal ramp off of Amazon to put out in order to accommodate their wheelchair-using would-be customers. However, they WILL help someone out at the front door if they notice you there. I give them a little more leeway than I would for a business off-island, because on Martha's Vineyard, there just aren't a lot of options for well-stocked, affordable kitchenware stores. There's not much else to say, other than the usual Martha's Vineyard caveat: call ahead to double-check their hours, especially in the off-season. This is an excellent store, and I recommend it to anyone looking for kitchenware or a little island kitsch on the Vineyard! read more

One of the best home goods stores you'll ever visit! Kitchen items are the specialty but there's plenty of other items to choose from. Curtains, rugs, bedding, towels, decorative items. I love the kitchen items on the first floor. Everything you want or need is here. Great selection, reasonable prices and very helpful staff. Most of us are wannabe chefs and this store will help you find just that right tool or accent for your fabulous dinners and everyday meals. Wish I had found this place earlier. LeRoux At Home is an island version of Crate and Barrel mixed in with Williams-Sonoma. Toss in a little Christmas Tree Shop, even. Once again, it goes with the territory- this place is expensive. If you own a home on the island and are looking for kitchen gadgets, pots and pans, fondue pots, plates, glasses and place mats, they do have them here, but most of them are the top of the line and thus, very costly. Le Creuset, and All-Clad lead the way. Many of their items have a nautical theme, with plates in the shape of fish, lobsters painted on the wine glasses and mermaids on the platters. You'll find dish towels, copper cookie cutters, cork screws, wire whisks, blenders, food processors and a few gourmet items. It's a nice place to look for a wedding present or hostess gift. Upstairs there are curtains, pillows, bed spreads, sheets and towels. I have been up there numerous times but was never tempted by anything. Just not my style. If you are outfitting a new home on the island, you'd have better luck shopping off island or on line than relying on places like LeRoux with their limited inventory. I have done lots of Christmas shopping in here and it is a fantastic place to waste a half an hour when it is raining or you are waiting for the ferry to come in. read more

This is my favorite store on Main Street! If I am looking for sheets for the guest rooms, a new sangria dispenser (I bought this summer!) a new outdoor rug or anything else for my house this is the store. I have three words for you: Bacon Flavored Chocolate. Seriously. Ok so it wasn't that great, and it cost me like $7, but damn was it worth buying. They also stock 18 year aged Balsamic vinegar that they say they buy straight from Italy, and bottle themselves. I don't care if they get it from the devil himself, its deeeeeeeeeeelicious. Love this store - another must-visit whenever we visit the island. Good selection of cookware, tableware, kitchen gadgets, linens, and other things for the home. They used to have flavored olive oils and balsamic vinegars but they have moved all foods to an annex across the street. We always find one-of-a-kind things to take home here. This is a nice kitchen accessories store on the island. They sell kitchen gadgets, pots, pans, food products and other stuff for the home. They have a aged balsamic vinegar and olive oil which is so good. You can taste test them are there they have unique flavors like Blackberry Ginger, Orange, Espresso all are very good and pricey but are worth it. I paid $15.99 for my bottle of Blackberry Ginger Balsamic Vinegar. I might have to buy some more on line because I don't know when I will be back to the island.Very nice shop to visit. read more

Has a bit of everything and the prices are reasonable. The William-Sonoma or Crate and Barrel island spot. Great for home owners that needs every possible Kitchen, bath or bedding (ok, not much on the bedding front). Loads of kitchen gadgets. Actually, surprisingly the service tends to be quite good as well (although the last guy at the register was a bit snarky, was it something I said?). On the whole it is a tremendously useful resource. Even for renters that need an item not in the rental; take it home or leave it for the next renter. I cook a lot. This is one of the finest kitchenware stores around. It has serious cookware on par with any urban store. Reasonably priced for a resort. If you need something for the kitchen, they should have it . They have a new store across the street that has specialty foods where you can get your imported pasta, spices, chocolate and most especially their 18 year old balsamic vinegar and imported high grade olive oil. Lots of them are flavored, but I stick with the plain. You won't find anything like it nearby. Their linens and housewares are fine but nothing special. read more

We have been shopping here since it opened. After today's experience I can assure you we will not shop here again. We bought a plastic "air"tight cake container and after trying it for a week we decided to return it. Aside from not being air right my mother who has Alzheimer's had trouble opening it up. I went in today to return it and buy three other items that would work for us. So they would not take it back so they not only lost a long term customer but additional sales today ( the three items we were going to buy cost much more than the $24 return. Leroux is a wonderful store with a wide variety of quality products -- but be aware if you return something your credit card will not be credited, they keep your money and give you a store credit. I mentioned to the nice young lady who helped me that the item I purchased might not work out and she encouraged me to take it home and try it, never mentioning the return policy. That you find out later -- and it is printed on the slip which you get after purchasing. They also have an "approval" policy which was explained too late for me to take advantage of it. Love this store. We live here and buy all of our small appliances from LeRoux. They carry quality and the prices are very close to online prices, especially when you factor in shipping and headaches of returns. Great accessories and fun stuff too. Now there is a store across the street with gourmet vinegars and oils that are amazing! My daughter was visiting and bought a packet of soup a couple days ago. It was delicious. They carry all kinds of interesting, yummy treats too. read more
