There's always a great selection, from antique oddities to cheeky modern wares. My wife loved all the vintage books, and my daughter got a chuckle from the silly greeting cards and postcards. Some things might seem pricy, but it's cause they're rare finds, and the owners put a lot of work into sourcing neat stuff, so they have to put their own time into searching and purchasing goods. Compared to plenty of other antique stores, this place has great bargains! There's plenty of things in all price ranges, so I we always leave the store satisfied with our purchases, and excited to see what they have next time we visit! We hope the store stays around a long time so we can keep visiting it for many summer vacations to come!

Everything is dated, and it has this "dead rich lady" vibe. If you want to walk out with something that's already nice, you might find something, but you probably won't. If you want a good project, this place is a goldmine. I'm big on refinishing furniture, and the furniture I've found here has been way higher quality with more potential than at the Vineyard Haven thrift store (or any of the Ikea reject stuff in Boston). Lots of solid wood, lots of interesting pieces. This is the only thrift store I've ever seen selling scratched, vintage Herman Miller furniture. I would say this place is reasonably priced considering what they sell, but that the price range is high compared to the Dumptique or VH Thrift Store.

It's sad to say it, because I love the Vineyard and I love thrift shops, but this place is overpriced for this kind of shop, and mainly filled with tired old junk. Look around. Maybe you will find a jewel, as I have. But when they have broken items from the Christmas Tree shop (label still on) that are priced at double their original price, I just have to say something is wrong here.

The owners are friendly; sometimes they even place free items on the sidewalk. The parking lot is kind of scary- terrifying potholes, some are poorly marked. I was surprised at how much furniture was in stock, including a lot of beautiful bedroom and dining rooms pieces. Most of these pieces are ready to be used, clean and with good finish. This is a fairly new business, and a really good addition to the antiques scene on the upper cape. I plan to become a loyal customer, since the stock seems to turn over pretty briskly.
